Warm and true to size. I didn't care for the fit personally though

I ordered the Regular Large Sweater Fleece Full-Zip Jacket for me and this Petite Large Sweater Fleece Pullover for my 99 year-old Midwestern Mom to wear inside as she is often cold. The Petite Large Pullover actually fit me better than the Regular Large even though I am 5 ft. 7 in. and 149 lbs. The sleeves of the Petite Large were only a little longer than necessary and the pullover was not so clingy in the hips as the Full-Zip Jacket. I preferred the straight hemline in the back of the pullover as compared to the extended "shirt-tail" hemline of the full-zip jacket. But, I need a full-zip jacket for layering in the outdoors. The Petite Large sleeves would have been too long and and the hip area too snug for Mom, so I returned this pullover. Unfortunately, the Full-Zip Jacket I ordered was too clingy for me.

I love everything from Bean but this sweater fleece, not so much. I always wear an XL in other brands, in Bean its got to be 1X because they tend to focus on making clothes for petite little women and not real women. So I got the 1X, loved it at first sight, put it on and my husband started laughing, which lead me to laugh. The sweater fleece was uber short, the sleeves from the elbow down were like bell sleeves. And the chest, you would of thought I put on a children's top. Im going to chalk this up to Bean having a sense of humor but this sweater is going back, real fast. Just disappointed I have to pay to ship it. Bean, please check your products better before selling them! Thank you!

This just arrived today and I tried it on. I ended up thinking I would have to call a neighbor to get me get out of it. I am large-busted and the bias tape binding on the hem has no give whatsoever, so I had an awful time pulling it back over my torso and head. I like this pullover otherwise, so I spent the afternoon removing the bias tape from hem and sleeves and will do some hand stitching to secure them. I will also follow the suggestion of another reviewer and remove the flashy LL Bean label on the front. I am sure part of the price I paid has already been directed to your advertising budget. All things, considered, a nice and warm top that required some revisions.

wish the arms had more room, weren't so tight, not all of us have skinny little arms

The trim color is a little too dark and the fit is a little baggy.

Excellent quality and nice color, but I just couldn't figure out what to do with the high collar, so it went back. If you are looking for something to layer and wear outdoors, it might be fine. It just reminded me of that 80's GQ turned up polo collar look. More in the way than functional for my liking.

For fleece, it's not very soft. It's ok for warmth.

It is warm and mostly comfortable but is a shorter than I would like it to be. I feel like it runs a little small.

Great color, and material of nice quality. Fits a bit snug, however.

We bought two of these and like them. They are comfortable and look great. But they are VERY difficult to get on and off. My wife has dementia and I have to help her, and it's a job getting it over her head. I feel even non-impaired folks would have trouble with this. Once on, it fits well and she like it, as does everyone who sees her in it. But on and off are the pits.

The fleece is inside and the outside is woven so this isn't your traditional fleece pullover. The fabric is stiffer than plain fleece, so not what I was expecting. It is nicely warm though.

Outside isn't nice and soft - kind of rough and itchy

It is heavy- felt a little too contained so am sending it back- unfortunately it was very good looking- it fit but maybe needed it bigger

I totally loved this pullover. It is comfortable, cosy, and very warm during this cold Wisconsin winter. The problem I have is the collar. It rubs against my neck and is very uncomfortable. I tried to train the collar to lie down, but it insists on standing up, which is the design, I'm sure. So I regretfully had to return it.

This garment is very warm and medium weight. It is comfortable because it stretches with movement. Unfortunately, the fit is more like a tunic and did not work for my petite frame.

Great style. Great fit. We've had it for about 2 weeks but the seam got loose became undone. Usually not the norm since we love your brand because of quality. Guess I will have to take a trip to return it, because we usually don't experience that with this brand

It's well made and warm, my only complaint is that I wish there were several more snaps for greater ease pulling it off and on. It's also a tighter fit in my upper back than the rest of the pullover. I'm 5'2"and a slim build.

The material isn't soft as advertised. It is stiff. The sweater is heavy.

The sweater is okay, but I rated it only 3 stars because a similar one I bought either last year or year before is better. The older one is roomier, the fabric is softer, I love it and wear it a lot. This one is much tighter in the shoulders and sleeves. It has a trimmer cut overall, and the fabric is not as soft and sweatshirty as before. I kept it because I presumed it would be the same fit and softness and took off the tags too soon. If I had realized, I would have returned it.

I like the material, but the sizing was small. Bought it for a trip so didn't have time to send it back. I can still wear it, but not as roomy and comfortable as my other LL bean jackets in the same size. It is very warm, definitely traps the heat in.

Love the jacket has true fitting sizes but the LLBean label was upside down, haha Wich is fine but LLBean is expensive so I'm sure most people expect detail. This could happen to any product. Still loving my LLBean purchases.

Size seems a little small. I'm afraid it will shrink when washed and be way too tight. Otherwise love it for comfort and warmth
