I walked the Camino in Spain and Portugal in my Altra Lone Peaks in october of 2022. Love them!! I have "bad" feet. My Lone Peaks allowed me to walk the 125 miles with never a problem. I walk alot and probably now have 300 miles in all kinds of terrain. I have purchased my second pair to have on standby . Highly recommended!

This is my second pair--I need these to keep my feet dry in Maine winters! Good grip on most kinds of snow.

Amazing shoe. I have 3 pairs, husband loves them. Have recommended to friends which they love. Comes in wide also. Tested these on 20 mile hikes and ran Throu the tuff terrain. Absolutely the most comfortable shoes ever.

Purchased for me just before a hiking trip. I wasnt familiar with the brand, but they had been recommended to me by my podiatrist after telling him of my struggle to find hiking shoes or boots that would fit my orthotics. Literally pulled these out of the box at the trailhead, and went on my way over boulders, through streams, climbing in caves, and even down a small waterfall. Pros - they fit my orthotics!!! Water resistant, comfortable, supportive, wide toebox, grippy. Cons - really weird raw seams on the outside (cosmetic, doesn't seem to impact function), seem to wear fast, no way to really keep sand and dirt/debris from going down into the shoe, color selection is limited (don't judge, I love bright colors ) Overall... a fantastic experience. I have logged almost 500 miles in them since May and they are definitely ready for retirement but no regrets at all. In fact, I will be buying another pair shortly for my next hiking trip. :)

Traveled in rainy Scotland and my feet stayed dry and the grip is fantastic even on wet rocks.

Firstly, these shoes are water resistant NOT waterproof. If you are wanting waterproof Lone Peaks, these shoes are not for you. I have recently returned from almost 2 months of backpacking in Scotland in every type if weather and terrain the country has to offer. I wore these shoes everyday while on trail and was not disappointed. Most of the time, I wore my usual socks and these shoes kept my feet dry. On the rainy days or when hiking in areas with stream crossings or standing water, I wore waterproof socks to insure dry feet at the end of the day. This combination kept my feet drier than my companions who wore high waterproof hiking boots. The shoes gave me the usual Lone Peak feel and comfort that I have come to expect and love while keeping my feet dry.

I have had these for several months now and have used during rain and what little snow we had this winter. They are very warm and my feet have stayed dry. I had an older pair that I have wore for at least three years and they were also still pretty much waterproof but I wore out the sole. I also have a pair of the boots and they are great when the snow is higher.

I have multiple things wrong with my back, and arthritis in my knees. I needed a shoe better than my converse. I didn't even have to break them in. They're so comfortable! I normally wear an 81/2, I had to get a size 8. Highly recommend!!

These are exactly the shoes I have been hoping to find. We do a lot of trail hiking, and I have had a terrible time finding a shoe that was made for comfort, durability and trails. My husband ordered a pair over a year ago, and they have helped his feet, so thought I had better give them a try. I especially appreciate the wide toe bed. Great quality so I don't mind the cost. Weatherproof is an added bonus. Now, I just need the hiking boots also!

These shoes arrived 3 days ago and I have worn them for two 2 mile walks. My Morton's neuroma does not hurt!!! I am so happy with these shoes that I will be ordering another pair for golf. I wear a 7 1/2 and they fit great. Now if Altra made casual shoes and boots!

I bike over the rainy and muddy roads with these. Works a charm. Nice room for toes to keep a bit warmer when biking. I do wonder what is the appropriate way to clean them. They get very dirty.

Comfortable waterproof hiking shoe for someone who needs a wide toe box like me. This is one of the Altra shoes that has not been made more narrow (tip, if you need a wide toe box find out which Altra shoes have the "origina"l fit, this is one of them)

This is my 4th Lone Peak shoe but the first one that is waterproof. I have been walking in snow and slush and my feet are dry and warm. I had bought 6 other pairs of shoes, looking for ones that were wide enough and finally settled on these FOREVER!

Daily walker. My feet stay completely dry. Comfortable shoe with the wonderful wider toe box. Altra brand is the best.

I love these, I can wear warm wool socks and my toes still have plenty of room to do their job, while the heels are securely held. The shoes are fully waterproof and I can freely walk through puddles, this rainy season. It took me a while to get used to the lower heel, but I have adjusted, and find I have a slightly different gait, springier because I am landing solidly on my heel and I can roll forward using all the foot muscles, perhaps more efficient. I just hope Altra does not change this last like almost all the other footwear companies do.

Having an all weather version has inspired me to up my game over the winter. They fit well, breathe and are comfortable for trail runs in the cold PNW rain.

As a senior citizen, I need the wide toe box. I wear with custom arch support. I use to walk or jog as I enjoy outdoors and chase grandchildren.

Had a great round of golf with dry feet! First time all summer. Love these shoes.

I have ordered and returned at least six pair of tennis shoes over the past seven months. FINALLY I found a shoe with a wide and comfortable toe box. They're water proof for the wet climate, too.

Best tennis shoe ever!!! Even my podiatrist commented on it. Saying it's exactly the kind of shoe he loves to see people wear and has them get because of the zero drop!!
