Just got them for Christmas and I can't wait for it to cool off so I can wear them down here in the ATL!! They fit perfect with plenty of room for some thicker socks.....recommend them to anyone.

I HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO WEAR MY NEW 8" BEAN BOOTS YET BUT I HAVE A PAIR OF 6" BOOTS I BOUGHT ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO. I LOVE MY 6" BOOTS SO MUCH I RECENTLY SENT THEM BACK TO BE RESOLED. I HAVE TRIED ON MY NEW BOOTS AND THEY FIT GREAT. I HAVE NO DOUBT THEY WILL GIVE ME THE SAME GREAT SERVICE MY OLD BOOTS HAVE. DON'T BUY CHEAP IMITATIONS. SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND GET THE BEST. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID.

I have had these boots in the past and they satisfy my needs in all weather situations. I also have your 10" Bean boots. We buy nothing made in China as we try very hard to keep jobs in our own country. Thank you for a great product-one that I have enjoyed for nearly 60 years.

My son loves his boots. It fits true to size with width but we went up a size because of being told we may need to. It fits perfect by doing so.

Have had my ll bean classic boots 1 month Note: order 1 size smaller then normal size they run big in order to have your socks fit. EE wide perfect for wide feet American classic!!!

This is a gift for my teenage son so I do know about performance yet but I did have him try them on before wrapping them up and putting under the tree!

This is a classic boot that look goods and is functional. I like the fact that they come with at waranty. Send them back if you have any problems. They should last for decades. Everyone needs a boot for the rain/mud!

Finally repurchased after 20+ years of use from prior LL Bean boots. Consistently excellent quality for another 20 years of service.

I just got these. I ordered wear 9 4EE, and ordered 8 EE. These are great boots! Fit great, comfortable, I wish the uppers were softer, but they are great boots none the less, and they will break in! I highly recommend these boots!

My son loved his boots. They look and feel awesome.

My feet have been kept dry for 40 years. The same pair I bought in Maine in 1978 for hiking and camping and birding are coming out of the closet for use again in another month. The tread is a bit worn and the traction isn't as good as it once was on the rocks in the Adirondacks back in my college days but combined with a thick pair of socks, I have no worries in the dead of winter.

These reviews speak for themselves but i put these boots to the test and i would purposely step in deep puddles and snow just to test and came out good, i highly recommend you get 1 size down doesn't matter what you feel about your feet especially if you're not near an outlet store, I ordered size 11 I had to go down too a 10 but even if you get the wrong size and EVERYBODY comes in to return them to switch sizes. The only reason my feet would get cold is cause the way i tie them is loose so i could just slip them on and off and the would sweat would make me feel colder.

Ordered one size smaller as recommended in a narrow and they fit great. I walk 4-5 miles daily with my young Kelpie in the wooded hills nearby. These boots are perfect when it rains and are more comfortable than I imagined.

I love my Bean boots. They are comfortable, functional, and look good. I normally wear a size 9, so I ordered an 8, and they fit perfectly.

I've been wearing this type of boots for years, wear them year round, usually last about one year but last pair I'm going on 2 1/2 years, they are worn out but still able to wear. I like product a lot, will continue to purchase as long as I can. Maybe 30 or more years.

Always wanted a pair of these boots. It took a few purchase and exchanges to get the right fit. They are comfortable, waterproof, well made, just enough flexibility to where they aren't so stiff when walking. Definitely need a little thicker sock than normal to help cushion the fit. I would totally recommend these boots to anyone. I wear mine every time it rains and every time we are camping and they are easy to clean.

I have been wearing various models of this shoe for over 45 years. They are comfortable andcompletely waterproof. I spend a lot of time outdoors gardening and always wear some model of this boot/shoe. My highest recommendation.

Much has been written about the quality of these boots. I think the quality is great. I purchased the unlined boot originally in a size 10 based on the sizing recommendation to go half-size down unless wearing heavy socks. I normally wear a 10.5 mens shoe. The boot was extremely large so I exchanged for a 9 and it fits well even with a typical thermal sock. This allows for light to medium socks. Medium being what I would wear while downhill skiing or wearing snow boots. The note they provide about heavy socks and sizing seems like it's focused on pretty extreme environments (I say this as someone living in Boston who has spent a lot of time in the Sierras and Rockies). Only other note is that these will take some breaking in.

I did have to order 1 size smaller than normal. They fit and wear great. Always wanted a pair but never bought them. Wish I would have bought them a long time ago.

This is the third time I've had these Bean Boots resoled (new rubber bottoms, new insoles & laces). I bought the boots in 1970 (when the Bean store was a two story "barn") in the early hours, 2 or 3 AM, on our way to Baxter State Park. The boots served me well on that trip and a multitude of adventures since then....lots of memories in those boots ! This most recent repair is excellent, superior workmanship..Thank you Eric! (I think). Repair done faster than expected. Feels good to have them back on my feet. P.S I have two other pair of Bean Boots in different heights. Thank you LL Bean.

As everyone else has recommended, order 1 to 1.5 sizes down from your normal size. I purchased these boots prior to a trip to Denver. My first day there was around 15 degrees with a lot of snow. Wearing just these boots and a pair of wool socks, my feet stayed plenty warm and dry. Overall, very comfortable.

Normal size is an 8.5 - 9 and the 8 fits perfect!
