I purchased this two months ago. The front zipper is not stitched straight, and has a noticeable curve to it. This affects the fit negatively, and makes the collar fit weird. I'm bummed that I can't send this back because I did not notice this until after the tags were off and I had worn it.

Received this item as a gift. The size is the one I always buy from Bean's. The sleeves are absurdly and annoyingly long

Lightweight and durable. Probably best for use during activities like hiking. On its own it offers little warmth and zero wind protection. Not what I expected from a product with sweater in name

Fit is poor. Arms are tight and torso is bulky. I am 6'1 and 175ls. Purchased the same product in different color a couople of years ago (at the same height and weight) and it fit great. Too much inconsistency in sizing.

This doesn't taper and doesn't hang straight down, but actually opens up larger at the bottom. Nice thick, warm material. Might be nice for someone with extra-extra large girth, but not me.

I've had this for about a year and really liked it (and the vest) but the zippers have broken on all of them. Looking for a better quality option

I have noticed a significant issue with my fleece from L.L. Bean recently. There appears to be an adhesive between the inner and outer layers of a jacket that has caused them to adhere together, resulting in a very wrinkled appearance that I cannot seem fix. This problem started after my last wash, despite always following L.L. Bean's recommended care instructions. The adhesive has compromised the jackets, aesthetic appeal and functionality, making it unwearable. I am a big customer with L.L. Bean and have many fleeces from them without any prior issues. I'm genuinely curious about the cause of this issue and hope that L.L. Bean can provide me insights into why this occurred. Give my positive history with their products, I'm also hopeful that they can offer me a replacement or solution to rectify this situation. Please see attached images, as you can see the layers are just stuck together despite me trying to separate them.

The fit is problematic. The XL is unusually large but the L is snug. I bought both and liked the color well enough to keep the L as a sweater and the XL as a spring or fall jacket

Moderate warmth nicely tailored jacket. The Pocket for my cell phone is very convenient

Product description indicated that the jacket was "slightly fitted". It was the opposite: narrow at the shoulders and large through the body/waist. Returned immediately.

My partner has several of these sweater fleece jackets and has loved them. I bought him a blue one for his birthday. After a couple of days of wearing it, it started to get wear on the back. It was noticeable because there was fuzzy areas. We returned it and decided to try it in a different color, green. The green one did the same thing so we returned it. We are so disappointed because the sweater fleece jackets had always been one of our favorites.

This Sweater Fleece is warm and fits nicely. However, It began pilling badly on the front and sleeves after about a week. At the $100.00 price level I felt that should never happen.

Loved this in the store. Had on a slippery polyester shirt and jacket slipped on easily. Tried it on again at home with any other type of shirt and could not get it on.

Severe piling on the sleeves and front after only a week, with normal daily wearing. Very disappointed with the quality of a $100 jacket

Had a previous LLbean fleece that was super soft and wear around the house. Bought this one as a replacement but the material is really rough polyester. It is not soft at all. Looks like i should have bought the trail fleece instead which is also cheaper.

A gift i ordered for my elderly father too big and not true to size i ordered him a regular and sleeves are too long.

This sweater fleece was a Christmas gift for my son. He is slim and the medium tall was too wide for him. Shoulders and sleeves were perfect. He returned it for another jacket that was cut slimmer and could be tightened around the bottom.

This was not a true fleece. It is more like a sweater material on the outside.

I first purchased an XL, but found it to be too roomy in the body. I exchanged it for a Large. The large fit well in the body and in the chest, but the sleeves were WAY TOO SNUG. This was very surprising, as I am a bit thick in the waist but not so much in the biceps. The sleeves are cut way too tight. Wearing this with any type of long sleeve shirt underneath was extremely uncomfortable. Mind you, the product description specifically states that the jacket is relaxed in the chest and sleeves. This is wrong. Also, why would LL Bean make this jacket ONLY in a slightly fitted version and not traditional fit? How can you possibly layer something underneath? Disappointing, as the quality appears to be excellent.

Sleeve holes seemed two sizes smaller relative to huge, tent-like mid-body cut. Like for a very fat-bellied guy with stick arms. So, it was both too large and too small. Fleece weight vs price very poor.

It's so well made. But the collar sticks up and rubs on your neck in a funny way. And that logo! Ugh. The logo. I really tried to love it, and I know it would have kept me warm as a mid layer. But I had to return it before I ever took it out. That logo!!

TITLE: LL Bean believes people with large stomachs all have extra long arms. It fit nicely in the middle, but the sleeves went to my last thumb nuckle.

The fleece in two weeks is pilling. I bought it from Zappos because LLBean was out of them. If we didn't need it, I would return it.

Sorry, as I love LL Bean but I do not like the tapered/fitted tops you make. I like the old style that was ma little bulky looking. I also did not like the color or the material. Returned

I bought this jacket in January 2018. Great fit for me and I loved the look of the fabric until it began to pile. After a short period it looks old because of the piling of the fabric. Very disappointed with this. Other than that, it's warm and fit me well. I hope that they improved the fabric since I purchased it. Would buy another except for the problem with piling!
