I have stuck with Salomon boots for many years as they fit my feet nicely and are so comfortable right out of the box. Love the 'soft' ankle top of these boots and the fact that the laces aren't ridiculously long as most other brands seem to provide!! Waterproof so far - but not really put them to the test through the winter period yet. Ordered my usual shoe size - my old pair were a size bigger - so think these come up a bit bigger than older styles?

I love these hiking boots. They're much lighter on my feet (and in my suitcase) than my old pair. They're super comfortable, fit like a glove, hug my ankles just right. They didn't need to be broken in; were comfortable right away.

Extremely comfortable. Well made. Lightweight. Waterproof (sprayed to protect). Stylish.

The UltraMid was always a solid boot. I had the previous version which had leather uppers and it was nice but a tad heavy. The new version is a little lighter and dries quicker. I have recently used this for my Kilimanjaro trip and love it.

I absolutely love them! I really struggled to find my size and to find stock of these anywhere. I wasn't prepared to settle for the old version but really glad that somehow my size came back in stock in a colour and I grabbed them. I've never known hiking boots to be comfortable but these were a dream to wear!

The Salomon X Ultra 4 Mid GTX is by far the best pair of hiking shoes I ever own. I have to give it 5 stars although the sizing is a bit weird. I wear 6.5 for Nike, NB, Vans, Asics, etc but I bought 5.5 for this pair, as many previous reviews said the size was big. Size 5.5 fits really well for me as I have long and narrow feet. The shoes are very lightweight, have a strong grip, and have great support for my ankles. Believe it or not, I did not break in these shoes. I bought them in June 2021 and they arrived a few days before the summer trips. I wore them for back-to-back hiking in Utah and Colorado. I also like the waterproof feature.

I'd been after some lightweight mid-height walking boots for a while. Nothing too heavy but with additional ankle support. After a great experience with some Salomon Millstreams I thought these might do the trick and I'm pleased to say that I wasn't wrong. They're comfortable from the off (probably thanks to the cloud-like Ortholite insole) and I didn't find there was any breaking in time required. They also kept my feet dry whilst submerged in water at the beach. Contrary to some other reviews, I'd say my usual size was just right. I wear them with normal everyday thickness socks and found them to fit perfectly (I would agree though that they run fairly warm, so probably wouldn't wear them with thick socks unless in winter). There is ample room in the toe box as others have described (I'm personally a huge fan of that) but most importantly there's no movement in the ankle/heel resulting in happy feet with no blisters. The ankle support is great too and just what I needed. Thanks Salomon. I am a die hard fan and will keep returning all the time you're producing amazing footwear like this.

I bought these boots for a trip to southeastern Utah to hike around Bears Ears National Monument. They kept my feet cool and comfortable hiking over very uneven terrain. They also provided my weak ankles much needed support. This was my first time buying Salomon hiking boots and I was not disappointed. I am officially a fan!

Bought these boots a month and spent many hours already wearing these up and down difficult terrain, these were comfortable straight away and really no need to wear in! They got great sizing is spot on, padding helps around issue areas, overall very pleased and they look great

I wore these hiking in the pouring rain, my feet stayed dry even after stepping in deep puddles and mud. There was icy snow that was very slick from the rain and the grip was excellent. I thought the fit was perfect, they are a little roomy in the toe area, but thats what I wanted. They were sturdy, comfortable, and supportive. And the design and colours are great.

I have the sand colour, it is beautiful. The shoes feel very sturdy, I cannot really twist an ankle in them. Size is generous, although the cm sizing on your website makes no sense. The Eu sizing is okay. I would say go for your usual, as they have already taken into account the extra space needed for your foot to swell etc....brilliant boots so far.

I can't speak highly enough about these boots. They are so comfortable that I barely notice I'm wearing them even on the roughest terrain. I've just spent a weekend walking 40 miles on rocky and uneven paths and don't have a single mark on my feet. I am genuinely considering buying a second pair incase they are discontinued as I don't think I'll ever find a pair of walking boots that fit me so well. I have very wide feet and went up half a size so I could wear extra thick socks and sock liners in winter.

I hiked the Grand Canyon, Bear Mountain (Sedona), and Superstition Mountains. Lots of mileage in few days, different weather conditions, and these boots felt amazing overall. They are super light, yet comfy. I am a size 6 and purchased a size 6. No issues at all with sizing. Overall, I am pretty happy with these shoes!

Every version of this shoe has gotten better and better. The sole is softer and more flexible than in the past, and the whole shoe is suer light. The new colorway looks very sci-fi and crisp. Great traction, and water proof as guarantied. Needed a bit of breaking in to have the heel shape around my foot

Comfortable out of the box, waterproof, no blisters or rubbing, stay tied, I really enjoyed these up until a couple of weeks ago they started leaking from the top material, I used them daily 2-3 hours a day for almost a year so I am happy with that, giving 4 stars since they did start leaking on the top mesh material. Plan to buy another type of Salomon boots to try next. I did like these better than the 3 version.

Loved these boots straight away - light yet sturdy and so far still waterproof. Only slight glitch which is why they are not 5 stars is that they are painful on tge top of my foot where the boot bends. I'm hoping it will soften as I wear them more - otherwise v happy

Love these.. had them for about 2 yrs and about to order another as the tread wore down. They are very light a and were waterproof for a bit..I sprayed them with waterproofing and they are good.. just wrote them out Wish they had a darker color though

Second pair of these. I repurchased despite the lack of waterproofing. Very comfortable, required no breakin period. Nice and light weight, like a shoe.major flaw is the lack of waterproofing. They require additional protective spray weekly. Oh, also order 1/2 size down. Fit big compared to Speedcross.

Salomon sent me a new pair as my last pair waterproofing failed after 11 months.The new ones are so far keeping my feet dry and are comfortable to wear. So far 10km walk with no issues.

Super comfortable boot - lightweight - good grip Had to change to another set of laces as these would not stay closed. I inserted a pair of superfeet hiking inner soles as the innersole is very thin. I have done two hikes in them and am very pleased.
