The hat came within a few days of the order, and it's packaged neatly and clean. I've read other reviews about the sizes running big. I got a Youth size for my 5 year old, and it fits me as well. I think the size matches its' description (in inches), it is only bigger than what other brands are selling for that age group. So if you want to get a hat that fits just right, you should go by the measurements, and not the age group. I like the fact that there are so many colors to choose from and the size is adjustable, so my daughter can wear it for at least a few years. It is a good quality hat with great coverage. The most important thing is that she loves the hat too so she'll wear it to truly get the sun protection.

Thank you Sunday Afternoons for making such a great sun hat for infants/toddlers. The shaped brim is great because it doesn't flop down in my daughters face like other sunhats we've tried & the back coverage is an added bonus in providing shade. The hat does pick up a bit of wind on a windy day though so remember to keep the strap on. Overall, awesome product :)

These are the best sun hats for kids. They are cool, water resistant, and light, so the kids forget they're even wearing them. They wash easily, too.

We were given this hat right before moving overseas to Africa. My daughter has been wearing it for the last year and a half. It has been one of the best hats ever! The brim that continues around the sides and back really helps to prevent sunburn on her shoulders and back. The material is so light so she doesn't even seem to notice that she is wearing it and the chin strap is great for when the wind picks up...no more chasing hats for me! It washes out easily and dries fast. No complaints here!

We live in a very sunny location, and have children who burn easily in the sun! The kids wear their hats every day all summer long. The kids love them just as much as i do, and they come in fantastic colors!

My boy has worn this style play hat for 6 years straight. He wore it daily as a toddler, and continues to wear it daily in the youth size. He has always been happy to wear this hat. This is hands-down the BEST sunhat for kids. It is great for daily use, hiking in high altitudes with intense sun and wind, beach days, and anything else. He wears it extreme wind and it stays on. The back flap is much better than a rigid brim, which catches wind and also gets in the way of backpacks.

I bought a lavender play hat for my granddaughter and a tan play hat for my grandson. They just love them and feel so grown-up that their hats are the same as their grown-ups. It's so fun that the whole family has matching hats.

Great for bike riding and hiking. Washes well. I have 3 white tops and decided to try the pink. Very pleased with the color.

Bought my 2 year old one of these hats after seeing kids playing in them at park. I love it! We live in Texas and she wears it at the park and splash pads without argument. It provides great coverage but doesn't impede her vision or ability to play. It's lightweight and must be comfortable as my daughter rarely seems to notice she is wearing it. This hat is head and shoulders above any other toddler sun hat I have tried.

My dermatologist recommended this hat for my infant and I have to admit I was skeptical. I just didn't think he would tolerate wearing it. I was wrong. He is comfortable in it and seems to appreciate the shade it provides. My husband and I appreciate the quality and ease of use and care. I will definitely purchase more hats/clothing in future.

I love these hats.. I love how they are light weight.. and cover a lot of skin! I love the UPF on them. The only thing I would change is the hat style for the older kids. I would prefer it have a little clip to attach like the toddler hats.. and not the little pull to tighten one. Overall Great hat!

I love this hat for many reasons and have purchased additional ones as gifts for family members and friends because I think so highly of it. It offers the most protection from the sun with the 5 inch brim as well as comfort, style and being lightweight. It doesn't feel like you have a hat on and I don't get hat hair like I do with other hats. I take it everywhere since it packs so well. I only wish it came in more colors...maybe soon ?

I have bought these before for my little granddaughters and they love them. They are so bright and in many different colors. They are such great protection from the sun, covering the back of the neck and extending out far enough in the front to block the sun from getting in the face. I have not seen any other product that could compare. The price is completely worth it when you consider how well they hold up to normal wear and tear, which is actually non-existent because of the type of fabric and construction. I would recommend this product to anyone!

My 7 yr old and 4 yr old daughters both wear these hats. We live in Southern California so they wear them year round. The kids love how it shades their whole face and back of neck. They even wear them on the playground. I love that the hats have a breakaway cord. The other kids always ask their parents for the same hat!

We live high elevation area; a hat and sunscreen are necessity of our life now. My son loves and is proud to wear this hat. Whenever he wears it, people ask about it. It is an excellent hat that he cannot wait to wear it in the Spring/Summer.

We live in a small apartment with three boys. Luckily we are in California. The weather usually permits playing outside all day. These hats are light, comfortable, and well ventilated. These qualities along with the design keep the hats on all day while they have fun outdoors. At three my little ones still haven't gotten a sunburn. We've gone through two sizes so far and are hoping the style will still be cool enough for them when they grow into the next size up. Buying one for my ten year old wouldn't keep his skin safe. He definitely has his own style.

My daughter likes it and it protects her from the sun. The adjustable strap is very nice.
