Tall ladies, get ready for the too short sleeves. I bought a size up from my usual at LL Bean (I'm 5'11" and 130 lbs and bought a small) but the sleeves were still bracelet length on me. Not what I want for a cozy pullover! Everything else about this was great - I liked the material and the red color I bought was beautiful - but the sleeves were enough to send it back. I wish this came in tall sizes!

I have another fleece pullover, bought some years ago, which is a much better fit! This one, just purchased, is longer and tighter than my other one. Thus, not as comfortable, and I plan to return it when I get a chance. The pandemic has kept me at home, and I want to be comfortable in my clothes. This item does not fill the bill

Pros: great workmanship, nice detailing, good color (sailcloth), cozy and warm, very neat-looking. Cons: hard to get on and off. I thought the Large was the wrong size, so I ordered an XLarge to compare but it looked sloppy and the shoulders were too large, so I kept the Large. I just need to remember ....once I put it on, don't try to take it off in a hurry!!

THE PRODUCT IS VERY WARM AND LOVE THE COLOR. THE SIZE DOES NOT ALLOW ANY ROOM FOR MOVEMENT. I WISH I WOULD HAVE ORDERED A LARGE. WE WERE TRAVELING AND I WAS UNABLE TO SEND IT BACK IN AN TIMELY MANNER FOR AN EXCHANGE OF SIZE.

Really like the colors, but not the fit. I purchased a size small, but had difficulty getting it on, since the neck opening is not long enough. Exchanged it for a medium petite, but had the same problem. Front button opening needs to be longer and the fit is quite boxy. Finally returned both sizes.

I have had several of these fleece over the years. Once the new colors came out I had to have the purple one even if was only July. Well, I have worn this 3 times and it is all ready showing wear in the front, starting to pill. This should not happen after 3 wearings. I have blue, red, burgundy, oatmeal and the greenish one that are much older then the purple one. Not sure if a different manufacturer but very much disappointing in this color. My rating is not for the over all product is just the color purple.

Too form fitting for mature figure

I originally ordered a coat in medium which was massive so I sent it back for a small that fits perfectly. I then ordered this in a small to wear under that coat. I wish I wasn't so quick to throw the tags away or I would have sent it back. The shoulders and arms holes are way too tight before washing, even with just a tank top under. The sleeves are also pretty short on me. This seems like it's only made for shorter women

I have the sweater fleece in all the zip-up styles and like them, so I bought this style in Adobe Rose. The color is lovely, kind of a coral shade. I will be returning this, though, because I can't take it off without whatever I'm wearing under it coming off too. Maybe sizing up would help, but since I know the zip styles work, I may just reorder this color in another style. The collar is seriously stiff on several of the styles, but I can live with it if all other features are okay.

Wore this shirt couple times really happy with my purchase. Good quality!

It's too short and the collar isn't comfortable but I like the color and pockets I should have ordered and xl

I purchased this pullover a couple months ago and initially I loved it... but then I washed it. I don't do anything unusual with my washing... everything is always done with cold water and medium heat in the dryer. This pullover shrunk up to nothing. I'm writing this review a couple months after purchase because I just found it at the back of my closet this morning and I'm so sad that I only got to wear it a couple of times. So, if you want to avoid being so sad after buying this, order a size up because it absolutely will shrink up to nothing :( Size issues aside, it's a great pullover. Cozy, soft, not itchy. I wish I could wear it! If it hadn't shrunk, it would have been 5 stars. Would be great if they could have pre-shrunk the fibers but oh well.

I have never had anything from LL Bean before so I ordered a medium, which is the size I typically wear. This shirt ended up being huge on me! It was also very bulky and too large/wide in the arms. It was not at all slimming or flattering. When I first opened it, I thought they had accidentally sent me the wrong size. Unfortunately I will be returning.

Growing up in Maine LL Bean was my go to for quality clothes that would last for years under general use. I loved the color of this sweater and based on the reviews I thought it would be worth the money. However, after the first wash the sweater pilled all over. Not simply where the fabric rubs together, i.e. under the arms but across the front and back as well. I've been very disappointed.

Purchased sweater, nice but fit too big, exchanged it for petite small. New size a bit large and sleeves short when arms raised. So I decided to return both item in one bag with 2 labels. When I talked to customer service they said they only received one item. That leaves me paying for a sweater that I never kept. This also says that the employe who received my return probably kept one item, instead of making note of it or contacting me. That says a lot of the employees and company. If this doesn't get resolved, I will never order from them again. Beware customers!

I bought this at the end of the season last winter. I don't even think I wore it once until the last few months. I love the feel and how it looks on me but it has pilled up terribly. It's only the bottom half that is "damaged" and every time I wear it I have to get my scissors out to try and cut that stuff off!

This runs small so I had to size up to plus size and the other issue I have is the sleeves are extremely long, like for someone at least 6'0 or taller. I wear many plus size brands and this is one of the only where I have issues with sleeves being too long. I wish llbean would come out with a plus size petite for us short people or reconfigure the sleeves and pant lengths.

We live in a house where the upstairs is hot and the downstairs cool, so removing a sweater when upstairs is a frequent occurrence. This material is cozy and warm, but it doesn't stretch as much as wool or fleece and it's a major exercise to pull it over one's head. I purchased PETITE Medium.

I ordered petite xs and the cut is rather generous, a little too roomy for me. It's a thick fleece and it does look like a sweater knit and it seems to be well made. I think it will be warm.

The fleece pullover was a bit small. It was difficult to put on and to take off. I am returning it.

The shirt is beautiful in style and color. However, when I tried it on I could barely get it over my head. It was unbuttoned all the way but still a chore trying to get on. The fit was ok but I'd have to restyle my hair each time I put it on. I returned it to my local store and purchased a full zip sweat shirt which I love!

The sweater material and inside fleece where really soft and comfortable, but the collar was stiff and uncomfortable. I ended up returning it.

The size I bought was appropriate. No flexibility, no give, too tight and constricting. Very warm though. Not what I expected based on past experiences with LLBean fleeces. What happened to the flexible fleece?

The shoulders are narrow and the collar is quite tall.

Nice fleece sweater but the collar does not fold down and I don't like mock turtle neck nor turtle neck tops -
