These will be my 2.5 year olds 3rd pair of Keens. We love these for summer they cover the toe for protection, and are great for getting wet and dry quickly.

My almost five year old loves these shoes. Easy to put on. Only thing is the the toggle is a little long, but that can be tied. Looking forward to the summer with these shoes.

Keen sandals are great, however these I've found these are difficult to get on my son's foot. He's nearly 3 and likes to do things himself but the fact is I can barely get these onto his foot, let alone attempt to help him manage the task himself. Once he gets them on, though, they are great and he loves wearing them.

Great shoes, really holds on to the leg. Not odor resistant and it's a bit hard for my 3 years old to wear them by him self.

These are the best summer shoes a kid could ask for. My son's feet do not do well in Crocs, as they sweat and make his little feet break out in a rash, but these are awesome. They breathe, they are pretty darn cute and the sole is sturdy. We have ordered three pairs since his first pair when he was 2. The only complaints are the back is a bit flimsy and needs some help when getting the shoes on, so a wiggly kid makes it hard and they smell after a few wears. But they wash perfectly. Just toss them in the laundry, air dry and they are ready for the next adventure!

Note: The velcro strap is rather annoying in that it's almost secured rather than free to come off and on. There is a mid cinch which holds it from being a free piece that opens and closes with ease, which I found to be restrictive with the ease of removal and tightening. These and all Keen shoes I have ever purchased for my son are fantastic. They are rough and tumble comfortable great for any kind of play my toddler has been into. I love love love Keen.

Nice shoes as usual but the coral color is very pink. The picture on the site makes it look like a neon/reddish color- but it really is closer to salmon.

These are great shoes. My son is three and he can run in them, get them wet and dirty and they still look like new. The only downside is that they are a little hard for him to put on by himself.

I bought these shoes for my two-year old it took awhile for her to take to them. They feel very heavy, or at least heavier than I had expected for water shoes. When she's not in flip flops, she chooses these and they've been great for water play and running around when it's hot. I haven't noticed any bad odor but will say they take forever (okay...maybe just a few days) to dry out if soaking wet. The velcro does help get these on but they certainly don't slide on her feet easily, and definitely not when feet and/or shoes are wet. We originally ordered a size 7 but it was too small (note: the shoe itself changes between toddler sizes 7 and 8 - the size 7 was smaller, lighter and easier to get on. Size 8 is longer with more side sections).

I filtered my search on Keen kids, boys and size 8. This was one of the items that appeared. Due to the fact that it was listed in the boys section, I thought these shoes were orange - not pink. They would be super cute for a girl but most boys would not wear them. I love keens and this is my third pair for my boys. They are durable, comfortable and great for both wet and dry weather. My kids live in them in the summer. Another perk is that they are easy to put on and take off. These are going back but I already ordered a blue pair to replace them.

A great sandal for active kids who love to run! Protective rubber toe doesn't trip them up and they are nicely padded inside. Easy to clean for mom. Can be a bit tricky to get on hot little feet. The opening at the top could be a bit wider like the infant version of the Keens.

My 3 yr old has wide feet and wears a size 8. I ordered an 8. The shoe seemed a half size too small. However, the shoe is nice and wide for kids with wide width feet. These shoes are not the easiest to put on -- quite awkward for me. The top strap barely touches the velcro closure and I am debating on keeping them. My son likes them and probably wont let me take them off. On the other hand, these shoes are thick, durable, and made well. Perfect for play and climbing, or even water play.

I bought for these for my 3 year old, and it made his feet smell really bad. He's never had this problem before. My son and I loved the sandal, but unfortunately we had to return it to the store.

Overall a great sturdy and comfortable shoe. The foot bed is a little on the stiff side but it seems all shoes in the "toddler/youth" category are stiff. One grip is the design of the ankle strap. The wrap-around design makes is difficult to get the shoe on and off quickly and tends to twist. A simple snap or friction buckle would have been a better choice.

I wanted something that was breathable, light, easy on/off, covered the toes, comfortable (obviously). My son has extra wide feet. These do not come in wide but their design is wider towards the front toe area. My son is almost 3 years old and wears a size 10. He wanted orange - they're actually a great color! We are overseas and received it in timely manner and well packaged. These shoes were an exact fit. With the way kids grow I don't think he'll wear these for long before he has to graduate to the next size but the 11 would be too big. The only thing that is a pain is that the kids unstrap but often will pull it through the loop. Then they have to put the strap through the loop, otherwise it might chafe a little. I've had to teach my boys to not pull it all the way out of that loop. The other thing is that the cord with the little clasp sticks up so you have to teach them how to push the clasp to release/tighten the cord and how to tuck it. I wouldn't necessarily pick this for a youngster if you want to teach them independence or if their fine motor skills aren't as developed. There are other shoes better suited for teaching independence. However, I do like the look. The boys love their sandals.

Runs slightly small. It's a great shoe: comfy and supportive. Great for all activities. Washes off and dries quickly. Love this shoe for an active outdoor child.

We have had other Keen kids shoes that had adjustable backs and my kids could slip them on and off easily. These ones do not, which means that my four year old son needs my help getting them on. Once they are on they are great, but he does not choose these a lot because he cannot do it by himself.

I absolutely love this shoe. It runs on the wider side but has a velcro strap and toggle to achieve a snug fit. The Newport H2 is indestructible, great style/protection for toddler feet and washes well. My only complaint is that this shoe stinks (thus 4 stars vs. 5)! I've tried with socks, without socks, washing with bleach, drying in the sun and still stinky shoes! How can a three year old have such stinky feet when wearing this shoe? Although I've heard the same sentiment from others, I do love this shoe...as I hold my breath!

Adorable shoes - only gripe is my little guy got a blister on his little toe. He has a high instep and they were easy to get on.

Love these shoes! The only weird thing about them is that the strap is kind of hard to loosen. My kids figured it out in about a week or so, but I think that part could be designed better. Overall, I love them.

Functional, a good shoe, appearance-wise, don't love them.

Third pair we have bought. The boys like the color choices. We like that that they are wider than an average shoe!

Great shoe so far but didn't use it long enough to know if it takes the beating of a 2 year-old. But honestly the loop closure is a total pain. I read a reviewer say the old model was better. I never saw it but they should consider going back!
