My wife and I tent camp in MI, only to find that our old Kelty was a leaker. We got the Wawona 6p. Queen size air mattress - check. Vestibule to keep gear - check. Survived two strong storms during a week of camping, not a drop of water was found. Everything was dry. Tent has great ventilation. Only downfall is that you have to close the windows from the exterior of the tent. Big deal if that design keeps us dry. Best tent that I've ever used.

I love using it camping in and around our national forest with this tent I don't worry about the rain soaking my firewood, or my shoes when I leave them out, it's such a fun tent to have.

This tent is very large. I like I can stand up in it. One of the zippers catches already on the outside fabric.

This was our first time tent camping with two kids ages 4 and 7. It was easy to pitch and comfortable for 4 nights. We are looking forward to going again.

This tent is awesome and has tons of space. Set up is easy. The vestibule in the front is great for stooring bikes and cooler.

Great tent! Love the color and how lightweight it is for a 6P tent. High quality and always backed by the NF warranty. Would definitely suggest to anyone who needs a family tent at a good quality.

Used the tent for a week in Colorado above 10,000 foot elevation. Love the extra tie off lines, and the large entrance. Zippers worked great. Bought the footprint for it also and it really provided good protection for the floor.

Easy to put together. Been up in my backyard for 2 weeks now (including some big weather events), without any issues.

Great Summer Tent, lots of room. Camped near Twin Lakes Colorado for a couple of days, before hiking up Mt. Elbert. This was my 8th time ascending Mt. Elbert.

We used this tent as a beginner for a 4 person family. It was important that we feel safe, comfortable and protected from elements. This tent is very spacious and putting it together is not that big a deal after you do it once. I put it together in 20 odd mins. Do get the footprint and get some extra stakes/cord for that even "extra" secure feel. You can easily stand up straight and it has good ventilation. I like the vestibule area. Only thing that I had hoped was some complete coverage (besides a mesh-access) from the vestibule area. It would give a more warmer/secure feeling as vestibule side tends to stay 4-5 inches above ground. Its going to last a good long period! Very satisfied!

Buy this tent. Tropical Depression Fred (2021) dropped 3inches of rain in 3 hours overnight and in the morning, there only the smallest amount of moisture had seeped through a small area at the front of the tent. This was due to the fact there was a literal river running between the tent and the tarp (I bought the footprint) for the better part of 3/4 hours. I did do my best the next day to wipe away any excess moisture on the bottom but I never really had any issues.

We bought this particular tent for two reasons, firstly we are approaching 50 years old and don't want to crawl in & out of a tent, and secondly, we wanted to have room to secure our mountain bikes overnight. The sleeping area is massive, and the vestibule is nearly as big as the sleeping area, with plenty of room to park two bikes and have ample room to go in/out of the tent. It's made very well, and with the best poles I've had on a tent ever and more than enough room to stand inside(I'm 6'2").
All those benefits being said, this is definitely a warm weather tent. The entrance door from the vestibule to sleeping area is screen only with no canvas cover, and the vestibule wall doesn't quite touch the ground when installed, so if it's cold outside and windy you'll definitely feel it inside too. Overall, I love it!

I was able to use the Wawona 6 on a 3 night camping trip this past weekend and it was perfect for me. Im 6"2' and the inside of the tent easily allows me to stand up with no issues. Having the spacious vestibulethat for privacy and protection from the weather if you don't want be inside the tent is a great feature. The ability to open the vestibule from both ends makes it even better!

Great tent. I was looking for a larger tent that I could stand up in. I'm 6' 4", so my options are pretty limited. The Wawona 6 fit the bill. Love the large vestibule. We keep a small table and my gravel bike in there. Nice attention to detail, good accessibility with doors on both sides of the vestibule and the tent. This ones a winner!

We got this for our family of 4 plus furry one to go on adventures. We love it, we fit comfortably and set up was a breeze. We live in a small NYC Apt. and have a small sedan, so space and weight are just right for us.

Used on a VT family camping trip. Very easy assembly and take down (2 people) if u have prior tent experience. If you've never camped watch the assembly video before you go. Vestibule was the selling point for me and it did not disappoint. Being able to have an area for a small table that served as our drop zone for things like flashlights, bug spray and toiletry bags was great. Also kept morning dew off shoes, camping chairs and anything else we stored. Perfect to sit in when it started raining as we did not use a rain tarp or anything else above the tent.
