While walking, these shoes are very comfortable but I am in he car a lot as well and with no pressure on the soles the seam over the instep is really uncomfortable. My toes became numb while sitting in them as well. Too bad since they look great and the soles seem supportive and cushy.

Pretty comfy shoe and i really like style. However my heel slipped out of the shoe - just not as snug as I need because I need width in toe box but not necessarily in the heel.

Bought the 1080v11 in citrus. Had the 1080v10 for the last year and fit great. Super comfortable. Really good cushioning. Wore because they were recommended for plantar faciatis and I was very happy with. Sadly these v11 version are going back. The toe box is wider and laces can’t help make them feel fitted with the width they added to the shoe. The tongue is different, the heal isn’t the same….just so disappointed. And the v10 is gone

I wear New Balance almost exclusively for run/walk shoes. I walk with my dogs several miles daily. I have a wide foot and can wear 8.5M or 8.5W in NB as they do typically run on the wide side. This time I purchased the 8.5W. The 1080V10 was the best ever! This v11 shoe has a slightly narrower sole than the V10. IT doesn't feel as stable or as thick as the padding is somewhat less. It also laces up a bit differently & doesn't feel as secure at the ankle. Arch support is good but I really liked the sole & arch support on the v10 better. I'll keep them and hope the next version has some of the predecessors features again! Overall a good shoe for long walks/jogs.

Heel feels as if it slips a bit, but no blisters and after awhile I'd not noticed too much.

the back (heel) was too shallow. Barely okay with insole that came with it. with own insoles, couldn't keep the shoe on. A bummer.

I wear an 11 but these fit like a 12. I had more than an inch between my toes and the end of the shoe. Loved the style and color though.

the sewn-in tongue means there is not enough give on my high instep. otherwise these are good shoes. I had five pairs of the 1080v9 and am on my last pair. I despair of finding something I like as well.

Overall a good show. Returned because they were about half size too large. Would probably not buy again due to lack of padding around the ankle, they were stiff and scratchy there. The sole cushion was great though.

I bought these and will keep them, but prefer the V3s over the 1080V11. The cushion is great and they were very comfortable in that regard. What I did not like is the lack of padding around the ankle. They were a little scratchy back there, but that has always been an issue for my feet. If I bought them again would order a half size smaller.

I bought the wide version of this shoe as I felt the medium width was too narrow, and I don't have a wide foot. Keep in mind the wide version of this shoe is gargantuan in size compared to the medium width. It's almost an inch longer and much wider. I guess I'm in between but now wish I had just made the mediums work as these are clearly too big for me. Nothing technically innovative here it's just a huge slab of foam with a mesh upper. Long live the pre-Fresh Foam 1080s, such a great shoe but many generations removed now. I'll explore the 880s next but unfortunately Zappos doesn't carry those.

I really love the padding in these shoes. It's hard to find shoes that have good padding these days. I will have to return them because the sock like fit and laces at the top squeeze my feet so tight on top and I have arthritis in the top of my foot so every time I wear them my foot begins to hurt after a few hours. I bought a wide pair and that was a little better but still the top can only be adjusted so far. I finally bought a pair and cut the elastic that pulls the top of the shoe to your foot to make that sock fit and it still hurts. Just not enough room on top to make adjustments.

Loved the 1080v10! Fit right out of the box. Have them in most colors. Excited about this color. Not sure about these yet. I had to double check they weren’t mens. These fit much larger/looser. The color is great, we’ll see about the fit.

The size was great, however the sole is higher than I am use to so I feel like I am floating a little when I walk, but overall they work. I wear no other make of tennis shoes other than New Balance and Brooks.

I usually like this style from NB but the redesign on the heel causes the shoe to rub in an odd and uncomfortable way. Returned. Kept the Vonga V5 instead.

The heel is quite low. Noticed knee pain. Seemed to improve when I wore other sneakers. Very good looking. Wish they worked for me.

I love New Balance and have depended on these shoes for years. But lately the shoes have been disappointing, especially considering the cost. This is slightly too big, where the last model 1080v10 was too snug at first. I wear these barefoot and never had a problem until now, the tongue scratches up the top of my foot. Also the shoe pushed in on inner ankle. I wish New Balance would stop tweaking this shoe, the last great fit I had would be two models ago with the 1080v9. I hope they fix it because this is a well- cushioned attractive shoe otherwise.

The back of the shoes are made of some rubbery material that's different than anything I have worn before. I haven't decided if I like it. They feel quite secure on my feet but it makes them difficult to get on. I am undecided about if the extra effort is worth it. I haven't worn them outside yet.
