Too wide. Shoe says M. If your kid has Flinstone feet, this might be okay, but the widest part is in the toe box, which is a bit odd.

These are adorable with one major flaw, they make my son's feet smell so bad! Literally the first time he wore them his feet smelled. I've washed them and nothing seems to help. Guess they're just not built to breathe.

We get these every year. They hold up. They are heavy and not flexable but they don't fall apart and they stay on any toddlers foot!

Love Keens for my active toddler, but these were not good for him. Very hard to get on and off. Returning them for the hook and loop style.

I am sending these back. I love these shoes for my toddler, but you can put them outside in the sun all you want and if they start to stink there is no coming back.

The Keen brand is excellent - sturdy, washable. However, the loop in the front of this shoe and the pull tie (which you don't see) make it hard to fully open up the top of the shoe, so you have to wiggle the shoe to get your child's foot in.

This shoe is smaller than marked, I ordered a size 8 toddler, and I had a hard time putting them on my 3 year old. So I got a 9 and they are still hard to get on and off. My son can't put them on by himself without my help. My son has worn them for only a week and they are stinky already. Good thing you can throw them in the wash. I would not buy these shoes again.

I purchased these for my 3 year old son, and he wore them all through the summer. I have a couple complaints with these sandals. One is that they are very hard to get over the heel of his foot and felt at least a half size smaller. And the second is that they smelled soooooo bad! I had to wash them at least weekly. With so much washing, they did hold up really well.

Awesome shoe, terrible stink. They are such great shoes that it really is a shame. All the moms I knew said the same thing. Even after washing them in the washing machine. And the stink transfers to my son's foot. It's like the episode of Seinfeld about the "b.o." Quite a funk.

Sizing is good, but it is pretty narrow around the opening. Yes, it is velcro, but fits really snug. When we take them off he has indention marks, even when we fit the velcro loose.

Smelly but comfy!! My two and a 1/2 year old loves his shoes!! They are comfy and easy to get on and off. He can run and jump and never stubs a toe... The only problem is they make his feet stink!! I called Keen directly and they told me to put them in the washer. I did, but after a day in the shoes, his feet still smell. We are washing his feet as soon as he takes his shoes off because we love the support and comfort of the shoe! It is a great, smelly shoe.

It is unclear to me if Keen changed the design of the Newport H2, or if we had a different style before, but these shoes were not as good for our 3 year old as the previous pair we had. The problem is simply that these are hard to get on and buckle. The loop back strap seems too tight for my toddler to get the shoe on and so she tends to pull the strap out of the loop in the middle of the shoe. Once this strap is pulled out, it is next to impossible for myself or my daughter to feed it back through. Also, even when the strap is properly installed it seems too short to easily fasten. For us these shoes are unusable and I will be checking with Zappos if there is anything we can do to return them.

These are too hard to put on. It's important for a child to be able to put on / take off their own shoes and my 3 year old can't do it (I struggle to get them on and off!) They should have designed them better. I really love Keens but they should put more thought into these toddler shoes.

Every 4-year-old in our area has these shoes, and they are cute, but I will never buy them again. They are hard for my kids to get on themselves, but the real problem is the smell. After a day of wearing them the smell of the shoes and my kids' feet is indescribably awful. Maybe it's us, but beware! That said, after a summer of wear they still look (but do not smell) like new.

We got these a month ago. My son loves them and they must be popular because any kid on the block wears them. I was disappointed to see when I received them that the insole is plastic (was trying to spend sometimes away from the Crocs) and noticed yesterday when giving my son his bath that these make his feet smell very bad (which never happened with any type of shoe before)! This will be okay for the summer but back to healthy shoes for school in September.

I am not a fan. These shoes look fine but they are super hard to put on and they cause blisters.

Gave my son lots of blisters. Bought two pairs in different colors, returned the unworn pair because it hurt his feet. He is three. Never a problem with Keen shoes before.

I'm definitely a little disappointed. I love Keens for my kids. I have bought them every summer for the last 3 years and it's been really easy for my daughter to get them on and off by herself. I love the styling and the color of this shoe, but the functionality is terrible. I'm not sure why they've designed it differently this time around, but the shoes are extremely difficult for even me to get them on and off her. They used to just have a simple velcro closure, now they are looped in and out of another loop and are a pain to get on! If I had more time, I would have returned them and bought something else. Keen! Please go back to the old design! This is way too complicated for an adult! Let alone a little kid with wet feet!

These seemed like great sandals and for the expensive price I was sure they would be perfect. But after wearing for a couple of weeks they started to smell. And my son has never had this problem before with any other shoes. They are also not that easy for a child to slip on and off. If you child doesn\'t like strapping his own shoes then I don\'t recommend these. And the smell, ugh! I even tried washing them. I hate to throw them away because of what I paid but I don\'t like my son wearing them. I wish I could return them now. I should have just gotten crocs for half the price and they never small. They do seem to have decent support but it doesn\'t matter if I won\'t put them on my son.

I thought these were the perfect daycare solution - closed toed sandals! But they gave my 3-year-old blisters on the inside of each foot. Even if they'd eventually break-in and be okay, there's no way I'll convince him to put them on again. I was talking with another parent about my sandal dilemma and she said her daughter had blisters in the same place with these Keens. Bummer.

The Keens have quickly become very smelly and my son's shoes/feet usually don't smell. I am thinking it is because they do not breathe very well, and obviously being sandals, he doesn't wear socks with them. We only used them for a few weeks.

These shoes shredded my toddlers feet inside of 10 minutes. He had a HUGE bloody blister on the on the inner side of his left foot. His ankles were rubbed red and raw from back to front. This was not all day wear. It was literally minutes. The shoes were not too small or too big. I was so disappointed with this sandal. We are sticking with Geox. They don’t tear up my baby’s feet.

I needed a closed toe sandal for summer and turned to Keen because of their awesome reputation. Unfortunately, like the other negative reviewers stated, these blistered my 16 month old's feet. I ended up[ purchasing the See Kai Run's Caleb sandal and like them much better - they're lighter and more flexible.

Many of my friends recommended Keen's to me since my child manages to destroy all his shoes within a month or two, they stated that they are very durable. I got the shoes and he wore them for about 2 weeks and the Velcro started to wear away and straps would come undone. He hasn't even had them for a month and they can no longer be used because it doesn't hold at all.
