Die hard fan of the first couple vapor glove iterations, but 3-4 on, they made changes that seemed to stray away from the whole idea behind these type of shoes. I never thought I would be buying a pair of the newest gloves.
These are remarkably close to the original feel, I love the sock-like inner/upper, and I appreciate the extra reinforcement above and inside the big toe area.

I have been buying Vapor gloves for 5 years now and this is the best model yet. Durable and comfortable and a genuine barefoot experience. Great for the gym or paved running path.

These are my new commute to the college campus I work. #RestoringFeet
Love them but needed to order 1/2 size larger than I normally do.

The best lightweight I have purchased. They exceeded my expectations. They are great for daily use, running, and workouts. Also an excellent shoe for the weekend warrior autocross / rallycross driver. Excellent feedback from the gas / brake / clutch pedal! I purchased the rock and black and going to purchase the olive as well. I am considering purchasing a backup of each color also. When a shoe store measures my feet I am a size 11US and "normal" or medium width. I purchased size 10.5US based on some reviews I read and they fit perfectly. I highly recommend!

These are my daily use shoes- I wear them both inside the house, when out and about, and on 2-3 mile walks for exercise. I have an older worn pair that I wear when doing weight lifting. The uppers on these barefoot shoes wear out long before the soles do (I am 80 years old).

A second pair of Vapor Glove 5 shoes I purchased today, because I find it to be an excellent barefoot shoe. A larger second pair is needed because my feet increase in size when daily mileage and intensity increase.
Having worn Vapor Glove and Trail Glove shoes since their introduction, I appreciate how the designs have evolved and improved. The design, fit, and materials are excellent.
The Vapor Gloves I use for all forms of exercise because they allow me to correct old injuries and improve my feet and ankles.
Some mobility exercises roll the foot over onto the upper, and the main upper material is holding up very well, while allowing great ventilation for the feet. Those mobility exercises are beginning to pull off the upper edge of the TPU protecting the little toe area. This is a small matter which I believe I can readily fix.
Because of the shape of my feet, sometimes the top edge of a shoe's tongue slides down a smidge as the shoes are being put on. A gentle tug quickly corrects.
Wear on the trailing edge of the left heel where two internal seams meet has been encouraged by an old injury of that foot causing too much heel contact or scuffing. The barefoot design is helping me to correct this old injury.
These are excellent barefoot shoes

I have been a runner for 9 years and these shoes are my favorite as no rocks can get in and they are very well designed.

I wanted something ultra-lightweight for my backpack during long distance rides on my road bike. After 83 miles to New York City I pulled my cleated shoes off and put these on for the subway and train ride back home. They did not did disappoint. Before I decided on these, I must have tried 4 or 5 other shoes - none of which came close. These ticked all the boxes.

Extremely comfortable, light, and - so far - durable.
I've been wearing zero-drop shoes for several years now and these are perhaps the best I've had to date.
I was worried about fitting my wide toes into these, but they really seem to fit like a glove - as in, they're flexible enough to accommodate my foot shape and have taken to it after several weeks of wearing.
I've been using these for everything. (hiking, walking, travel, etc.)

Super lightweight and as close to a barefoot feel as you can get outside of the "toe shoes". The only drawback is that loose gravel or rocky terrain is really tough on your feet. I've been wearing this model since they came out a few years ago and I would recommend them to anyone looking to take a more minimalist or barefoot approach to running/hiking.

Out of all the versions of Vapor Gloves thus far, liking this one the most! There's just enough sole so that you don't feel smaller rocks. I've had some issues with another pair that I had, but reached out to customer service and they took care of everything. Great company and product!

This is my second pair of the Vapor Glove. They are light and minimal. The sole is though (the soles on my older pair was still in good shape after many hundreds of miles). It is also zero-drop which helps with maintaining a natural stride. The sole is thin, so you can feel the surface beneath you - not fun when you step on a rock, but I avoid those. It also has plenty of room for the foot and toes to spread, so there's no need to go for a bigger size.

I cant say enough about the vapor gloves shoes most people don't even realize they are the all around best cycling shoe. the weight and the ability to dry easily and the way they allow me to bend my toes and grab my pedals at the same time... honestly they should look into that market because I am not the first cyclist to figure this out.

The Vapor Gloves continue to meet my minimalist running needs. I've tried other brands of minimalist shoes and Merrell, hands down, is the best out of all of them. Please continue this make this line forever!!!

I had no idea these shoes existed until last week. The instant I slipped these on my feet I was hooked! I always had issues with skinny running shoes with my wide feet. It feels like Merrell used my foot to create these! They really are like a glove! Not to mention they are head turners. I see strangers look at my feet and all my friends comment on them. On the road they are incredibly comfortable, they reduce heel striking, and strengthen my feet. I will never buy another brand of shoe again, mark my words! Merrell for life! (Now it's time to run so hard that Merrell will sponsor me on the trails! wink wink).

Have owned for three + years before now considering replacing with another pair. Mine are trashed but still usable. Soles hold up extremely well (25+ miles/week running & daily wear). Added Solomon Speed Laces early on and they are fire and forget, pull on and go footwear. .

I use them for running and weight lifting. Perfect for me. They hold up to whatever debris is on the road and they keep your feet flat to the ground when lifting weights in the gym! Also easy to pack into your backpack.
