I'm absolutely obsessed with these shoes. I've worn many different brands of shoes and my feet have killed me after long hikes. Many have rubbed blisters on my feet making the rest of the hike unbearable. There was so breaking in period with these at all. I'll definitely be buying the low tops.

My first hiking boots. They needed no break in time needed at all. Comfortable, sturdy and a very stylish colour.

These boots are beautiful in real life. I got the green and couldn't believe how light weight they are! I listened to reviews to size down half a size but I have a wider base across my toes and for some reason the right foot was a bit tight there, not the left one (my feet are the same width, I measured) I just returned them to try a half size up which is my normal shoe size.

I went with these shoes because I don't love clunky hiking boots and the snow doesn't get too deep here, so I figured I'd give them a try. So far, they keep my feet dry and warm in 30-degree or higher weather and 2-3" of snow/slush/mud. I'm usually an 8.5W but the 8 actually fit really well.

First, EXTRA-WIDE footwear is hard to find. I need extra wide for foot problems. These boots are lightweight, sturdy, comfortable. They don't just help my feet & toes, they benefit my whole posture. They impressed my Chiropodist who is not just any Chiropodist , he is an intuitive miracle worker (so to speak) - his knowledge of feet, ankles, muscles, anatomy, biomechanics etc is applied in a beneficial way.

Purchased these for my wife for Christmas, she absolutely loves them! She told me she has not had this level of ankle & arch support ever!

Bought a couple of months ago and highly delighted with them up to now. Extremely comfortable and generous fit around the toe box. Worn straight out of the box and no issues. I would have been even happier if they had the quick lacing system.

I needed new hiking shoes and decided to go with these after loving previous Salomon styles. Wore these for my 4 day 45km hiking trip on the Inca trail in Peru and they were amazing! No blisters and super comfortable. Also wore these for backpacking trip where it poured and they stayed dry, highly recommend!

Most comfortable boot for hiking. Boot is lighweight. I wish the boots were waterproof. I usually have foot pain at some point during a hike but not with these. My normal size shoe is 6 1/2 but the 6 fit perfectly. Plenty of room

I love how lightweight these are! They are plush inside as well. My feet are hard to please and have been through many hiking boots in the last few years. These ones are keepers.

I have been wearing Salomon XUltra hiking boots for years and they rarely disappoint. These 4's get 5 stars and are my favorite pair so far. However, I did not find that they ran large and had to return my first pair because I downsized as recommended on the site. I re-ordered and purchased my regular Salomon (and sneaker) size. I love them so much I bought another pair immediately in case Solomon decides to change the style/fit which they tend to do. Even after my weekly 12-14 mile hikes over rocky terrain my feet never get hot spots, blisters, or get wet. I especially love the generous toe bed. Right out of the box I'm ready to hit the trails with no break-in. These boots are little work horses that also happen to be quite stylish. Brawn & beauty works for me!

I am a Solomon newbie but man am I glad I tried them. Very comfortable shoes. I tried too many other brands to list and none fit my foot right but these did! The hardly needed breaking in. We did a 22mile weekend in the Grand Canyon and not one blister or foot pain. I found my lifelong brand.

I bought these looking for winter boots and I was not disappointed at all. They hold up in the snow and rain, keeping my feet dry with no extra water proofing needed in my end. I usually wear a size 8.5 to give my toes an appropriate amount of room and to accommodate my foot orthotics, so I went with the 8.5 and had no issues at all. The insole is removable in this shoe. There is also a generous toe box. The sole is firm and supportive but still flexes as to not inhibit the natural bending required for walking. Worth every penny!

LOVE LOVE these boots! Perfectly comfy right out of the box! Sturdy and protective without feeling bulky or clunky. Roomy toe box for my slightly crooked toe! Put 20 miles on them first time out without any break in needed!
