The shirt is warm and soft and substantial. Very disappointed when we got the shirt to find that the monogram had been done in dark blue thread on a dark shirt. Cannot see the monogram at all.

My son loves LLBean flannels! Softness is key. My only critique is because they are made of 100% cotton I don't think the wash instructions should say "tumble dry"! It shrunk in arms and width after one dryer session. They have no problem replacing it, so no harm no fowl, except for the extra time involved. Maybe they should put a warning on the website that it may be wise to buy one size larger than your normal size.

Well tailored, great colors, very comfy shirt.

Good quality, good fit, well made, comfortable. Flannel is a little more lightweight than I anticipated, but still serviceable. I would suggest your looking into a heavier weight flannel,and offering it as an option. With most of the textiles coming from China, spend a few more pennies and add it to your product line.

A little darker in person, but I like it. It makes me look more manly, if that's possible - whoa!

Like all LL Bean flannel shirts, this shirt is a good value. Soft, comfortable, washes well without shrinkage and fits well ( I wear a medium). I noticed that this shirt felt as though it had thinner hand than my other Bean flannel shirts. I checked and sure enough the flannel is slightly thinner. Hope this doesn't affect the life of the shirt.

I love the flanel shirts. The only complaint I have is that the collar wears out and gets ragged before the rest of the shirt wears out. I have two in that condition now. Cy

The best flannel and the best value, as usual from Bean. The colors are rich and true. I only put mine through the dryer the first time on delicate, thereafter I hang dry them. I have broad shoulders, and the shrinkage, though minimal, occurs.

Fondly recall these from my youth. Don't know what Bean was thinking discontinuing them but glad to see them back, and arguably better made.

The colors and feel of the fabric are wonderful. The construction is the high quality that I expect from LL Bean. I am sad to see that the fabric is thinner and not as warm as flannel shirts I have bought from LL Bean in the past. If you want a warm shirt stick with the chamois shirts.

As always this is a good fit and the feel is excellent. The order was backordered but final got here in time for birthday.

Was originally given this shirt as a gift back when I was in college and I loved it. Saw this one nearly a decade later and decided to get a new one. I have never been a fan of the button down collars, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. I just iron the collars thoroughly so that they lay flat. Otherwise, it fits me fine!

The size is good and looks great!

This shirt is very well made, fits great and is comfortable to wear and warm. The material is very soft and feels great when I have it on. The only thing I would change with the shirt is adding one more button towards the bottom of the shirt to keep the shirt from billowing out in the front when worn inside my pants.

It's just as described--soft, durable and Dress Gordon plaid I wanted that wasn't available in women's selection. I went with Men's medium. Probably should have chosen small. Love the long back. Only way to improve it is to offer it in women's sizes.

I like the shirt. Looks nice, is comfortable, it's been washed several times with no problems.

Bought two of these for my husband. He loves them. Great shirt but a little pricey for cotton flannel. He would like to buy more but will wait for a sale - hopefully! Great fit and fabric - definitely better quality than those I looked at in the mall but more expensive too.

Workmanship on shlirt is great however I found the sleeves to be slightly long for a shirt not being an extra tall.

This shirt is just the right weight for our mild Western Oregon winter weather. Wore it Sunday. I was told it was the third annual Wear Plaid to Church Sunday. Mine was the only Black Watch in the house. Great shirt. Very comfortable. Getting another one for to give as a gift.

As usually is the case, you get what you pay for with LLBean. This shirt is warm, comfortable and looks good. I read the fabric comes from Portugal. Wow! material produced by craftsmen. Thanks.

I purchased this as a Christmas Gift for my father, he wanted a light wieght flannel. I think it will be perfect and was available in several great colors.

Quality material and toasty warm in cold weather, under a jacket. I liked it so well, I ordered a second shirt, in a different pattern and considering a third. It came out of the wash with minimal shrinking and no loss of color. The 1st order was too large and the exchange was seamless.

he bought one 5 years ago, loved it so much it wore out. This new one looks great on him and very Christmasy with the Scotish Stewart plaid. he has a white beard which makes him look like a Santa and he wears a Santa hat on Christmas morning. Adorable!!
