I was so grateful to find these shoes. My feet loved them. I have gone through 3 pr so I ordered 2 more pair when they were starting to wear because extra wide are hard to find. I noticed right away that my foot pain didn't go away right away as usual but kept on wearing them. Now suddenly after 2 weeks I have pain in my butt, lower and mid back, heels and shins. The shoes look identical but something is different from my old pairs.

I recently wrote a review about how much I love these shoes for my bulk training miles. I do still love how squishy the foam is. It's not hard like other brands I've tried. After a couple months of running in them I'm writing again to say the only complaint I have is that the upper is very hard and stiff especially at the top and the tong is a bit bulky. This is creating soreness and pressure on the top of the foot particularly around the front of the ankle. It's giving me extensor tendinitis. I would recommend making the tongue slim like on the Fuel Cell Rebel which I also love. And make the upper softer and more flexible so that it doesn't cause pain especially after prolonged use such as the long run. This is why I gave it 3 stars. If this doesn't get fixed, I won't I'll be able to train in this shoe anymore.

It's kind a small to me and i want to return it but unfortunately i saw that i have to return it by January 31 but it's too late when i saw that info..i did'nt wear them at all coz i don't feel comfortablei just practice wearing them inside my room..

I had pair previously and it was super but slow peeling off had to glue as not to trip now new pair doing same thing

The she's are fine but I'm a small runner with a neutral stride so I d fine with most shoes. I thought it is shady that they say they have a "military discount". Then exempt any running shoe worth wearing.

The Fresh Foam 1080 has been my favorite shoe for several years. I had a pair for workouts and a pair to wear pretty much every day. Not only we're they extremely comfy but the fit (I wear a narrow) was perfect. Unfortunately the most recent pair of shoes is not up to the previous standards. The shoes are wider and don't hug my feet anymore. When I tried tightening the laces my circulation was cut off in my feet. So disappointed.

Not as soft and comfortable as the 1080i in the past. I have bought several pairs over the last two years, and just not as pleased with the newest model.

I have been using fresh foam 1080 for years . I have raved about this shoe and have recommended it to many friends. Unfortunately I have recently purchased 2 pair of the 1080v11. My foot has been sliding all over. No support or stabilization of my foot. Please go back to the 1080v10. Best shoe ever. If you continue with the design I'd the 11 I may have to look for another shoe. Please change the design. Thank you very much.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and New Balance shoes (above 900 series) were recommended to me by my podiatrist. The shoe have several challenges for me: 1. Black ink on the sole and it tracked spots on my laminated floor 2. Material is very thin and you see your toe print 3. Not sturdy as short shoe strings

The last few yrs the cushioning in the shoes seems to becoming less and less especially for the price I've had three foot surgeries and really depended on the cloud like cushion

My last pair was an asics gel cumulus D (wide) and for my needs the new balance 1080 D (wide) didn't measure up because it doesn't have the structure I'd hoped for. Cumulus is soft but also sturdy - this pair left the soles of my feet sore but the tops perfect as it is soft fabric on top with lots of width in the toe box on a wide. Cumulus much better for me as it's soft on top and sturdy on the foot with a better heel grip - here my heels slip out even when I lace the shoe to tighten the heel. Good looking shoe though! If I were younger and my feet were in better shape I'd probably like them a lot.
