These shoes are very light and extremely comfortable. They look great - exactly what I wanted!

I have flat feet! Most shoes pinch my toes or rub my toes together to form callous! The Altra Women Rivera don't! I have bought three pairs and have not been disappointed!

The Rivera style are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had for workouts, running, training, etc. perfect fit for my narrow heel and thin feet. My feet aren't narrow but my heel is and when I say thin feet I mean the depth of my feet not the width . Most workout shoes that I have bought slide around on my feet making my feet ache. These do not do that. Each person's foot has its own personality so different shoes work for different feet . I have the Navy blue. I am going to get the black and I so wish the Rivera came in gray.

The shoe fits GREAT with walking, running and even working around the house. My only complaint is minor and has to do with the laces. Can you make them a bit longer?

These shoes are exactly what I've been searching for. As I'm getting further away from my 20s my body feels my runs more. With these shoes there's just enough cushion for my, achem, not so young joints. I'm in love!

I'm a fan of Altra for it's foot shape, zero drop and wide toe box. These shoes had a more narrow feel and weren't the best fit for me. It's nice to know that this awesome shoe can be enjoyed by others that need a little more narrow fit.

I have hallux rigidus in my left big toe. These shoes are roomy enough in the toe box to accommodate the issue. More neutral colors would be appreciated!! And would love if you could make these in a leather or other material and dress them up for work casual.

Unfortunately I have a rather large toes, which has created a bunion on 1 foot due to other manufacturer shoes that squeezed my toes together in the center. The Rivera shoe is only closed toe shoe I've found that I that gives a great amount of cushion, with zero discomfort. I live downtown Chicago, and regularly walk 7+ miles a day with these shoes on and have no pain at all. The only change I would make is hire somebody else that decides on the colors, or at least let someone decide that has more fashion sense. Most of the colors are rather ghastly, and I would love to buy more in other colors if they were available. Rivera is a great product and could be huge moneymaker for altra, with the correct person making decisions.

I normally wear a women's size 12B which is most difficult to find especially in a shoe that is made to the shape of an actual foot. I did have to return these shoes because they were too short and I ordered a men's size 11 In the same shoe style. I chose to order the men's version of this shoe mostly because of the men's reviews were that the shoe was too narrow for them which made it perfect for me. I am glad I tried the men's version as there were no options for a size 13 women's shoe. They fit perfectly, my toes are happy and my heal is not sliding around in the shoes. I love these shoes but do wish they came in a women's size 13 and In a leather option as well because my employer requires that I wear leather closed toe shoes.
