These have been sitting in my favorites for a while now and of course Black Friday comes along and I have vans points expiring... yada yada yada... Ok so really I was SO curious to compare these with the regular slip ons because I am such a fan of the SKATE version of all vans I have tried. I have no regrets, they are great straight out of the box. I really wanted to know how they would feel and I am sure I will get more in the future.

So I am a new skater, and this are the first Vans I got. I love them, they fit perfectly and the soles are really soft. Also they feel very grippy and overall really good.

I've been wearing Vans since I was in Jr High. I have a pair of original Old Skool shoes I got last year and they are great, comfortable, typical Vans. I was recently looking for a new pair of Old Skools in a different color and the guy at the store recommended the Skate Old Skool version over the original so I bought them, went home, and compared them to the originals. Both are great. The first thing I noticed is that the Skate version is slightly wider, which is good for me because the original is slightly narrow for me, but not so much that it is uncomfortable. The other thing I noticed is that the soles of the Skate version are firmer. Comparatively, they both feel good to me. The originals are very soft and flexible and very comfortable, almost like slippers. The Skate version feels more like an athletic shoe. The Skate version has a contoured removable insole and the soles are much more supportive under your feet. The originals sit very flat in the heel and the Skate version is a little more raised up like an athletic shoe. Though I like them both, I think the Skate version is a good modern improvement over the original and brings them in line with what a quality athletic shoe should be today.

I have worn the normal slips on for decades. I tried these and was very surprised the extra comfort didn't come with much bulk.

The popcush insole is a game changer. Same classic look, more comfort and support.

I have worn Vans since the early 80's, which means I'm not young anymore. Regular Vans are not friendly to my feet. Skate vans have solved this.

10.5 fit great (true to size), comfy in minutes, great insole! Not sure what the negatives comments are all about. I'm stoked on them.

True to size. Heel a little stiff. Gotta break that in. Other than that very comfortable.

I love these new slip ones. Super comfy and fits perfectly. My everyday wear pair of shoes.

Like'em because they aren't so narrow. From the minute I tried them on they just felt great. They slip on but they are secure feeling.

However, these shoes are way more comfortable. The cushion and support is spot on! A little big, I could have gotten an 8 1/2 but socks uses up the extra space.

This is my first "skate" van model I have owned, and man, I can safely say I have been missing out! These are so absurdly comfortable that I am already looking into getting another one or two pairs, lol! The "popcush" insert is mad comfy, its also removable so if you have another orthopedic insert you like to use then you dont have to deal with ripping/cutting the existing insert out just to use something else like you do with normal vans. The build quality is also really good! I've owned a lot of other vans in the past, but these ones are clearly built a bit better for their higher price tag. I definitely recommend everyone try out a pair for themselves sometime because these are 100x times more comfortable than normal vans.

The neon green is a great accent on the all black design. One of the longest lasting slip-ons I've owned. In my experience, if you plan on skating this shoe I'd suggest not sizing up and ordering true to size. The break-in is brutal (the worst out of all the skate classics I own), but once the shoe molds to the shape your feet and the vulc drops down, your feet will have room to enjoy the popcush insole and still be snug enough not to slip off your feet when pushing on your board for the life of your shoe. Only size up if you'll be using this for casual wear only.

Been wearing vans my whole life can't beat the classic slip on. Pop cush sole is comfy and no foot pain.

I use these slipons in the gym for weight training and cardio...I like my shoes snug so I add arch supports for added support and snuggness

I wear these anytime I don't have to go to work, and want something comfortable on my feet.

I have been wearing Vans Slip-Ons for 40 years? Have you guys been around that long? early-mid 80's... These Pop Cush are the bomb for comfort. My 2nd pair. Alot of cush, arch support, comfort than the standard slip-ons! Love 'em.

I use to size up because Vans were so narrow, they fit so much better now, comfortable and light. Gotta go with the skate models, they're way more cozy!

Wear these everyday when I'm not working

I can wear these at work, on the street or at the gym. Perfect buy.
