My son can't wear these anymore -- his big toes are horribly chafed. I tried adjusting, he has only worn with socks -- if you feel inside you can see that the inside straps are very hard, bumpy, tough. Didn't have the problem with the shoes last year -- maybe there was neoprene lining the nylon straps? All I know is I just wasted money and today my kid goes to daycare in Nike flip flops until I get something else.

These shoes were the stinkiest shoes I've ever smelled once they got wet a couple of times. I bought them for my 2 year old and his feet smelled worse than any man's foot I've ever met. WIsh I knew what would help, but nothing I tried did. Would never pay money for this stench again.

I bought these for my son last spring. He didn't wear them for most of the summer because he said they hurt and his grandma bought him a pair of Crocs. He's not allowed to wear Crocs to school, so I pulled them back out in August. Within a couple of weeks, they started to make his feet smell SO AWFUL. Nothing I've tried, from baking soda overnight, to repeated cycles in the washing machine, makes any difference. As soon as he puts them on, terrible odor follows.

Should have listened to other reviews. I am a big fan of Keens for my toddler, but not the Newport H2. I am returning them because my son can't get them on by himself and I have a difficult time getting them on him. They are super cute, but I don't have the time or patience to struggle to get these on when my son is capable of putting on his other shoes (including Keens) by himself.

These wear really well. My son is hard on shoes and these held up like a dream. Warning though, they stink. Sweaty stinky feet stink up this shoe so bad that no amount of machine washing will help. I will never order these shoes again because of this.
