These are very comfortable shoes. I am not a runner; but, I walk a great deal & I need comfortable shoes after having left knee surgery as well as surgery on my left foot. I am very happy with these; and, I would strongly consider buying another pair.

The cushioning is not a comfortable as expected. The toe box is comfortable & the style is good. Overall not as cushioned as Hoka 1. Somewhat disappointed.

I've done about 20 miles on them so far , still early, still breaking them in. I did notice that if I tighten them like I normally do my other shoes, the top of my foot really hurts. I've loosened them up a lot and it has minimized the stiffness. I'll see in a month or two how they fare up to my other running shoes.

Comfortable and fit pretty well. Only problem is that my normal shoe size is 12 and these and, to be honest, most athletic shoes in this size range do not come in half sizes. If I could have gotten a 12 1/2 they would have been perfect and a size a-13 would be too long. Otherwise a very good shoe for a mature man, 80+, to wear on his daily 3 mile walks.

I run cross country and track, and this shoe fits most of my needs really well. I'm just over 70 miles in it so far, and it still sort of feels like I'm breaking it in a little. It is probably ideal for slower mileage, and is very comfortable and soft for those runs. I've also taken it on some tempo runs, and it sort of becomes a burden any faster than 6:00 pace, but it still worked okay. The upper works well and is very soft, and the midsole has lots of squish. One thing I thought would be off putting is the heel counter, which upon first wear feels like it will be very uncomfortable, but honestly just sort of disappears on your foot. I have two main gripes with this shoe. The first is that the way the midfoot lockdown and sole works, it is very uncomfortable sometimes on the lateral side of my foot where that little bone and foot pad thing sticks out. This gets to the point where I have to take the shoes off and retie them, sometimes a few times per run. Hopefully this is just an extended part of the break-in process, and that seems to be happening less now. The second thing is the shoe runs large. I usually have size 10.5-11, and my 10.5 was large on my foot. Again, these two complaints are fairly minor all things considered. If I didn't mention something about the shoe, that part of it works great. The heel fit, the upper, and the midsole all stood out to me as being very good.

The running shoes are comfortable and provide support for a 3 day a week running schedule. The fit was good for an average dimension foot and the size matched other shoes I have from this brand. The laces were a little scrunched at first. Overall happy. Good looking and comfy shoe.

The 1080 does not disappoint. It's a great sneaker for running base runs and distance runs. I'm on about my 6th pair of 1080's. I tried other models and brands, but I keep coming back to the 1080. I only knocked off one star because I get heel slippage on faster runs/speed workouts.

Age 69, 25 mpw, daily trainer, parallel and heel lock lacing, 10 mpm. Currently 40 miles on shoes. Pros = Good fit, comfortable heel to toe drop, good traction, good cushioning. Cons = Top of heels feel loose or sloppy but no slippage. I would recommend these shoes. Same comfort but less bulky, more control than Hoka Clifton.

Provides good support throughout the footbed. Lots of cushioning toe to heel. I alternate wearing Hoka Graviota which are wider providing more lateral support, and more structured. The NB are like a sock above the sole, but very good support. Heel is structured without being stiff. The sole bottoms are soft enough to not make a lot of noise on hardwood floors, grippy enough texture, and the shoes seem to wear very well. This is my second pair, the first pair haven't warn out, I just tend to buy a second pair of something I like when I find it.

As usual the FreshFoam 1080 line does not disappoint, my only complaint is that the wide version is too wide. Instead of giving the option of wide width and 2E the shoes comes in standard 2E which is too wide for folks who are W

This is my third pair of the 1080s. I think these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, I wear them for pickleball about 8 to 10 hours a week, indoor and outdoor. I get about 3 or 4 months usage out of them before the soles wear out. I have noticed that after using this pair 3 times there is a split in the seam of the heel padding of the right shoe. The toe box is a little wider than most other shoes I have tried, giving me a proper fit. I really like the model and will continue to buy them unless I could find a shoe that has the same size toe box, fresh foam support with a more durable sole. They feel good every time I put them on!

Although these are marketed as running shoes, in my opinion, they are too light. The 990 shoe is 4 oz. heavier, and a lot more sturdy. However, these light weight shoes are perfect to wear everywhere. They are also great for treadmills, as the weight is more important than the stability. I have already bought a second pair.

I use it as a running and everyday shoe. I was looking forward to getting the latest version of this shoe and I ordered it online without first trying it on. When I first tried it on I was a little disappointed with the heel support as it is just too low. Great for getting in and out of without tying and untying your shoelaces but just a little too low for any support or comfort and so low in fact that it Rachel's your socks down into the shoe.

I wanted to love these shoes. They're incredibly comfortable, nice balance between foam and road feel. Great ventilation too. Unfortunately I experienced too much heel slip in these which drove me mad after 2 miles.

4E is a bit more narrow than 1540 v2 but the stretchy soft material makes it feel comfortable and less tight. It is true to size but I went 1/2 size large just to feel less restrictive and in case I needed to wear thicker socks. Negative might be the heal is not as secure unless you really tighten the lace. However, this could just be because I went with 1/2 a size larger than I normally do. Hopefully it will hold up.

Compared to the Version 10, the material around the ankle isn't quite as soft, leading to skin rubbing near the front inside ankle area close to the shoelace. I have had to wear higher rise socks that cover and protect the skin around the ankle. Otherwise, the ride and comfort are great.

70 yr old 220lb jogger, plus excellent dog walker. It took 4 days for the insole to become comfy so give the very firm initial feel a chance. I bought 13 narrow very very few choices in the NB lineup, sigh, still felt these were a bit wide at the toe break. Would be nice to get a repeat buyer discount too.

This is my second pair of 1080. This is an excellent shoe for everyday training and long distance running. Nice color scheme and good fit. My only complaint is that those wear out quickly: after about 300-400 miles the treads are worn out and the cushioning is very diminished.

This is my third pair of 1080s and second pair of v11s. The cushioning is very comfortable for my old knees and the width fit for the 2E I need is perfect. The durability of the soles is not quite what it used to be but I tend to keep my shoes longer that I should. I am not sure what I think about the rear heal "tongue" that is new to the v11s. I never had trouble with small peoples getting in my v10s but these v11s are pebble magnets. My opinion is they pop up from the road when I step on them and land in between my heal and that tongue which acts like a funnel. I shake out my shoes now after every run and the number of pebbles is surprising. The new design isn't so bad that I can't deal with it. I just got a new pair and will probably stay with them unless they change the design in a way I can't agree with.
