So far so good. I bought with the intent of using it to store/carry my cycling gear. Shoes, helmet, gloves, etc
It's a great size for that, and the is a nice touch.

Great bag! Holds what I need it to for daily use or as a carry on.. not as burly as the base camp duffle. This is a more refined bag.

This is a great and durable bag. I bought it to use at the gym, due to it's smaller capacity and the removable divider in the middle. I use this to go to the gym at the office I work at, and it is incredibly utilitarian. I do wish that the laptop pocket was larger, as it is not big enough to accommodate my 15" work laptop, and I have to store it in the pocket that the backpack straps are stored in.

This was a gift for my husband. Have other duffle bags but the conversion option is handy. It's a high quality bag with a great zipper and lots of space.

I love the material and quality of the bag. You can use it as a cooler too.

Overall really love the bag. Good quality, great amount of space. Only issue, there's no long strap. Makes for awkward carrying.

I bought this bag last year primarily to use as travel bag for quick trips. I liked that it functioned as both a duffel and backpack and could suffice for a carry on in Europe if needed. However, I quickly learned that this was not the bag for airport travel. As a duffel it works fine, but as a backpack, this bag has no shoulder or back support. I struggled to lug it around because of the uncomfortable straps. If you are choosing between this and a travel backpack - go for the backpack.

I have the 32L and the 42L. They weigh little and carry a LOT. The shoulder straps are too close together so they dig into your neck, and the 42 duffle strap is uncomfortable in the middle of my back.

Quality bag, sturdy built, but missing a single strap for carrying over a shoulder like a true duffel. It's a backpack with a grab handle. But its a nice backpack with a grab handle.

Planned on using this as carry on luggage that primarily sits sideways on a suitcase. For this reason the fact that the flap pocket and one side zipper are on the "bottom" is a not ideal. The waterproof outer fabric doesn't seem durable enough for the amount of travel I do. Still debating on retuning it. I do like that there's lots of pockets and an inner divider.

Love the product itself and the size, but the zipper pulls do not match the picture, nor are they the same color as the other size Voyager duffels. I have the larger Voyager duffel, which has white zipper pulls (like the ones pictured), but this bag has black pulls. If you are trying to match your gear, this color isn't for you.

Loved the quality like always northface makes the best bags but I didn't realize how small it was.

Usually when a bag is described as fitting a 15" laptop you can also fit a 16" MacBook Pro, but this is not the case for this bag. It's a great bag otherwise, but I'll have to return it since my computer doesn't fit.

The bag itself seems very sturdy and like a great option for a quick trip but I returned it after wearing it at home for 30 minutes. The shoulder straps were cutting into my neck and left big red marks. I wish it were more comfortable otherwise it would have been a great bag!

I bought this for my son who does not like to carry excessive baggage. Enough room for what he needs and uses it as a carry on for his flights. He uses the bag as a backpack more than a duffle bag. Need more backpack carry ons in bigger sizes which are backpacks.

Very Shallow, which makes it a waste for carry on when I am trying to maximize space.

This duffle seems very durable. There's lots of nice features including backpack straps (if you plan to use them), laptop sleeve, two side pockets, and a mesh pocket on the inside. However, I found it to be very stiff, heavy, and cumbersome. The entire duffle comes neatly folded in one of the side pockets but good luck getting it back in there once you've taken it out. The inside partition is a flimsy little pad that has some annoying toggle buttons to secure. I also found some stitching issues with my bag the day I received it so make sure you check the seams of your bag carefully!

This bag is super durable but definitely not the biggest. I have other 42L bags and this one felt substantially smaller

So i had very high hopes for this duffel bag, unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations .
Pro
1. Great looking
2. many different size pockets
3. color nice
Cons
1. very heavy once fully packed
2. The shoulder straps are flimsy and painful when using as a backpack.
2. awkward to carry with one hand ( weight distribution is weirdly off.
3. no back support when in backpack mode.
4. absolutely needs a strap to connect the shoulder straps in the middle when being used as a backpack. almost dropped bag several times while using like a backpack.
My other Northface backpacks have a secure strap.
5. lastly missing water bottle pockets.
This will probably be my last duffel bag from Northface.
