We've used this tent for a year now in everything from hot dusty dry, to rainy and windy, from the desert to the mountains, to the lakeshore. It is a great tent with a great amount of space and the vestibule makes for a great versatile area, we've put our bikes in there on mountain biking trips, its great to take off wet clothes out of the rain before climbing in your tent, and its a great place to put a chair and have some sitting room. My only real complaint is that the vestibule walls don't come all the way down to the ground and there is a couple inch gap that wind does find its way under but I haven't really found it to be problematic. Overall a great tent that gets compliments every time we go out.

I just got it in the mail, it's very sturdy 19 pounds. The polls are amazing and very strong. I can tell it's going to be an amazing tent when I get the chance to use it

Had one full day where it was heavy rain. Windy at night with 40+mph gust. Tent held up perfect. A few drops of water here and there inside the tent but it probably was condensation. The vestibule was really useful. Only thing I would have liked was if the front door had the option for a full cover instead of just the mesh, it might have helped when it got cold at night to keep some of the cold air out and the warm air from the heater inside.

Set this tent up in the yard for the kids this weekend. Went up super easy and got smacked with a wind storm here in the south east. Looking forward to getting outside!

Tent is huge, at least to someone used to small backpacking tents. Easy to set up even for short people and surprisingly quick for the size. Held up amazing in a downpour that was flooding the ground around us. Stayed completely dry inside. Bugs like to collect in the vestibule especially in wet weather. Don't love the placement of the interior stash pockets. Was in love with it and still pleased but am now concerned about longevity because one pole already got a small crack on only the third time setting it up. Hasn't snapped yet but am not sure if it will another time I go to set it up and the poles didn't come with a repair piece.

This is a pretty great tent. The vestibule is convenient, though I think the material should set up closer to the ground than it does. I am able to stand up in it which is nice. Plenty of room for my family of 4 also. I even had a crib in it. Some mention it's tough to set up. I can see how teo people would be helpful, but this is very manageable with one person.

We have used it twice so far and the things that we like are the extending canopy in the front. It actually takes up wind and still stays steady for a tall tent. I think it's due it to its shape. Lots of vents and definitely a great tent to take it on summer camping. The things we don't like. The front vestibule is connected to the rain fly. So setting it up was confusing. Also the first vestibule is a bit wonky. If you don't have even surface then it doesn't fit well. A lot of vents mean that it doesn't hold up on cold weathers. You got have a heater running inside for sure. I'm giving 4 stars because the standout feature is the vestibule but at the same that's the one which causes most problems.

The zippers stick a bit and rain seeped through the footprint into the tent on a rainy night of camping, but otherwise the tent is spacious and sturdy and relatively easy to set up. We had 3 people sleeping in the tent and can't imagine it being comfortable for more than 4 people.

The dry vestibule we like and we wish the fly over the tent went down as far as the vestibule part does. Its nice and breezy.

I love this tent for family car camping- tons of space and the vestibule is great for storage. However, it would be AWESOME to have an optional full coverage fly that could be used with JUST the tent without the larger vestibule addition, would make it an all-season- use tent and to be used in smaller spaces (with the vestibule the tent is HUGE). I would pay extra to have an additional fly that fits the tent only, it would make this a MUCH more versitile tent. FIVE STARS if North Face makes a replacement fly that would fit this tent.

I am out in remote locations for long periods of time. So the size and height was ideal. Actually it is perfect all around. Only draw back is it is a warmer weather tent only.

Great tent. I had a 2 person backpacker for 20 years which led me to upsize to this for the family. I've been through significant rain events with it. It had some minor seem leakage but I had it pulled too tight.

Excellent well made tent. I do wish they would bring back the rear vestibule, and I would appreciate if the garage went all the way to the ground and did not have a gap to allow critters in.

We have used the tent in the rain, wind and sun. We are very pleased with the tent except when trying to sleep in higher/Gusty wind as it is very noisy due to the wind entering through the garage and flapping the cover sleeve. We were hoping to buy a non garage sleeve. With that said we would buy the tent again.

We bought this last summer for car camping with a family of 3 + a big dog. It's held up well on 4 big trips and in plenty of rainstorms. Pros: Optional vents keep it cool in rainy weather, good amount of windows to open, plenty of interior storage pockets, cords running along the top are great for hanging up damp stuff. Vestibule is roomy enough for a shoe pile, a firewood stack, or a quick meal in rainy weather. Zippers work smoothly. Cons: Windows don't open from the inside, storage bag provided is not structured at all and packs up pretty bulky.

Perfect size for a family of 4. Quick and easy setup and good ventilation. What would make it a perfect 5 is the ability to enclose the front entrance and a mesh shelf near the ceiling.

Symbols on the set up instructions were a bit vague, so it took about 20 minutes to set up the first time. I like that it is tall at the center and wide enough to fit a couple of air mattresses, but 6 people would be a very tight fit. The vestibule enclosure is large enough for storing plenty of gear. Disappointed that rope tie-offs are needed to prevent the rainfly from resting directly on and sealing off most of the top of tent screen. The ropes need to be untied each time the rainfly flaps are opened. A couple of flexible 6mm poles crossing under the rainfly would have been a better approach for keeping the rainfly off the top of tent screen.

First time setting up took a bit of time as there are no directions included with the tent, but figured it out after 20+ mins. Like that it is big and tall at the center but even with 2 air mattresses only 4 people fit in it comfortably (not sure how 6 would!) Don't like that the main entrance to the tent on the vestibule side is only mesh and doesn't have a solid door. I don't know how we are going to keep warm in the cold mountains of Colorado with only a mesh door. Love the enclosed vestibule, it for 4 of us in it with our camping chairs (kind of cramped but we made it work) when the wind really picked up and we thought it was going to rain. Needed to add an extra tarp to the floor of the vestibule as the tiny footprint mat wasn't big enough. Overall it's a good tent, just wish some of those other things would get fixed about it to give it a 5 star review.
