I love these shoes! They fit well and feel great. They're a bit narrow to put on-- they don't open up all that wide-- but once I loosen the laces I can get them on and when they're on and tied, they fit perfectly. Big improvements on fit and cushioning over the earlier model Glove I was wearing before. They have enough cushioning for graveled and rocky trails, good arch support, wide toes, and they don't twist on my foot like the earlier model tended to.

High quality. I wear these to the gym, excellent grip. Comfortable for trail walking with the kids. Been wearing them for 5 months daily with no complaints. If you're not used to lower shoes just give yourself time to adjust, you won't be sorry.

I was skeptical of these shoes, but I really love them. Daily wear. Office, dog walking, TRX, etc. Lightweight and not bulky. Great for travel!

The Trail Glove 6 Eco is perfect for me. A great hike is going across the granite dome at Stone Mountain State Park NC. The soles of the Trail 6 sticks to the granite, there is no fear of slipping and they are so light my stride is effortless.

Women's trail glove 6 has a good combination of minimalist feel, support and enough cushioning to take the edge off of impact. The fit provides a roomy toe box with a snug heel to prevent slippage and crammed toes. Try running in these on a pine needle covered path for sheer bliss.

I'm 66 years old and have had foot surgery. I took my Merrells on a rocky hike up Linda Vista outside Tucson. Great traction and support.

Good fit with light socks or barefoot, good non slip tread and good on rocky trails. Mega comfotable, very light weight.

I could deduct a star because one of the loops on the front of the shoe broke shortly after I bought it....but it was easy to fix and the shoe may have been loose and I stepped on it with the other shoe. Easy to fix, and probably not even necessary. I have a narrow foot and my friend has a wider foot, though we both buy 'B'. We both marvel at how well the shoe fits/works. I would buy a 1/2 size up to give you flexibility at the toe. I normally wear a 9, bought a 9.5. So runs slightly small. Lots of heel protection, (no risk of planters fasciitis) stiff enough to wear biking, yet my feet flex wonderfully. My feet feel protected yet functional. My friend wanted me to return the pair when one of the loops broke, but I knew I wouldn't give up the shoe, and instead I would walk away with two pair. It did feel narrow along the side of my foot, by I loosened the laces and it's fine. My friend has a wider foot and she has had no issues. I have bought 'ON' running shoes, and barefoot styles from an American shoe manufacture, but these are the ones I put on everyday. Full disclosure, I don't run as much anymore.

This is my first pair of Trail Glove shoes and I love them! I wore them right out of the box today, been biking, walking the dog and no blisters. I ordered size 8.5 after reading previous reviews and they fit fine, plenty of room in the toe box. I normally wear a size 9 depending on the shoe, and 8.5 was room enough. I like the low profile style, streamlined features compared to these bulky fat shoes other manufacturers have. I'm not a runner but walk everyday. Highly recommend them!

These are soft, close fitting, comfortable shoes without a lot of support, as their name implies. Shoes with a lot of unforgiving structure hurt the various bumps on my feet, and these are perfect for walking the dog, around the house, etc. The forefoot is wide enough to accommodate my bunions but the heel doesn’t slip. I don’t need the purple-pink interior, however!

I have a neurological disease and my feet are partially numb as a result. This has a big impact on the type of shoes I can wear and when I found these I was hopeful they would the meet the requirements (and they did). They have a thinner foot bed so I can feel the ground better but I needed something that still had good support, especially arch support. I wear a size 7 and that’s what I got in these, but they are more narrow/fitted (though still comfortable) so you might want to size up 1/2 a size if you plan to wear thicker socks or are between sizes.

This is my third pair of Merrill Glove running shoes. I love them, except that the Glove six runs tight in the toes. I wore them backpacking. It was an experiment, that I lived to regret. Over rough terrain, and endless, steep and rocky switchbacks, my feet took a beating. I have run miles in them with no problem, and maybe you can run in the back country, but they are not good for carrying a pack for 6 days.

I have been buying hiking shoes for 25 years and this is my first time purchasing trail running shoes. I love the fit which is true to size. I'm in-between sizes 6-6 1/2 and at first try I thought the shoe was slightly to big but as I walked around and felt the snug supportive fit over the midfoot and the more straight rounded front of the shoe which allowed my toes to just spread normally as I walked was so comfortable. I immediately wanted to put ''em to the test and the shoe is amazing on the trail, I went for hours and they were still a keeper. No need to be broken in this shoe is ready to go!

I had the Trail Glove 4 and 5 and now got the 6. I wear these sneakers almost daily for all my activities. I'm not able to run in them though because don't give enough cushion for my knees. I just love the look and feel! I've always but the bungee version. This was the first time I got the shoelace lace up version and I definitely prefer the non-lace up but don't see it for the 6. I bought the 4, 5 and 6 in size 8, my normal size, and found the 6 to actually be a little tight so glad I didn't go down a size.

I agree with others that these are a bit difficult to get in and out of, but I love them anyway. I teach elementary school and more and more teachers are going to sneaker type shoes to save their feet. These are really comfortable so I'll take the struggle to get them on and off.

I had been looking for a new running shoe to replace my Merrell Bare Access Flex from 3-4 years ago that is just worn about through as I'm training for a 50K and having a terrible time ... Over the past 2 years I tried a few other brands of well known running shoes - never comparing to my Bare Access shoes in comfort. I was skeptical to buy another pair of Merrell because the reviews were saying size down 1/2 size in this shoe and the vapor glove and being a 5 that's not a possibility for me. So glad I finally did. These are amazing. I've had them for a week and run some rugged trails as well as some easy dirt roads and they have been amazing. No hot spots, no blisters, no rocks stabbing through, I can still feel the ground and the contours under foot, and they grip rock. So happy with them.

These my third pair of Merrill Glove running shoes, which I have been wearing for 9 years and I love them. I decided to try them on a 6 day backpacking trip and I do not recommend them for the rough trails of the Sierra Nevadas, expecially if you are backpacking. They are great for hiking and running in dirt paths or city streets, but should not used in place of trail shoes or boots. The bottoms of my feet were very sore by the end of our trip and I actually had a blister form the steep downhill, rocky swtchbacks we were on. I still love the shoes but there is a lot of chatter about hiking in trail runners instead of boots and I would not recommend that. My ankles were fine, the bottoms of my feet were not.

I bought these about a month ago and I have been wearing them daily! I wear them to the gym, walks, trail walks and even out and about. I love how they are simple, not filled with cushion and wide. Purchased a 7.5 and an 8 and kept the 7.5! Highly recommend if your sick of fluffy and cushion filled shoes. These changed my life! :)

I think the overall style and comfort of this shoe is great, but if I’m walking trails in these, I would need a half size up. I’m a true size 9 but would need some room for an extended trail walk as my toe is at the very end, that would probably eventually cause discomfort or blisters. Unfortunately, a 9.5 is out of stock right now on Zappos. Otherwise, I think these are a very sturdy yet also flexible shoe for comfortable walking. I have narrow feet with no arch - these might be tight on someone with normal to wide feet, and I would consider using insoles if you need them since the existing arch is very minimal.

I sized down half a size..typically 8.5 but the 8 was perfect. Use them as an every day shoe I like them so much. Hope they're back in stock soon..I'll be ordering another pair!
