Love the design, however these feel a little tight in the width compared to my other Merrells.

It's a comfortable all purpose shoe, runs true to size.

Finally a pair of shoes wide enough for my feet. To me this is it's claim to fame. In recent years manufacturer's have been making narrower and narrower shoes. Which has been causing my feet great discomfort and pain. I am very glad this pair is roomy enough. Only four stars because there is no Gore-Tex layer for water proofing and they are not so great on Icy surface in-spite of having Vibram out soles.

Overall, it seems like a quality shoe. I have two tips however. The Men's M width is not equal to a Woman's wide width as those sizes have historically been defined. Also the size chart is off by half a size. This Men's size 8 is more like a Woman's 9.5...not a ten. Finally, I am a little sad that the colors are not as vibrant as they are in the picture. The Night Sky pattern is really very subtle.

Fun looking pair of shoes. Had to really loosing strings since shoe had a tight fit. Hopefully they will soften up a bit. I was reluctant to return for a wide fit since I usually find wide sizes too big. My other four pairs of Merrell tennis shoes are all 12M and fit perfectly. Again, hopeful I can quickly break these in! I love Merrell shoes, only second to Ecco. These really caught my eye and hope they will be fun shoes to wear around my grandkids!

Very comfortable and fun colored shoe! I really wanted it to work for me but unfortunately it just wasn't wide enough.

Have the first version Nova size 9, very comfortable. These Nova 2 fit slightly less roomy, for my size 9 narrow foot, but so far acceptable. Seem fairly well made for airy, light shoe. I use as casual every day shoe. Not sure how well they would hold up rugged trail use.

These met my expectations. The shoes fit well, true to my size (10), and are comfortable for all day wear with good support.

Larger than expected according to size. Width is good, but it is definitely longer than any other brand's equivalent size. Material at top of shoe started fraying after 3 weeks of wearing it. I was using it outdoors, but that's what it is supposed to be made for. Had a different pair of Merrel shoes that were very robust, so I'm disappointed that these are basically ruined after a month.

They feel great walking over slick rocks. They grip really well. Comfortable but can get a little hot.

Great shoe. Wanted something that would breath in the hot humid south. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Sole is very grippy for trail or sand running or walking. Very comfortable show to just wear casually as well.

They are very comfortable and I love the vibrant sole. I use them primarily for disc golf, so having the sole that won't wear down is a must. Very good traction on most every surface I've been over, with the exception of some wet patches of thick grass/weeds on a fairly steep decline. Only reason I am not giving five stars is because on the one hike I went on they didn't provide quite as much rearfoot stability. Going over uneven rocks on slopes caused me to roll my ankle several times. May happen with any low rise shoe, but felt a little less supportive than most low cut trail shoes I've worn. Overall great shoe and would recommend.

Comfortable and well fitting. This shoe gets plenty of cool complements. The only complaint was the insert kept sliding back up my heel which was easily fixed with a spot of glue.

Had my novas for approx 2-ish months and love wearing them for runs and working out! Still waiting for the weather to get a little warmer before I try them out hiking and trail running. So far so good! Would for sure recommend!

A little bit stiffer shoe than I'm used to, however great stability. I am a woman who orders men's shoes because of large feet. I typically wear a men's 10, but would go down a half size on these as it is a very roomy toe box.

I love these shoes when they are in good shape, but I've had 2 pairs now and they do not last long on the type of Rocky Mountain terrain I am normally on. I got my 2nd pair free from Merrell after my first didn't even make it through a full summer hiking season before the soles starting deteriorating. The replacement pair they sent did even worse, only making it to the beginning of August before becoming unusable. It's such a shame because I love the shoes but I don't want to have to replace them every 3-4 months. Maybe the Nova 3's are better, but I'll probably look at other brands.

Haven't had them for long and the left shoe already has some fraying on it. Haven't even had a chance to go for a run in them. Just long walks.

I've been a Merrell customer for many years, but am disappointed with the build quality of the last few pairs I've tried, including the Nova 2. Though SUPER comfortable and stylish out of the box, various fabrics on the shoes have worn out much quicker than they should have. I've only had these for four months, with light use a few days a week around town (NO trail runs/hiking) and already the mesh around the ball of my foot where the shoe flexes has worn thin. It is only a matter of time until there is a hole in the mesh on either side of my foot. Also, my heels have begun to wear a hole on the inside of the heel cup. Both problems are totally unacceptable given the light use I've put them through. I really hope these issues have been addressed with the Nova 3s. If so, I'd definitely consider buying them again since they were so comfortable and fit my needs perfectly.

I bought a pair of Nova 2 in May 2022. I'm pretty easy on my footwear and generally wear these on light errands a couple of times a week as well as on my evening walks. So I can't say they get heavy use that would tax the duration of their life beyond normal. The pros: the construction and soles have been of good quality and have held up well. The cons: the footbed hasn't really retained its quality as long as I feel it should have. Keep in mind I've had them 9 months. Will I buy them again? Maybe....but I'm thinking twice, though. I like the shoes. They're very comfortable when you first try them on and generally comfortable (although a little hard, feeling wise) when you walk. I just don't know that the footbed after 9 months of easy/casual use is what it should be at this juncture. I also probably would get the wide next time. The fit on these isn't as wide as the standard Moab.
