Normally, a size 11 D. Ordered down a size to 10 D. Boots fit great. Look forward to years of use.

These were a Christmas gift for my son in college. I had bought a pair for my 2 other sons and knew it would be a great product and gift. I was not disappointed. These are great boots and I will continue to choose them each time a good pair of this type of boot are requested. You won't be disappointed. Just read reviews on sizing as these boots run a bit large and you might need a smaller size than you normal shoe size.

I just got these after returning my first pair. Regardless of what you think, DEFINITELY ORDER ONE SIZE SMALLER! They are comfortable, and I cannot wait to really put them to the test. I am wearing them around the house to get them loosened up. I am sure I will get a lifetime out of these, and I will be able to pass them on. This is the one product this company was built on, and I am now proud to own a pair. They take pride in every pair they make.

I have had my duck boots for years and have really enjoyed them! I was excited to see that my 15 year old grandson had requested them on his Christmas list. I live in NC and I ordered the boots on a Tuesday and by a Christmas miracle received them on Thursday. By using your sizing guide the boots were a perfect fit. You guys are the best! He loved them and that made both of our Christmas. Thank you for an excellent product and excellent customer service! Always sing the Bean praises!!

Got these for my grandson who is in college for Christmas & he loves them. Didn't want to take them off. I think they are a "fashion statement" for guys his age. But they fit him perfectly & looked great on. Highly recommend them.

Extremely comfortable. Perfect for rainy weather

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. He is usually a size 11.5 but I bought him a 10. They fit perfectly and I have a happy hubby. Good looking boots and very well made.

Using as my everyday work boot, super comfortable. Normally wear size 11 ee, had to have 10 d in the bean boot. Can't say enough about L.L. Bean customer service, ordered two different styles of boots both in the wrong size. L.L. Bean handled the exchange super fast at no cost to me.

I bought them a size smaller than my feet like the instructions said and they fit perfectly. The quality is unbelievable they are definitely worth every penny. I feel they will last me a long time.

As a lifelong LL Bean customer, raised in the great state of Maine, I am happy to report that the most recent shipment of Bean boots that I purchased for my son remains the high quality that I have come to expect over the years. As a retired Army officer, I have moved and served all over in many weather conditions and my pair of Bean boots have been right there with me. I have outfitted my whole family with these Bean boots and am confident that they will give years of loyal and comfortable service to their feet just as mine have done for so long. Everyone should own at least one pair of these. Made in Maine and will last a lifetime. Can't ask for much more than that. L.L. himself would be proud.

I've worn 10.5 D or 11 all my life so when they recommenced that I purchase a size 9. I didn't think 9's would work for me so I purchased some 10D boots. They fit loosely even with heaven socks. I ordered size 9D and they fit but a little snug. So I ordered a 9EE and they fit perfect and are comfortable with heavy socks. Bottom line if you wear a 10.5D purchase 9EE's and you'll be satisfied out of the box. Oh by the way LL Bean has the best customer service representatives I've ever dealt with hands down!

I bought these for my son and he LOVES them! GREAT product and decent price.

I found it hard to believe the recommended "one size smaller" but lo and behold it was true. The boots fit perfectly in a size one size smaller than I normally wear. AND... they're actually quite comfy. I'm very pleased.

My 13 year old son wanted a pair of these boots for Christmas. LLBEAN was the only place I could find a size 14. He loves them!!! Very happy boy!!

These boots are by far the best boots ever! They are so versatile with their abilities as well as how to wear them. You can wear them for a little dressier occasion. You can wear them down with just sweatpants on a normal day. You can wear them out hunting, in the rain, snow, or sun! They are by far the best boots I have ever owned and I will not ever change. I will buy these everytime I need new boots!

These boots are great. Wonderful quality, and I like the style. But the sizing is just ridiculous. I wear a 10 to 10.5 in everything: running shoes, boots, dress shoes, etc. For these? I had to exchange 9's for a set of 8's. The 8's fit great, though.

My son in law loved his LLBean boots from 10 yrs ago, but they were worn out... so these were a gift. He is very happy to have them!

My husband wears a size 12 and I ordered a size 12. They fit perfectly with a slightly thicker sock. He wanted to wear a heavier sick anyway because these boots are not lined. They do not run an entire size larger.

When we got a dog that required walking twice a day, I knew my tennis shoes would not do the trick, even in west Georgia's relatively moderate winters, so I turned to Bean. These boots keep my feet dry and warm when we venture out. Be sure to read -- and follow -- the size instructions when ordering because these boots run large. I ordered my regular size and must wear two pairs of socks for a better fit, although the extra socks provide more warmth. I might have been able to buy a smaller size, but I'm satisfied with these.

The fit was spot on with Beans recommendation on sizing. I wear 9.5 and ordered 8.Well constructed with very good traction. I found them to be comfortable , can be a little cold on the foot during snow. With good socks they are tolerable in the snow.I would recommend them.
