Very comfortable. Should have purchased a wide and the fabric that is attached to the tongue makes them difficult to put on, which is frustrating. No blisters though.

Overall great. I've gotten two earlier editions had each pair three years as my only running shoes. This edition def has a lot of arch support and a little less minimalist which is what I wanted so was great for me!! If you don't want arch support these are not for you. Still light weight, flexible. Almost no padding on bottom (low key wish there were) I'm a creature of habit and for the cost I think they're great! I run in them but this pair I'm Also wearing around casually. I gave 4 stars because I wish slightly softer pad and arch support is kinda intense for "minimalist" but is growing on me.

I miss my Trail Glove 4 shoes. They fit perfectly and the burrito shape made it so easy to put the shoes on and off. These shoes very nice but are much harder to put on and pull off. I have weakness caused by MS, and neuropathy so a barefoot, minimalist shoe helps so much, I just wish Merrel would go back to the design of the Trail Glove 4.

The shoe fit well right away but not for people with wide feet. Very light weight and fine for walking cobblestones and Roman stone roads. Not for hiking. I'm appreciating their very lightweight and the clean look of the black shoe.

These are very nice shoes that fit very true to size. I liked the solid arch support as well. However, the 'barefoot feel' was too barefoot for me. I felt that my feet would end up hurting if I wore all day hiking. I ended up returning for another Merrell shoe with more cushion. If you are looking for a barefoot feel with good arch support, these could be what you are looking for.

Pretty narrow. You would think a barefoot shoe would make a wider toe box.

The toe bed is a little rougher than other merrells I've worn in the past. The top rubbed my toe and turned my nail black.

They feel tight at first but break in. Not very breathable. Excellent traction.

The band across the top of the foot was super tight and uncomfortable when I first got these. But after about ten miles of walking, they've loosened up and I really love them now! Great looking shoes, just the right amount of cushion.

This is my third edition of these shoes. I still love them, but I wish they had better colors this time around.

Overall I'm very happy with the shoes. The tongue is permanently affixed to one side of the shoe, with some elastic on the inside as well. The elastic causes a bit of discomfort if I wear the shoes all day though. Since I don't generally wear them all day they're fine. I had some older barefoot style shoes, and these provide much more of a barrier on the sole so that you don't feel every rock or pebble.

First of all, I LOVE Merrell shoes and boots. Can't count the number of pairs I've owned. That said, I'm only giving 4 stars to my latest shoe, the Trail Glove 6. I've gotten so used to barefoot shoes over the years that I can feel even an ounce of extra weight. I'm not a runner yet do a lot of walking. I'm 75 and feel like wearing barefoot shoes over the past 20+ years has helped me maintain good balance. This latest shoe is a good shoe. What I like about it is that it seems to be well made and is fairly comfortable. It is not as barefoot as I would like and far prefer the Vapor Glove 5. The Trail Glove has a pretty definite arch support that I'm not used to. The toe area is more narrow. It's not tight yet not nearly as roomy as the Vapor Glove. To their credit, the Trail Glove is more comfortable on gravel which is part of my daily walk. I'm going to keep this shoe but only time will tell if I reorder this particular Merrell. Regarding the fit - I typically get a size 10 (I normally wear a 9.5). I got the 10 and it's a bit big but not overly so. I was going to return for a 9.5 and then was concerned the toe area might be too snug.

I bought the high rise and love them but the laces untie all of the time even double knotted! Wore those out & now onto the marine color & no issues!

Just the right support, a little narrower than my previous Merrells.

Bought to replace my Trail Glove 5s that I loved and wore into the ground. They are tighter and less comfortable than the 5! I loved them for the wide toe box, but now I think I need to go up a size. Still very quality, but if you have wide feet, consider increasing your size.

I purchased these because I had a pair of merrells that I loved so much some years back, but they don't make them anymore. I needed a good pair of hiking shoes but I also hate bulky shoes and prefer a lower shoe with great support still. I took these to Hawaii with me on a lot of hikes and here's my feelings: 1. When I first purchased them I was not expecting a bunch of toe space like it had because I do typically prefer a slimmer look. I was surprised though, it was nice. 2. When I first put the shoes on I didn't think I was going to like them. There is an arch support in there that first felt really awkward, but the more I started walking in them the more comfortable it became. 3. For hiking, this shoe wasn't that bad at all. It was comfortable and supportive and I had no problems what so ever. If you like the glove shoes but have been too concerned about buying a pair, I would definitely try these out. Closest you can get to having a pair of comfortable shoes and still be as bare as the glove shoes. Would I buy them again? Probably not. But I also know based on my last pair of Merrell shoes that I will likely have these for a long time. I put a lot of wear and tear into my shoes and Merrells have been good to me as far as still looking good after doing its part!

I love the lightness of this shoe and the way it feels like a glove on my foot. For my feet, I wish it were a little bit wider in the toe box and I also wish the arch support, which I love, were just a bit further back. Then I would definitely give it 5 stars because everything else about the shoe is right on!

Great comfortable shoe, but so hard to get on without a shoehorn. Once they are on, you are solid. I use them for mountain biking and outdoor dancing. My only complint is how hard they are to get on.

I was looking for a simple, casual, comfortable shoe that I could wear all day. These shoes fit the bill. Because the tongue of the shoe is anchored to both sides of the shoe you have to wriggle a bit to get them on, but once they're on they're great.

The toe box of these is quite narrow, but the heel seems the same width as the toe.

Although the style is the same and there is more support, the top 4 laces are held in place with a ribbon like band that is hard to get adjusted comfortably so the top of my foot doesn't fall asleep. Love the colors available in this style.

Great fit for high arches. I've never had a sole hug my foot. Light weight and comfortable. Only flaw is that the sides under the ankles pucker out when you walk. More design flaw than messing with wear.

I reallh love these shoes so far. They are a color and they provide a good amojnt of support for hiking while still being barefoot. My only trouble with these shoes is that they have a bit of a gap at the ankle and I have noticed that pebbbles and other debris fall into my shoes when I am on trails. I sometimes have to stop and clean my shoes out.
