The most comfortable trail/hiking shoe so far. The tread almost completely wore out withing 3 month, but I did put in at least 50 miles on some moderately rugged trails in Arizona.

The shoe is still a bit narrow in the forefoot, unlike most Merrill shoes. Otherwise it works well on the trail

I live in the Pacific Inland North West - I bought a pair of (Moab Speed) in the winter due to the waterproofing and tread, they are light-weight and flexible for indoor and outdoor activities. I"m satisfied with the versatility of the shoes, but not very happy about the absorbency of the insoles that come with the Moab. I've noticed the insoles hold moister; the wet and freezing weather cause my feet get really cold indoor or outdoor, I'm on my feet a lot and work mostly indoors. I've had to take out the insoles and ran them through the dryer on a few occasions but the cold/damp feeling from the insoles is tiresome and I feel that for the price this shouldn't be a problem.

I like these shoes, but they stretched after wearing them for a few weeks. So, I'd say they run quite big.

A bit too narrow- rubbed on my pinky toe and the ball of the foot near my big toe.

Nice comfortable shoe but the black piece by the toe is already separating after a couple weeks of wearing.

They are nice shoes but they would be better if waterproof.

Although I have a few other pairs of Merrells, I needed something to play Pickleball. The Speeds seem to work well for this as I am now the World's Okayest Pickleball Player!
The shoes are light and comfortable and provide good traction for the sudden stops and starts.

Have bought many Merrell sneakers in the past and all have lived up to expectations! The Merrell Moab Speeds' have become the most comfortable pair of "sneakers" I have ever purchased. Like the subtle colors (Lichen) and cross-training looks. FYI- I rarely give anything a 5 star rating. While the price of Merrell's are on the high side, the quality and comfort in the Moab Speeds' are worth the extra money!

It's a nice shoe, but I expected more comfort (in comparison with other leading Trail Running shoes).

True to fit. Very comfortable but firm enough to give support in rough terrain. No break in period needed and very pleased over all.

Good fit and comfortable, I use them for trail walking. I have had them for a couple of months and so far they are holding up well.

I bought a pair of these when they first came out and I have to say... pretty darn surprised at how well they've done. I'm a 6'3" and 265lbs... so I tend to wear boots out really quick... particularly the tread. However, after a ton of desert hiking in AZ and UT... they outlasted the the souls on my old pair of Keens. However, tread wear is still much quicker than the old traditional moabs... those are like dozer treads! The traction is pretty incredible with these if you do alot of rock scrambling. They're definitely a light hiker... I wouldn't want to wear a pack of any weight with these.
Only I had is the heel loop ripped off a couple uses in due to some bad stitching. I just cut the heel loop off the other shoe and kept on using them for another year and a half.

I ordered these a couple days ago and received them today; I was very happy with the product.
However, they fit 1/2 a size too large. These also have a decent arch, with a flat sort of cushion that will allows the shoe to better fit to the runners foot shape over time; this will make them last longer.
The flat cushioning slants downward and will
break in more over the arch after enough time on the trail. I've got wide feet and have always worn 12's; started getting 11.5's these past 2 years for skateboarding because it's good to have as much board feel as possible / they're built flat to fit to the board. I've ordered 2 pairs of NB trail runners, both size 12's that I wore forever - using them for more shoes after they'd had their time on the various trails explored. They also felt a bit large, but ended up cradling my feet perfectly. I'm not too worried about these Moab Speed shoes being to large, I feel as though they will shape to my feet just fine when I pack them in a bit. Only time will tell; going to order the Nova 2's in 11.5 next month; I've got 32 more of the NH48 to hike this spring/summer/fall - and we'll see which shoe/fit ends up working out better.
If you have skinny feet, definitely order a 1/2 size smaller; wide feet will make up for the larger size over time - but skinny feet will feel as though these are nearly a full size too large when first lacing up.

Wore only for work right now. Run somewhat gig & wide. Ordered a 9 1/2 & probably could have gone down to a 9. Very comfortable though.

Just completed some Southern Utah exploration, including Cottonwood Slot Canyon as well as Peekaboo and Spookie on the Hole in the Rock road. Very nice trip. Love the shoes. Strange that my prior pair was a size 13 and this pair was too big at 13 so I ordered a 12. The 12 was a tough too short but not bad. Good shoes.

They are comfortable shoes, but unfortunately not all Merrill's come it wide sizes, so I had to order a size larger to get a good fit.
I REALLY wish ALL Merrill's had the WIDE option. It would make a great shoe a perfect shoe!

Feels good and the comfort is different than their hiking shoes. Better on grass and trail than on concert IMO. Not a bad shoe for the price.
