I live in west central Arkansas. This jacket is just perfect for me. Lightweight and warm.

I've had this jacket for a month now. It's very light weight and the outer fabric is on the shiny side. I'll comment on the warmth of this jacket. To me, it has the right warmth for our southern Missouri winters. This jacket will keep you warm on a winter walk with just a long sleeve shirt underneath. For temperatures between say, 10 and above with no wind, you'll stay warm. Add a 10 mph or above breeze and you might feel a little chilled. Temperatures above 20 with wind, you should be just fine. At temperatures above 30, you might be too warm. To the designer's credit, it has a YKK zipper too.

I was skeptical about whether or not the jacket would keep me warm since it was so light. Happy to say, it did not disappoint. It is surprisingly warm for the cold Winter days in PA.
