I 100% wear a size 10. They didn't fit so I ordered a 10.5 and they feel as tight on the toe as the 10s. I have NEVER in my life worn an 11. Not sure I'm going to try.

I was very stuck between 3 and 4 stars. Unfortunately, after only a few weeks of ownership I'm close to 1/4 way through the tread in the ball of the foot. The shoes have a lot of grip, on concrete and hard pack but I wouldn't wear them biking or on wet earth. Overall they're light and comfortable. They don't breathe super well, and I'll likely burn through them in 3-4 months of ownership.

Comfortable, good fit but seem rather poorly constructed, flimsy.

I was expecting a more of a boot type shoe.
I like the shoe was expecting something different.

Almost all my shoes are Merrill’s. They always fit right until these. Should have been more careful. Should have sent them back. I’ll probably trash them .

This is a lighter though not sleeker version of the standard Moab hiker. It is definitely lighter, has more color options, but it does feel less stable and the footbed is not what I'm used to from my Ventilators or even my Gore-Tex versions. After a day of being in them, my feet needed a break. Haven't run in them yet, but it will be interesting to see how the height off the ground affects stability and comfort.

I bought the mids, very comfortable, lightweight. The first month the skin right in front of the heel tore. Tear was only maybe a inch, it did degrade the waterproof efficiency. I ended up using superglue to close the tear. The rubber heal in contact with the ground peeled off. The padding around the ankle has split open. All this damage has happened withing a four month period. This is all on one boot.

Was excited to try these on in the store and loved the way they fit so much I bought 2 pair. They are super comfortable and provide a lot of cushion and are great for me with working on my feet all day. They are lightweight and the soles have good traction. They wear true to size and fit my feet great. The only problem is the design of the heel of the sole. When walking in water or puddles or in the rain the sole kicks up water and dirt up the back of my leg up to and past my knee. I have to pay close attention to how I walk and go super slow to try to prevent it from happening. Now winter is coming and there's slush and snow and ice melt all around my work and I am getting blue ice melt slush kicking up the back of my legs and on my pants. I think it's only cause of the extended lip area at the rear of the shoe. Bummer cause these were so comfortable. Time to find another style of shoe/boot to wear.

I am a huge proponent of Merrell footwear. I have several pairs of Merrell shoes, I wear them intensely and the last and last.
I am now on my second pair of Moab Speeds, an incredibly comfortable shoe, worth the cost. Unfortunately the lack durability. The sole material is of a much lesser material than other shoes. I wore my first pair out in about two months. The soles just we gone. I'll see how my second pair holds up.
I would highly recommend that Merrell consider replacing the current more porous bottom sole material with a denser rubber. It would drastically increase the value of this otherwise wonderful shoe!!!

The shoe was heavy, and "bulky " compared to other trail running shoes I have from Merrell. Not a comfortable fit. The design of the sole seemed to be the problem.

Not a very comfortable shoe. The inside roof of the shoe is hard/rough and uncomfortable to walk with for more than 1 hour.

Not a bad shoe but they would be better with more durable for foot cushioning.

Not for me, narrow in the heel area, caused large blister on a first walk, feet felt unsteady because of the heel sole design

Less than a season in and these are downright dangerous on steep declines. The heel is way too cushioned for descents that require tight switchbacking, not helped by knit collar that offers zero support. Surprised by the good reviews. Definitely not safe for rugged trails.

I bought these several months ago and noticed that both shoes have developed a wear spot where the toe portion flexes. Similar locations on each shoe. I love these shoes with their cloud-like heel protection but am a bit saddened by the material wear.

Sizing is off compared to the very consistent year on year Merrell's. Right shoe is too small against all other Merrell's I have of the same size. (I currently own active 6 pairs of foot ware from Merrell and must have had over 30 pairs historically.) Left shoe has a click to it when you walk. Sadly not up to the regular high standard.

I love Merrills but these shoes are uncomfortable. I can't wear them so I gave them to a homeless shelter after I wore them for a few hours.

I was disappointed when I received the shoes, finding their detailing to appear cheap, and their innersoles too hard, especially for a "walking" shoe.

I have several pairs of Merrells and these are the least comfortable. The toe box isn't wide enough, the front of the shoe slants at a funny angle. Not as important but the shoe laces are useless; they're slippery and don't stay done up even when double knotted. Even less important but the white part that curls up on the front of the shoe is unattractive. These shoes would look much better with a black sole.

I have been wearing other Moab shoes for years always a size 9 wide and never had a problem. I purchased a pair of 9 wide Moab Speed a couple months ago and just recently wore them for the first time. They do not fit properly in the toe box. I would not purchase them again.

These would be great if your heel didn't want to jump out of the shoe with every step. Maybe it's a break in thing, but I'm not taking the chance.

I have purchased three pairs of Moab hiking shoes previous to the Moab Speed. The Moab Speed are not nearly as comfortable to wear with a harsher cushion layer under the foot and a more pointy and more restrictive toe box. Definitely not as comfortable to wear as the original Moabs...Still wearing my old Moabs for hiking and the Speeds for short walks with the Roz the Welshie
