To buy these boots. Quality is awesome, made here in the US. Fit is perfect, follow the fit guide, and your set to go with a product that actually is as advertised!

I purchased this shoe and it was on backorder until 2/27 but I received it WAY before that. There is some snug room but with a light/midweight sock, the boot feels pretty comfortable and still has a little room for a heavier sock. These look great with just about anything; I love the versatility! I am very happy with these boots and hope to be a long-life customer of L.L. Bean!

Great pair of boots! Fits great. I was worried about the width but they are perfect and wider than I thought they would be. Size is a little larger than expected as well. Nice and warm with dress socks.

Just received these boots and they are awesome. Likewise, LL Bean's customer service is second-to-none. However, make sure you follow the sizing guide. I am usually an 11 in sneakers and 10.5 in dress shoes and ordered a 10(way too big). Sent back and just received the size 9 and they fit very well. Can't wait to try these bad boys out!

Bought these boots roughly a year ago. After two winters of wear, must say these are a fantastic, timeless pair of boots and belong in everyone's wardrobe. Selected an unlined version of the boots to allow wear during the rainy periods of spring and summer. A tad loose when wearing lightweight socks, but a better fit in winter with heavyweight socks. Worth the trade-off to a versatile boot all year long. Think half sizes being offered would have yielded a more ideal fit, but still more than satisfied with a handmade, domestically produced pair of boots.

With all the innovations in footwear you'd think these boots would be losing ground. Not so - This was the first pair I've purchased in 10 years and I still love them. Should never have wasted my time trying other "latest & greatest"

I've always wanted a pair of these boots and finally purchased them. I'm only sorry that I waited this long. The quality is second to none. It's a great fit (just follow instructions on sizes). The boots are lightweight yet sturdy and completely waterproof. It's great to see an American made product of such high quality. This may have been my first purchase but it certainly won't be my last.

I BOUGHT THESE BOOTS FOR MY SON AND HE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM. LLBEAN IS THE BEST BOOT YOU CAN BUY! THEY ARE A COOL LOOKING BOOT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Boot quality was excellent. But I was unable to wear the boots because the last did not fit my damaged rt foot. All other aspects of the Bean experience was great. Will continue to purchase other Bean products.

For my first pair of bean boots, I went with the red wine color. These are awesome and I love them already. I ordered them a whole size down from my regular shoe size and they fit perfectly. They have plenty of room inside for my toes to move around or I could easily wear a thicker pair of socks if I wanted. The insoles are really cushioned so if you like a little more support definitely look into buying some insoles, but these are comfortable boots. The leather on these is extremely soft, and the construction is great! You can tell L.L. Bean really does provide the durability they market. Overall, I absolutely recommend.

This is the 2nd pair of boots I have bought for my children.Great quality. My daughter wants a pair for next Christmas.I will order them early though because I did not get them in time for Christmas

Bought these for my husband. He wanted something a little different so went with the wine color and loved them. There was a card enclosed with information about who made the shoes which was very cool. Super nice quality. He normally wears a 10.5 and went with 10 based on recommendations which worked perfectly for him.

At age 55, I bought my first pair of LL Bean boots. The salesman was one of the best I have ever dealt with. There were so many options, I was unsure which boots I should buy. He asked me how I planned to use the boots and then made a recommendation, based on his own use of Bean boots over 28 years. He recommended I buy the basic boots and not one of the more expensive boots. Explaining why the basic boot was the better choice for me. He also took the time to explain how to care for my boots, to maximize their life. This was at the Kenwood store and I am sorry I did not get his name. Thank you for hiring someone who has a passion for your products.

Fit: buy the sizing info for wool socks. These aren't quite warm enough to wear without them, especially around the rubber toe (30F and down you'll start to notice it a bit like a cold air pocket). Also, if you wear normal socks at the wool sock sizing they won't be super loose, just a bit roomy. I wear a size 9 usually (8.5-9 normal with wide feet/high arches), the 8 fit perfectly (including with the arches). Could have gone 7 but a bit too narrow. Waterproof: very, and didn't notice the leather leaking through either in 1'' snow, although I did waterproof with the bean treatment product (doesn't change the color). Comfort: Surprisingly off the bat very comfortable, the soles in them are awesome. The high ankle doesn't bother me much so I don't notice it. I would buy these over the 6'' if you're dealing with snow/weather, 6'' wouldn't cut it I think in any decent amount of snow.

Boots fit perfectly and Bean's sizing tips made that possible. I would have bought a size to large if not for the detailed information on sizing. Thank you L. L. Bean for a great pair of boots.

These are the boots you want for walking among the snowflakes. These boots do the job! Made in America. Great! Again, my feet have spoken. I would buy again.

Comfortable, waterproof boots. Because they run large, I drove to the LLBean store to try them on. I need boots/shoes that are very wide across the toe area, so purchased these in men's size 7W, rather than shopping in women's.

I have been wanting a pair of these for years. I finally got them around Christmas. It finally snowed and I had some extended wear time. I absolutely love them. They are everything I expected. Like many have said, they are slightly bigger than a normal boot. This works well with a bulkier sock. I would definitely recommend and am buying a pair for my son.

Wow! My order came in really, really fast. I ordered the boots the evening of the 11th and had them on my feet on the 13th. The boots fit perfectly and the craftsmanship is great. Thank you RUTH on the Bean Boot Team! Finally dry feet...I am so excited. I instantly tried the boots in a muddy field with standing water. No problems, great traction. I highly recommend you buy these boots if you want dry, comfortable feet.

These boots are incredible. I have had them for 3 years now and they are just as good as the day I got them. They've never leaked, and grip quite well. 10/10

Very comfortable, was very quick to break in. Very waterproof and keeps quite warm with a pair of nice socks even though it's not super insulated. I was a bit worried about the fit since I bought it online, but ordering a size down works great with a thick pair of socks.

Very satisfied. Followed sizing recommendations and they were accurate. Great style, expect to be wearing them for years to come.

Bought these for both teenage children. Everyone has to have bean boots! Very satisfied kids!! Mom too, good quality will last a long time!

I wear a 12.5 in athletic shoes, a 13 in Sperry topsiders, and 11.5 in Clarks desert boots. I purchased 11 in these Bean Boots and they fit perfectly. For the best comfort I double sock with a normal pair of socks under a pair of J.crew camp socks. I wore them through a hike up a creek this week and they are completely water proof as well as extremely comfortable.My father has had his bean boots for 35 years and he loves them. I'm excited for decades to come with my new LL. Bean Boots.

My son lives in this boot. This is a repurchase of the same item. It is so well loved that this is the 3rd time we have purchased this in several years. He also has the thinsulite version, but that is only for very cold days - so this model gets the heavy usage. Great boot!
