Cute utilitarian light jacket. I love the Bean Plaid. I added a cord through the bottom hem to make it "right". There is ample room in there. Take a cord with a large safety pin attached and draw it through! But, I think Bean should have done this up front.

Extremely comfortable,very soft,not like normal stiff flannel, can wear as a light jacket over t shirts. Would recommend and buy again.

I like that this hoodie can be worn as a light jacket or over a turtleneck as a layer. The fit is fine, not too loose, not too tight with a layer underneath. I just would have like it better if it was a few inches longer. I bought two over all. They wash well on cold an I hang to dry. I shape it wet to eliminate wrinkles.

The only thing I don't like about this shirt is at the bottom, it sticks out. Not sure if this is a good explanation or not.

This top is lightweight flannel and great for fall. With a t-neck, it might be good for winter, too.

I like the plaid hoodie, but for an LLBean product there are two things that need improvement. One, the plaids should match on the seams and two, there should be front seams to give it a little shape. The hoodie is too boxy.

Runs a little wide!

I love my new hoodie, the shirt itself fits a little larger than I expected. I had tried on an xl, which i normally wear, in the store and it wasn't as roomie/comfortable as I wanted which is why I ordered the 1x. It is fuller in the middle - but is fine as I plan to wear over another t-shirt and still want room. The only reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is that the flannel is pulling a bit in a few areas.

This is my new "favorite shirt." I did not realize that it was more of a jacket than a tunic but intend to wear it as a tunic anyway. Because it is a jacket (zipper extends the full length of the top) it is a little bulky in the mid-section. If the zipper were a half-zip it would be perfect.

I loved this hoodie but had to wait 1 year to order it in petite. This is not the first item that I have had this problem with an item.

I usually don't consider flannels as they are usually scratchy. I loved the plaid so went to the store to try it. It was very soft so I decided to take it. I got a size smaller than normal because I like a more fitted look.

This is a well made and warm hoodie but I wish it was longer to provide more coverage of my bottom. Although I initially ordered it in a petite x-small (I am 5'1", 92 lbs), I exchanged it for a petite small, hoping it would be longer but not the case.

When I first saw the listing for this hooded flannel shirt, I instantly thought I had to have it. Flannel + hoodie? Finally someone had a great idea! I originally purchased this in a large and thought it was a too baggy so I ordered a medium to compare. These definitely run a size larger. I normally wear a large (5'7" 175lb). The fit is comfortable. The slightly thicker material is a great quality. I feel like the look and wear of it feels more like a jacket than a traditional flannel shirt though. The cut across the front is very straight, I assume to accommodate the zipper. The back dips a bit in the cut, but not enough to cover the rear. There are pockets that are located to each side that are excellent - nice and deep and at the right angle to comfortably rest your hands. All of these add up to more than a shirt though - should be titled as a shirt-jacket not just flannel shirt. In regards to shipping. It took about a week and a half for each order to arrive. I decided to return the large and keep the medium. I used the LLBean return process online and chose the paid USPS return shipping option. Printed by label and mailed it off. Unfortunately I was never emailed any documentation of my return and my package was never received on their end nor can they look up shipping info from their label generator on the website. I'm now out $50 for trying out this shirt/jacket. So be very careful when initiating a return if you pick the wrong size.

This shirt is very soft and comfortable. My only complaint is that shirts at L.L.Bean don't come in Tall sizes. Because of my long arms, I had to get an X-Large, when a medium would have fit otherwise! L.L.Bean, you would be doing a great service if you began to offer Tall sizes in your shirts!

When I saw this flannel hoodie I knew it would ba a great addition to my wardrobe. I got a medium and it has room enough to go over other shirts. Great for cool day walks. The zipper is so handy. I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars only because it is a bit more "boxy" than I thought it would be; however, still very happy with product.

I love that this flannel zips up and has a hood. It looks good and is a lovely midweight layer. My only problem with it is that it is too big even though I ordered a small. I haven't washed the shirt yet, so it may shrink a bit.

Excellent for Fall layering. Did shrink a little when washed. I did wash it is cold and laid it flat to dry. I will probably order another in a different color but may go to a large. The color options are wonderful.

Love the jacket. Perfect for a cool fall day in New England. A little loose but that's ok to be able to layer.

I bought this in a small for my 5' 6" 115 lb frame. The fit was good, room for layering, quality was nice and I liked the leather on the zipper pull. Length and weight were all nice. The one thing I did not like were the colors. Bean of Freeport Hunting had a Christmas red, green, blue, and yellow in it. Thought I would like it from the computer screen but when it arrived it reminded me of Christmas wrapping paper so I returned it. These colors were not for me but others may like it.

I love flannel abd was excited to see this item, and it seems to be excellent quality, although I would like it to be a little longrt. I'd like to see llbean offer tall sizes. Also, it's unflattering, as the bottom is too wide. I'm trying to decide if I'll take the time to alter it or send it back

Love this hoodie! Material is super comfortable, and I love the flannel pattern. It is a little boxy towards the bottom. Almost wish it had an adjustable drawcord to pull it in tigheter, but definitely still fits well! I will definitely be wearing it all fall.

I ordered this to use up a few of my coupons. The reviews I read said it was tight in the arms and shoulders and big around the bottom, so I ordered an XLarge for that reason, and because I thought it might shrink. The shoulders are roomy and I can extend my arms with no binding. It is rather large around the bottom, but if it is still like that after I wash it once, I will just take it in a little on the sides. This is a soft, super-comfy shirt and the hood is nice if you just want to run out to the mailbox or something. I'm sort of wishing I'd just ordered the Large, but there's no guarantee it would be as comfortable as this one.

Love the colors and material. Very high quality. The plaids all match up on the sides, etc. But I ordered my regular size and it would have held two of me (they do clearly say "relaxed"). I also don't like how when it is unzipped, that the pockets (which are tacked at the top of the pocket to the edge of the zipper) flop into view. I wish the pockets were completely sewn down. They would look nicer when the shirt is unzipped and be less of a risk of catching on something and ripping. I ordered a smaller hoodie to see if it fits better. Truly a beautiful shirt.
