I have worn literally 100's of pairs of vans in my life, including many slip-ons. These popcushion insoles are great and I hope I can break these in, but the design of the back of the shoe is taller than on most slip-on vans and VERY stiff. I have huge blisters on the back of both heels after wearing these for just a couple hours. I will try to break them in but I'm really sad because they look and feel great otherwise.

I know shoes need to break in, but did they not put as much padding on these around the ankle area? I was on the verge of a blister on day one of wearing these. They look great and the pop cush is very nice - these have always been my go-to shoes - but this time they hurt! Otherwise 5 stars.

Please bring back the comfycush!!!! I quit wearing vans years ago because the cuff of the shoe would rub into my ankle creating a sore and was very uncomfortable but I've always loved the look and function of the slip on. The comfycush was the answer to this problem and was/is super comfortable and doesn't irritate my ankle. I recently bought the popcush hoping it wouldn't have the dreaded ankle eating cuff on it and as I expected it rubbed my ankle raw and is very uncomfortable, i continue to reach for my old worn out comfycush pair while they hang on to their last thread of life. Great shoes, great company , great shipping and service this is my only gripe.

They seem to run a little bit small, they're also really stiff and uncomfortable out of the box. Really hoping they break in soon.

I've owned Vans most of my life, currently I have 5 slip ons. While these are a little thicker being skate shoes, they seem tighter on my feet than my usual size. Also this has never happened with any of my Vans before but the back of my heels both have blisters/cuts from them. I'm a little disappointed with that. I was looking for slightly more support so I got the skate version. I won't be buying those again.

I normally wear a size ten but I got a 10.5 and they fit pretty snug. I wore them for a day hoping they're stretch outdo dice. After that figured I couldn't exchange or return.
Order at least size larger

Very cute- Wish they had fit better. Ended up sending them back. I would suggest sizing up from your regular slip on size. The tops are so tight that they were hurting my feet.

I bought the port/gum slip on. Love the color and everything about them, but... I feel a bit ripped off. I don't normally get the comfy/popcush Vans, but I did with this pair. I wear a size 13, and that size from Vans fits me perfectly. Well. .with the comfycush/ popcush insole these shoes turn into maybe a size 12. The insoles were killing my feet after 15 minutes of walking. I took them out, and bam - a perfect fit.
I only wear Vans and have for years. With my last pair of Beatrice mids only lasting 6 months before water was coming in through the bottom of the shoe and now the extra charge for the popcush, I'm a little disappointed.
Be aware of how much smaller the comfycush insoles will make the shoes and maybe buy a size up. Unfortunately, size 14 isn't really an option and would be too big.
Beautiful shoe color. I'd give it 5 stars if not for the popcush insoles

I love all of the Vans Skate lines, but the slip on style just hasn't worked out for me. I wear a 12 in the regular slip on style, so I tried a 12 in the skate model. it squeeze the top of my big toe and was uncomfortable on the top of my foot. So I tried a 13 and that just flopped too much on my heel. These didn't work out for me, but maybe it will be better for others. Maybe there is a "break-in period" but I prefer comfort out of the box.

I've worn Vans for the past 25 years and have always been great. Sadly the last two pairs of skate Old Schools have been off. The left shoe on both pairs is more narrow than the right. It's hard to notice at first try on but as the day goes on it's really noticeable.

I love Vans and have been wearing them almost exclusively for several years. I always wear Men's size 10 but these are small for size 10 and feel tight

I don't know if it's because normal slip ons don't have popcush or whatever it's called but these kill my feet

Remember when Vans had fun colors? Even the pro series had fun colors. Now it's black, white, grey, old checkered, dark colors, etcsoooo boring. Please bring back the bright stuff to the pro series! Blue/red, yellow/blue, red/blue checkers, white/ blue checkers.

Let me start out with, this is my first pair of Van's.
I LOVE everything about this skateboard shoe.... except one
1: Insole is great and flexible
2: They look great
3: The sticky sole grip is perfect
4: The ankle support and padding is great.
5: They included 3 pairs of laces
Now, the downside.
1 hour into re-learning how to ollie (I'm 35 years old) and landing quite a few! There is now a huge hole in the canvas exactly where every skateboarder has to slide their foot to complete the very basic of all tricks.
Now maybe I'm crazy but.. shouldn't a skateboard shoe actually have suede instead of canvas in this area so they last longer than an hour?

So the shoe felt good after wearing them for about a week or so. Only issue with it is the parts that are canvas obviously ripped mildly fast and left a hole right behind where the leather under layer stops and around the collar of the shoe

I was super excited to get these because I thought they were so cute! However when they arrived, not only was the paint on the pride flag shoddy but there's tacky looking text on the sidewall that wasn't in the product images. Would not have ordered these if I had known that would be on there.

Heavier than i thought and on top of everything they did not fit. Did not care for the outside art design either so had to return.

I have been buying Slip-On Pro Sneakers (Blackout) Men's Classic Suede Skateboarding for years in a 10.5. When those stopped being available I tried these Pop Cush.
What a disappointment.
They are too small. I should have sent them right back, but I tried to make them work, and wore them a bunch of times so my bad.
Maybe I'll order them in an 11, or try a different version.
so bummed

I got these last week, they are super comfortable and it fits perfectly on my left foot but my right shoe seems to be less padded and rubs on my heel.

Black on Black skateboard suede looks dope. The only and the huge drawback is the sizing. I normally wear a size 10, sized up to a 10.5 still it was crushing my feet especially on the top. Finally decided to go with a 11 (for the first time in life) and they are kinda okay but the back wiggles a little bit when walking. Really liked the look otherwise would have passed it.
