After extensive research and 3 years of my child wearing this hat through baby and toddlerhood, I can confidently say that this is the best hat for protection, fit, comfort, looks, performance and durability. It has been my "go to" gift for all of my friends' new babies.

I bought this hat in lavender for my 9yr daughter, who is very sensitive to anything itchy / scratchy or uncomfortable. She loves it! We live in the North of Australia, (tropical area) and she happily wears this hat anywhere - without complaint. I also love the broad brim (not floppy) and draped back that protects her very fair skin. Thank you Sunday Afternoons!

I started using this hat on my busy toddler as soon as I received the package, I couldn't wait! The hat does not disappoint - it is light, fits well, stays on and looks great. Both my 4.5 and 2.5 year olds have one and I can say this is the best sun hat I have ever purchased for them. My older one tells me he loves it because it is light and dries quickly after it gets sprayed on while running through the sprinkler. I wish I had found these hats for my boys earlier and not wasted money on other hats!

Excellent sunblock hat for kids, except my boy doesn't like to wear a hat. Cool and nice look, stylish. Wonderful coverage, even around the neck area. Seems very comfortable. Excellent choice if baby likes hats.

This is a lovely, lightweight, lined skirt. It's very packable but a little small for the size stated.

I bought this hat because I was undergoing Chemo Therapy and needed to be careful of the sun due to the drugs in my system. I hate hats. I love this one! It is very comfortable and attractive. I had to get a kid's hat size, as I have a small head. I am so glad I found your company. I have since bought 1 more for myslef and 2 for nieces.

I bought these hats for my three little ones when we moved to Florida. They protect them from the sun perfectly and always look good (no matter what state the kids are in)! It had been hard to get them to keep their hats on, but that was before I bought these ones. My little girl loves the pink colour, my middle son loves his camo hat, and my oldest feels dignified enough in the sand colour I got him. Altogether a very successful purchase. And I needn't worry about them outside in the sun anymore. What more could a mom ask for.

I love this product and have it for both my little toe headed boys! I just wish they would stop loosing them!! I love it so much that every time they loose it at the river or beach, i have to buy them a new one!

I bought this hat for my daughter. It is very helpful in protecting her from the sun in the summer. It is light, will get another one for her little sister.

My daughter wears this hat whenever outside and even into the pool. She loves it! I love that it covers her neck as well and stays on even in our windy area.

My daughter wears her hat everyday on the playground. I like how well it stays on her head and protects not just her face from the sun, but her ears and neck as well.

My son wears this everywhere in FL. It's cool to have on your head with all the vents. The strap keeps it from blowing off in wind or on boat, and it is awesomely comfortable. The main feature I like is that the hat shields both the front and back of neck.

Took the sun hat to the beach where my grandchildren wear them all day. They don' t mind having them on at all. They are a perfect fit and easy to adjust. Love the hat.

I found this website while searching the internet for a hat that would give good sun protection, and fell in love with these hats! I have one for each of my 7 children and they love them! You can't find anything like this in Australia, which is odd given the harshness of our summers and the high incidence of skin cancer here. I tell everyone about this site - Best. Hat. Ever.

I keep buying the bigger size of this hat for my son as he grows. He likes wearing it and it provides great protection outside while he is playing. Best hat I have found for him.

I bought a kid's play hat for my son to use at camp. He didn't really care for the style but did in fact think that he got good coverage.

This hat provides the best protection of any hats we've tried. The brim has enough coverage to protect their whole face and the strap will keep it on even in the wind. It's great having the flexible back so the hat is not as cumbersome and stays on comfortably in a stroller. We bought the baby size 6mo - 24mo and the hat is adjustable enough that our 3 1/2 year old still wears it comfortably. She will probably still fit it for another year or two.

This is a classic shape, soft fabric and easy care shirt. Wish it were still available in white! I did buy dusk, which is a great color.

Great summer hat for coverage of head, face, and neck. Nice and lightweight and adjustable to head size.

My girlfriend was wearing this hat to play tennis. I tried it on and loved the coverage it gave me and how lightweight it was. I'm blonde and fair skinned so I need all the protection I can get. It will be perfect for golf and tennis! I like the beige but wish it came in white also.

This hat is perfect! My daughter had the infant hat and is now in the child size. She is 18 months and we got the child size rather than baby so it would fit for longer. It fits great and blocks out so much sun! She gets compliments on it every time she wears it.

These hats are light enough that even my 20 month old will keep it on her head. I'm most pleased with the protection it offers the face and neck area. Both my kids are happy to wear their gardening hats" and they like to adjust the straps to fit their head and practice buckling and unbuckling the chin straps (it's a good thing the buckle is made so well). Good product construction and function. Highly recommend."

I purchased 2 hats for my granddaughter last year, both were the Kids' Play Hat style with the wide brim and flap. Both of my boys have this hat, and they love them. In fact, they've loved them a little too much, and we're going to end up replacing them soon. We live on a sailboat, and comfort is critical, because they wear them all the time, and life's too short to argue with a kid about wearing their hat all the time. But with this hat? No argument. Hurrah!
