This hat is great most of the time, the only problem's we've ever had are at the beach. When it's super windy it blows off our kids heads. It works so well in all other enviroments that we keep buying them.

Both of my boys have used this hat and it works great. It protects their faces and necks without getting in the way of their play. Highly recommend this product!

We use this hat every time we go outdoors, especially to the park, it's very lightweight, adjustable and has great coverage. My daughter usually takes off the other hats she wears because they are to thick. The Kids Play Hat material is breathable and light, so she barely feels she has a hat on at all. I highly recommend this hat.

I bought three of these hats for my kids three years ago. The hats have been worn over and over, even while playing in a pool, and the hats still look great and work great. They stay on so well with the adjustable strap. If you adjust it so it's just under the chin, the hat will stay on, even in windy weather. My only problem was with the Child size hat. The velcro doesn't work so well after 3 years of use. There have been no problems with the Youth size. Buy this hat for your child! It's the only one you'll need as it will last for years. I have gotten my money's worth! In fact, I'm back to order another one tonight for my daughter who has outgrown the Child size. I'll be passing the Child size hat down to my 4th child.

We bought the Kids' Play Hats before a week long trip to the Jersey shore. At home in SoCA, my daughters (4 & 2) kept getting sunburns on their faces, but don't like to wear hats. The hats are FABULOUS. The straps are comfortable and keep the hats from blowing off. Both girls love the pink/purple colors. They wore them, kept them on, and after spending day in and day out at the beach, did NOT get sunburned on their faces or necks. What more can you ask for? We got a lot of comments on how cute the hats are, too. They continue to wear them happily at home. So happy with this purchase!!!

I got this hat for my 7 yr old and it works great!! We live in south Texas and go visit family in the Florida Key so we are out in the sun a lot. The hat keeps the sun of their faces and necks and I don't have to worry about sunburns!! Highly recommend the hat.

I have many of these - they keep the sun out of the kids faces & are fantastic! The only thing that could be improved is I love the old way the strap used to be but they had to change it b/c of recalls or something. Don't let that change your mind though - this is the best hat.

My daughter is now 2 1/2 and this hat is the only sun hat she has worn since she was an infant. The material is fantastic, holds up well to wear, and seems to remain comfortable even in hot temperatures. The strap keeps the hat on during play and in windy conditions. All around a great hat. I would highly recommend to anyone!

My 6 yr old and 4 yr old wear these hats literally every day. We live up in the Andes Mountains, and at 11,000 ft the sun is very intense. These hats cover faces & necks so my kids can play outside all day long & be protected from the sun. After only a few uses my son's chin strap broke, but its an easy fix. Other than that, these have held up very well. I'm back to buy two more!

Great hats. My kids love them and wear them enthusiastically every day. I like the wide brim and neck veil for improved sun protection. They wear well, and stay in good condition (my kids are very active and kind of tough on hats). Everyone who sees them comments favorably. We will definitely keep buying these.

The protection of this hat for my grandchildren is amazing. The colors are so pretty, they love wearing them...even the boy colors. They are so proud of their hats, and know that they will be safe being out in the sun and not get burned. That is the most important thing. Love these, thank you for such great quality.

I have purchased two hats for my children ages 2.5 and 4. It is the best hat that offers adequate protection and comes in nice colours. I am constantly stopped and asked where I purchased these hats. I've given lots of referrals to this website as we do not have a retail outlet in Canada. Worth every penny.

We love this sun hat - both our boys ages 5 and 7 wear them every day including when swimming. The only problem is that both Smart Straps ripped off both hats within the first week. We exchanged them thinking it was a fluke, and within a few days of having the new hats, the Smart Straps were yanked out of the seams again. The old model of hat, with just a simple strap (with no choke-prevention release) was sewed in very well. Had those hats for 5 years with plenty of yanking and no straps were ripped out. Otherwise, FANTASTIC HAT!!

My 18 mouth old son wears the hat all the time when we go outside and most of the time he does not try and take it off. I got him the child size and I think he will be able to wear it for a few more years.

I use this hat all the time when I'm outside, hiking, walking, or working (I do home care). I can slip it down my back in the car and just put it back on when I get out of the car. It goes everywhere with me.

I bought two of these hats (online) for my kids. They are just what we were looking for! They fit perfect and protect them well from the sun. The front visor does a great job of protecting their faces while the back protects the neck. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again when the kids outgrow theirs!!

I have purchased two hats for my children ages 3 months and 2.5 years. It is the best hat that offers adequate protection, secure in windy weather, good ventilation and comes in nice colors. I purchased 4 hats for my granddaughters prior to a family trip to Disney World. They wore them everywhere, even in the pool. Their faces and ears were protected. Even the 13 year old agreed to wear the hat :) Wonderful product! I have three myself and recommend them often!

Kids' Play Hat. Our first grandson will be 7 this summer and he has been wearing this same sun hat every summer since he was about 2. In the water playing, swimming, fishing, on the boat. Have just adjusted it as his head has grown. Now it's time for a larger size. The hat looks like new. Honestly. Has held its shape, no fading, and best of all no sunburned cheeks or neck. Start them wearing a hat to protect them from the beginning and and it becomes like car rides. You don't go until you're secured in your seat. You don't go out in the sun without your Sun Day hat. No way am I sending a grandchild home sunburned. Now his little brother will wear this one. Thank you!!

I purchased this hat for my granddaughter when she was a year old and she has been wearing it for all outdoor activities for the last 2 years. She now has a few Sunday Afternoons Play Hats--enough that she wears one practically everywhere. I love the sun protection, the outstanding design, and the fact that her face, eyes, and neck are protected. Highly recommend this hat!

This hat is amazing. I got the Royal Blue for my daughter at an early age in Infant Size. She doesn't mind wearing hats now at 2 1/2. She still fits the baby size but she is petite. Now we are buying the child size because it is easier to keep one at home and daycare. I have a friend who recommended this brand to me. A Wonderful Oregon Company. I just wish they had it in Royal Blue For Women!!!

This hat traveles with us all the time. We've had it for 2 yrs and it still fits our daughter. Best feature is the chin strap so you can still take it on cruises and the longer neck veil to protect the back from sunburns. It's quick to dry and it packs lightly. Great hat overall!

The hat is adjustable, pretty and in style. My grand-kids love them and no one else has them so they look cool and expensive too.

We bought these for our twins when they were two and they are still using them now that they are four. We use them at the park, the beach, hiking...everywhere. They adjust to fit their heads perfectly and they actually keep them on. Superb neck coverage. People constantly ask me where got them. We got them the child (age 2-5) and it seems to be getting a bit small so I do not know if they will fit next summer when they are 5. But I will absolutely buy these again in the next size. It is a great investment to keep their skin beautiful.

I have two boys, ages 1 and 3. Every time we go to the playground I get compliments on this hat!! We have four different colors, and we keep two in the car and two at home. That way we're never without one when we need it! We live in TX and the sun is brutal on their eyes. This hat allows them to enjoy playing outside without the pain of the bright sun and also I don't worry about sunburn from the neck up! The breakaway clip (like what cat collars have) is a lifesaver, as my 3 yr old has gotten snagged or pulled on it more than once. It just pops open and the hat falls off. Wonderful, wonderful smart thinking on the breakaway chin strap!!
