They are round toed and if you have long narrow feet they won't fit.

I wear a double wide shoe with orthotics. I typically get new balance shoes but I am disappointed in these. They run small in the width. These cause pain after a day of wearing. They seemed fine when I just tried them on.

The shoe experts recommended these but they've largely been terrible from the start. I've tried a hundred different ways to lacing the shoe but no matter what tightening it causes dig in at varying locations on my foot depending on how it was laced. If i kept them lose enough to not cause pain they'd he flopping everywhere. The issue is that the laces don't evenly distribute the force along the entire bridge so one area always gets tighter. I eventually replaced the laces with elastic laces which helped significantly. After several months I've begun to also notice that these shoes are actually causing more flare ups with my IT band because they're making my foot underpronate. I'm finding myself walking on the outside of the shoe. No issues with any of my previous shoes (including NBs). I even plant my feet perfectly in my Vibram five fingers. I unfortunately bought a wide to the recommendation of the expert but it was uncomfortable. I then bought standard width and it was better but still terrible. Now i have $260 worth of terrible shoes. ?

I've exclusively worn new balance sneakers for 10 years. I purchased these in my normal size but they were smaller than normal.

I really wanted to love these shoe, at first they are comfortable but with my weight the foam soles just don't hold up. I bought these before and it did the same thing the foam soles break down to fast. I bought again because I lose a lot of weight but I guess not enough. I weigh 230 pounds.

I usually wear the New Balance 940 as I need the support. But they have little choice with color & style. So when I saw the 880 in the beautiful pastel green & pink, I really liked them and decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, the support was much less than my 940s. And the toe-box was smaller. All-in-all they seemed much skimpier. They wouldn't work for me. I sent them back.

Too short and narrower than last years model. Love the shoe otherwise.

I have bought this brand and series 880 and 860 many times, I really liked the shore and I was able to afford to buy again, unfortunately this shoe seems more narrow, the mid-sole is squishy and I get off balance, it seems to have been made lighter and with less midsole, I am disappointed and this was my favorite in the past purchases.

I had purchased these in the same size just in a different color, but for some reason the gray/purple fit totally different and did not fit at all. Mind your quality control please because I would have loved to have kept them!

I've been wearing NB for 18 years. After I broke my foot, the surgeon recommended them. I've worn 7 1/2 D in all the different "903" version I've ever bought (at least one pair a year). I love the feel of these, just wish they fit the same. I'd need a half size larger for them to fit comfortably. Naturally, the size I need in the two colors I want are not available.

I purchased a size 9 1/2 Medium. When I put on the shoes it was too small. This is my normal shoe size that I purchase for tennis shoes. I did have to return the shoes.

Odd fit and the all-black styling makes them seems wider, though it may be an optical illusion. The exception to the rule that black is slimming. I've also tried the men's standard width in this shoe, in another color, which should be the same width, but those seemed to fit bitter, snugger through the ball of the foot and toe box for a more secure fit, and looked more streamlined. These seem to run a hair smaller than other shoes. I went up a half size for these, from a men's 7.5/women's 9 to an 8/women's 9.5.

I did not read reviews because I have been buying this shoe for years and years. Evidently others found them running short also. So disappointed to no longer know what my New Balance size is in the 880.

I have an earlier version of this style (Fresh Foam) in an 8, and it's been so comfortable that I've finally worn out the cushioning. Ordered these, also in 8, as replacement. They are at least a half-size too small. I'll try both 8.5 and 9.

My friend loved these shoes! Colourful and comfortable, just right. But the website only allowed me to have them delivered to me, not to my friend. I had to pay $25 to have Canada Post mail them to her. New Balance apparently had a problem with the website, and the staff didn't know what to suggest.

I really wanted to love this shoe. Very few brands carry women’s size 12, so I was thrilled to be able to buy a woman’s shoe for once. I always end up with a mens shoe. They are not as colorful. Unfortunately the 880v11 B(medium) with was too narrow for me. I usually buy a mens 11 D (medium) and the width is often too wide. Also, the toe box of the 880v11 was too short so my toes rubbed in both the mens and womens shoes. To be fair, it could be that not wearing real shoes much during the pandemic and almost daily walking widened my feet. (Can that happen??) I may try a wide to see how it fits. I loved the mens 11D 880v6 for being one of the most comfortable walking shoes ever for me.

I've always worn a size 5.5 and these run way too small. It hurt the second I put them on and I had to take them off right away.

I have worn NB for years and 880's for 3+ years. No issues and love the fit. I ordered these on line and always get the Wide-one reason I like NB is that they come in wides. I knew the minute I pulled them from the box they would not fit-way too narrow. The box and shoes both had 8D but no way they were wides. Rated not for fit but because I had to send them back.

I’ve been wearing New Balance running shoes for 15 years. I always get size 8EE. These shoes are very small and tight. My old 880v9 were much more comfy.
