Great quality. Love the nice change from the usual loose button-up flannel. Relaxed but also streamlined style that can layer over or under other clothes. LOVE the pockets. 5'9, 135, 34D and my usual Small fits perfectly.

I just received my Dress Gordon, Small, I bought the Colquhoun also Small awhile ago, they are so beautiful! Highly recommend, true to size, beautiful workmanship, fits perfect, 5'5" 105 lbs, length is perfect, about hip area, covers so leggings will work perfectly! I love every thing about this Hoodie, they are both my favorite flannel shirt/hoodie, perfect weight of flannel, plenty of room for layering a shirt or sweater easily. As soon as I saw this Hoodie, ordered the Colquhoun, had to back order the Dress Gordon, worth everyday of waiting. I am so set for Fall, Winter, Spring, & cool Summer nights! Tysm LLB, HOME RUN, 10 STARS IN EVERY ASPECT OF THIS HOODIE, & Customer Service Is Excellent, Wish I Worked For LLB, I Really Do!!! Love LLB!!!

I am in love with this, it's my favorite fall item! I've already washed it, and it's as wonderful after washing as it was before. Perfect fit, I've layered it over a t-shirt and waffle henleys. The inside pockets are handy and the outside pockets don't add bulk to the hips like some do. Overall I am so pleased with this I have to keep myself from buying more in other colors (only because this (Gordon) is the only color I'd wear much!). I hope this is an item that stays in rotation at LLBean!

I love everything about this hoodie/shirt/jacket. The flannel is a perfect medium weight, buttery soft, and in a classic, rich plaid. It is very well made, with nice finishing details like a fabric sewn on the hem and a leather zipper pull. Generous sizing. I am 5'7", 130 pounds and a medium gives me plenty of room to layer. I could have gone small for a more fitted look. This is Bean at its best.

Just received my shirt in victoria stewart yesterday, washed and dried it ready to wear today for a book club and assorted errands. I love it, it laundered well, is quite heavy, in fact it could pass for a light weight jacket, but today started off in the 40s so it wasn't warm enough for that. I got the medium because I wanted to layer it over tees, and at 5'4" and 124lb. it works perfectly. It's a little stylish with the slight dip in the hem, I got several comments on it already. Good job Bean!

WOW!!! This is like enveloping yourself in warm soft butter. I bought the gray and love it! It has large kangaroo front pockets like a zip up sweatshirt (but not stitched on the front, but rather sewn behind) so it lays flat and It is not lined, so it doesn't add bulk. The sleeves are just like the standard flannel sleeve shirts with buttons so they can be cuffed or open or closed. This will be my go to instead of my cotton sweater or regular sweatshirt this fall. Several things I love about this hoodie- 1. So soft and comfy. It just feels great. 2. Fits perfectly. I'm 5'5" and wear an XL. This has a great cut, not too baggy, and not so fitted that I feel like a sausage zipped up in it. Also the sleeves aren't too long, which isn't always the case for large sizes on people of average height. 3. The plaid is gorgeous. Such a classic look. 4. My husband likes it so much that he thinks I should buy another one for when this one wears out. Okay then!

love the plaid shirt/hoodie--lightweight but warm. Very comfortable and I appreciate the zipper instead of buttons---I usually wear a t-shirt underneath. I can always depend on LLBean for a well-made article.

I purchased this flannel hoodie as an added layer my to outdoor fall wardrobe. This flannel hoodie is amazing., I love everything about it. The flannel is high quality, soft with beautiful vibrate color, I ordered the gray. The color really goes with anything, teal, green, burgundy, black , red etc. The zipper is also high quality and works very well, it is roomy enough to easily wear under a long sleeved t shirt. I would highly recommend this flannel shirt/jacket. I plan on ordering more for Christmas gifts.

I LOVE this flannel hoodie! It is just the right weight (very light) and very soft. The pockets are large and functional. The leather tabs are a nice touch. I only wish it came in more varied colors-- if it did, I might order another one!

I own several LL Bean flannel shirts and this is my new favorite. First, the material is soft and comfortable. It is also lighter weight than some of my other LL Bean flannel shirts and this is exactly what I wanted for layering. Second, the relaxed fit means that I can easily wear other shirts under it based on weather conditions. Third, the zipper and hood make it unique. I looked at flannel shirts in other stores but was less impressed with the material, fit and workmanship.

I recently purchased this hoodie in size large regular in the colquhoun (blue). I normally wear a L to XL petite, depending on how fitted the item is. The L reg. fits beautifully, except for the sleeve length being too long (I am 5'2-1/2" tall). I will roll the sleeves. Everything else about the item, I love. The pockets are terrific, the zipper is high quality, the taping on the inside of the hem reinforces the bottom of the shirt, helping to make it feel more like a light jacket, the curved him is nice, and the flannel is baby-blanket soft. The blue color is the prettiest, most flattering flannel I have ever seen. (I am blonde/gray with blue eyes, so it suits me perfectly.) I laundered it and slightly dried it on very low in the dryer, took it out and let it finish drying on a hanger. I absolutely love it, and cannot wait for cooler weather to wear it. It is plenty roomy for layering. I would love to see it in a petite for us shorties, and a pale pink/light gray plaid would be lovely. Thank you, LLB, for this delightful item of clothing. Yes, the raves are justified, so add mine to the list!

I ordered Dress Gordon (love the way it looks) in my usual size Medium (5'4" 132#). True to size, washed perfectly - no shrinkage. I like everything about it. The pockets are large and placed just right. I like the curved hem. I'm glad the back isn't longer than the front. I noticed there is material sewn around the inside hem. I think this is to keep it from rolling up. I think the hood is perfect unlike a couple of other reviewers. Can't wait for our weather to cool off so I can wear this!

Love my new flannel shirt. Great to throw on with some jeans or just wear when there's a chill in the air. I like the lightweight feel of it, the zipper and hood. It also has two great pockets, and who doesn't love pockets. Just a great piece of clothing.

This is so attractive and fits beautifully. It has a nice length hem, slight smile to hem. It has a nice generous fit to accomodate tops underneath. Came out of dryer looking beautiful. More fabrics to choose from !!!

I have been searching for this type of Flannel FOREVER! I found one similar at a teeny-bopper store (and being in my early 20s I could make it work) but, the product quality was poor. This is THE P-E-R-F-E-C-T flannel, great quality sturdy zipper, so cozy - I will probably be ordering another one. I am 5'7" about 150lbs (but, very muscular) I ordered a medium and while it fits in the bust area is a hair big in the mid-section. I love it loose and for relaxing however, am considering my next one being a small.

I'm a flannel fanatic, so I have many of LLB's scotch plaid flannels, but decided to give this one a try to change it up from the style of all my other button-down flannels. I am so glad I gave it a try! It's so soft and cozy, just like their other scotch plaid flannels, but the zipper, relaxed fit and hood make it feel even more so! The pockets are perfectly placed in the front of the jacket, versus the side-seam pockets of the Rangeley Camp Performance Flannel, which are a little awkwardly placed in my opinion. Another pocket feature that delighted me were the interior pockets, which are nice and roomy for carrying extra items. The hood is a little too deep, as other reviewers have noted, but it's still nice to have in Seattle, so I'm sure it will get plenty of use. I will definitely purchase another of these jackets!

Love almost everything about this shirt. Quality and fit--a rarity these days. Love the hood, pockets, sturdy zipper. Please, please, please offer it in tall--I am afraid that it will shrink in the wash and break my heart. I am 5'8", skinny, with long arms and if I go a size larger to accommodate shrinkage, I will be wearing an XL, and I think three of me could fit in an XL. Large tall would be terrific.

I totally agree with all the comments of the other reviewers and am giving this shirt 5 stars even though I'm returning it. At 5 feet and needing a medium to get around my ampleness, the length of the misses regular is just too much especially in the sleeves - one roll I expect to have to do, 2 rolls is just too bulky. (But if you can wear a small, give it a try.) So LL Bean, please offer this in petite!!!

As other reviewers have stated, this is the perfect flannel. The material is soft and substantial, the pockets are round and deep and the zipper is heavy enough for the shirt/jacket. I bought the Stewart color and like it a bunch so I went back and ordered another. Please, please, do not change or discontinue this.

At last LLBean designed a feminine piece of clothing made with its wonderful heavy flannel Scotch plaid flannel. I agree with the writer who liked the rounded hem and no pockets on the chest. The pockets on the bottom are all we need. I bought mine in "Colquhoun" which is a very attractive tartan, and may buy another. I am 150 lbs. and take a large, but I will dry it in the dryer where it will shrink a little bit.

I love this shirt. It is a perfect fit, the material is soft and colors are beautiful. I love the style and versatility. I plan to get another in a different color.

I fell in love with this hooded shirt at a Bean store in Rochester, NY, where a terrific store employee located the size I needed. (She also brought along extra sizes and colors from the store room. What a gem!) Everything about this product is perfect. The front pockets are deep enough to hold a phone or other valuables and the material is so soft.

The quality of this shirt/jacket is a forty on a scale of one to ten. The weight is fantastic,the color outstanding,and the fit is perfect. The added bonus of a hood, pockets inside and out,and a zipper is the frosting on the cake. I love that it has a curved hem,also. I can not say enough good things about this. The designer should be given a raise!!! I can wear this many ways. It will be great with jeans and khakis. I can hardly wait for cooler weather just to wear it. Thank-you!
