I found the heel to be very loose. Even laced up tight my heel slips. Additionally there is no padding around the heel at all. Returned.

This is a nicely cushioned shoe, that felt great once I got them on. Actually getting them on was a problem. I was looking for a shoe that works for my achilles tendonitis, but this was not it. Wearing with orthotics, I found the structure in the back of the heel of the shoe put pressure on my heel, though there was plenty of room in the toes, so sizing up was not an option. The heel arc should have been a nice slide into the shoe, but was compromised by the wonky design of the tongue. Even if I had not had fit issues, I would be returning simply because I am unwilling to do battle to get these things on every single day.

I ordered an 8 wide due to ankle surgery on my right foot. The size and width are fine (I always take an 8 in NB) but the heel doesn’t have much support and my heel slips when I walk. Unfortunately I’ll be returning these. Disappointed!

I was a bit disappointed in the sneaker, only because the upper was not supportive at all. The shoe itself was very comfortable and cushioned, but the upper seemed very flimsy to me. Some people might not need the support, and if you don't, it's otherwise a really nice shoe. I also liked the looks of the sneaker, but my feet looked like boats in them. Thinking I could have gone 1/2 size smaller.

These are cute sneakers, and I liked the colors. However, as other reviewers noted, there is a serious problem with the inability to manipulate the shoe laces. I have a high arch, and I need to loosen the laces to get in the shoe. With this style, it's almost impossible since the laces fit in slits, not holes. It's too much trouble to get them on!

Overall, the sneakers did not have enough support for me. They wore out too quickly. The bottom of the left sole peeled off at the end of 3 months. I also had significant heel pain in the left foot. The sneaker may have been defective, I don't really know. I don't think I will be purchasing another pair of NB sneakers.

I wanted to wait and review this pair after a couple months. I wear these shoes for only walking. After 3 months of use they have holes in the back heel and the tread is worn off. I walk about 15 miles a week so nothing crazy. Very disappointed with life span of these shoes for the cost. This is the second pair this has happend with.

I have bought a pair every six months for the last 2 years and I am not as happy as I have been with my other 3 pairs
Pro: the elastic band on the inside are more comfortable than the other shoes I bought.
Con: the arch is not as high and the treads are already wearing down after a month of use.

So disappointed in the sneaker is made so cheaply.. I have to wear my old sneakers as this is not hold their shape and are not worth the money. The color is pretty that is it is very flimsy already losing its shape as I have been wearing them for 3 weeks .. You can not even go for a walk in the mall they are uncomfortable.. I went to the sneaker dealer for New Balance to make sure they fit correctly and he said yes I have the right size for my feet he said yes this sneaker is a big disappointment the way it is made I have worn a New Balance since they came out I wear a 9ee I ordered the 880 a much better made sneaker and support I know the economy is off 30 per cent the way things are made ..But this off 100 per cent

I bought these shoes thinking they would be great for work. I'm a nurse and spend a lot on time on my feet and thought these would be perfect. However, they make me feet hurt really bad and have been very difficult to break in. They are extreme tight leave my feet sore and blister the top of my feet. I bought my normal size and have never had any trouble with any of the other new balance style shoes I own except for these. I loved how they look wished they would have worked out.

The soft foam is great on my feet. Even with the laces loosened completely, the top of shoe cuts into my feet. Hoped they would loosen bit didn't. I've never worn a wide shoe, but a friend told me she had to get a wide in these.

Too narrow and the footbed was hard and had a ridge across arch. Not comfortable as NB usually is. I ordered the MORE at the same time and it was comfortable for my arthritic feet, so will keep them. zappos is as always great to work with.
