Short and boxy not very flattering or comfortable but did have nice color and fabric but returned

After one wash it wrinkled terribly. Material is very stiff.

I liked the pattern of this hoodie and wanted to like the fit as well. Unfortunately, it was simultaneously both too large and too small, being tight through the shoulders, short through the sleeves, and baggy in the torso. Despite the size being labeled regular, it appears that LL Beans clothing is designed for women with narrow shoulders, thinner arms, and more ample torsos in general. Because I like the brand I was hoping to avoid this problem with some short sleeved pajamas I later bought. They just arrived and I'm experiencing the same problem with a tight fit through the shoulders and no fit through the torso. Not sure that I will risk any more purchases of clothing from LL Bean.

Available only in "relaxed" sizes, so there is no size that fits properly. Looks nice, seems nicely made, doesn't fit.

It did not zip correctly and it shrunk after washing it (the arms actually shrunk and became to short). I liked it, but ended up returning it. I did end up getting a new one in a slightly larger size and I will not put this one into the dryer. With the new one the zipper works much better, and the arms length is good.

Slightly disappointed. Thin material, wrinkles easily. I've had other LLBean flannels and the quality of this one is much lower.

The zipper sticks all the time and i have to fight to get out of my shirt.

I was mostly loving this flannel hoodie in the Angus plaid before I washed it, and then the whole relationship fell apart. It was noticeably shrunken and wrinkled after drying, the already too-stiff zipper became even more ornery and wavy, especially when seated, where it just bunches up, and the fabric lost whatever softness it had. It no longer hangs nicely on the body and it feels too tight at the hips when I sit down. At this point, the only thing I still love is the color. By way of contrast, my husband bought the men's button-down shirt in the Blackwatch plaid at the same time, and we washed them both for the first time in the same load of laundry, and his not only didn't shrink or wrinkle, but the fabric is noticeably thicker and softer than mine. What a disappointment. I'll be sending this back.

Ok so I washed and dried according to the label and yet again ll bean's lack of preshrunk cotton means the zipper is now super wavy. I stopped buying the sweaters with zippers because of this and now the same for the flannel. No way should an O N flannel for $15 out perform in softness shrink and thickness.

I bought this hoodie a month ago, hoping it did not have the same problem the first time I bought one. I was hoping it fit differently than the first time I bought one. Unfortunately, it fits exactly the same as it did the first time. The front puffs up in the front, hanging on my body awkwardly. I hoped that washing would help, but that didn't change anything. Sending items back drives me nuts, but I guess I'll have to do it again. I've ordered the regular LL Bean flannel shirts before, and I've loved them. I'll exchange for one of those.

I bought the petite size as I am 4 11 and the sleeves were even a bit short on me. Plus, the zipper is defective. I'm going to buy it again in regular sizing b/c it is cute.

Super disappointed in this shirt. I have only worn it twice and it looks terrible. I don't recommend spending this kind of money on this.

This hoodie looks cute and feels comfortable on. However, I do have a problem with it. There is piling on the torso at both sides and on both sleeves on the torso side. I noticed it the second time I wore it. I have washed it twice after wearing according to the directions and hung it to dry. I never had any problems like this with other flannel shirts from LL Bean. What should I do?

Great fabric but the whole thing just not attractive ir comfortable

The cut of this flannel zip hoodie is not kind to those of us who have hips. I returned this and got another tunic, which is roomy and comfortable. Also, the flannel used on this hoodie was not as soft as that on the tunics.

I am really disappointed in the quality of this shirt. The plaid is lovely and it fits like a dream but the front plaid does not match. I asked my husband if he liked the shirt and the first thing he said was the plaid doesn't match. Also, just like a sweatshirt I ordered, the hood is huge. I mean really, really large. Too bad, back it goes. I am disappointed that I am not having much luck with LLBean lately.

Just received this flannel. I don't think the quality is poor however it's certainly not worth the price, ($79.00) for a thin flannel it's going back to LLBEAN.

Just received my flannel shirt today and I am very disappointed, it looks nothing like the pictures it is very faded. I ordered it in Royal Stewart Tartan to match my dogs coats I ordered last year from here, my dogs coats are a bright red and my shirt is very faded and looks like it has been washed hundreds of times nothing like the pictures. Not sure if this is how it is suppose to look but definitely does not look new.

This is really cozy and soft, but small. I upgraded to the tall size, hoping the arms would be longer. They were, until I washed and dryed it (on low). Now the arms are too short even in a tall size. I will have to send back unfortunately. Too bad, I really liked the material and pattern.

I have the blue, love it, but the quality control on the zipper is poor! Can't zip it up! I expected better out of LLB

I've had this for about 6 months and although it is comfortable, it is very unflattering due to the stiff zipper. The zipper is sewn sloppily along the abdomen area and results in a bulge that looks like a pregnant belly. I am a huge fan of L.L. Bean quality but would not purchase this particular item again.

Quality, size, etc was fine. What bothered me is the item was on sale rack and had price on red sale sticker. Later that day i discovered the sale price sticker was the same as regular price under sticker. Very disappointed LL would be this deceiving.

Picked the wrong plaid! The look does not compliment me.

For the price you pay you would expect it to be warmer and for it to wear better after just one wash. It already has pills on it. You know those little balls of material.... It is good looking. But this is probably better for a fall type of flannel. I don't really think it's flannel. You definitely need a t-shirt underneath it because you will be constantly pulling at your collar. I wouldn't buy another one of these and I wouldn't recommend them
