Great minimal shoe. Plenty of toe room. Fits true to size. Holding up well so far 50 miles in. Will buy again.

Very comfortable, easy to slip on. Thin sole let's you feel the ground while offering sharp stone protection.

Never can assume what "fits" one will "fit" another but these fit my feet like a glove! They are comfortable, stylish, yet not too flamboyant, and seem to be incredibly supportive, in spite of their thinness, for back and posture benefits. The laces are strong and sturdy as is the overall material. Haven't even worn them for an "official" hike or nature walk yet. But plenty of gravel, grass and pavement walking has been excellent in them. The only downfall, which is isolated to my mere home entrance pathway, is that they absorb the little tree fallen berry-like seeds and I'm constantly bringing them inside the home Not an issue for most nor a deterrent for these great Merrell's!

Great pair of barefoot shoes they fit good, a little stiff around the ankles but over time they will soften so far these shoes are good.

So far so good, The trail glove was my favorite runner and lasted a long time. Eventually wore through the sole using them on the road Switched to Xero's however they fell apart and IMO are not worth the money Vapor glove feels like the Xero's but the quality seems to be way better Time will tell

Wearing Merrell's Vapor Gloves, I feel like I'm in some alternate version of the Emperor's New Clothes, just waiting for some little kid to look at me and scream, "but he hasn't got anything on his feet!"

Love these shoes, they are so comfortable, put a T-100 Protalus insert in them for extra support ( Achilles problems) , use them to work out and stretch. Feel like I'm walking with nothing on. Get great grip of the ground these are perfect for me. Found them more comfortable than trail glove.

I was surprised with how flexible these are and how much I can feel the ground with them on. They are also very well built and seem quite durable. I think the quality you get for the price you pay is one of the best deals on the minimalist shoe market.

I am on my 3rd pair of vapor glove 5s, they have done wonders for my plantar fasciitis (don't listen to doctors!) Barefoot is best! BUT- This time i tried the 'Rock', and they are not as blue as the picture so I am kind of disappointed that they are more grey doesn't go great with browns and greens and i wear a lot of fall colors. But variety is the spice of life, so I'll love them when I wear black/grey/white

Wanted to try these out. Wasn't sure how they would be since there isn't much of a sole but, they are comfortable. I can wear them all day long. I will definitely buy another pair after this pair

This is my 6th pair of Vapors I've owned. This sock design created a little more real estate in the shoe and it still feels great when I run and train in them however, the one-piece sock design created creases in the tongue area. As a result, the sometimes pinches the top of the foot and the general aesthetics have suffered when they are being worn. The quality of laces is an upgraded I like the new more subtle color selection

I wear the vapor glove when practicing Taoist Tai Chi. They weigh nothing, are completely flexible, do not distort contact with the floor by having a raised heel, allow my foot to spread naturally with a generous toe box, and have a grip sufficient to keep my foot from squirming around when my form is a little off. I love them for this. I might practice barefoot except that at my age I'm losing my padding on the soles of my feet, but the vapor glove distributes the pressure on my foot enough that I can practice for hours without discomfort.

I am a multi day hiker and wanted a light camp shoe. The neoprene makes it easy to slip in your foot into them. These are actually lighter than the 5 fingers i usually wear.

Comfortable and bio-mechanically healthy, I've been a devotee of barefoot footwear since my first Road Glove circa 2012. I bought the Vapor Glove not as a running shoe but as a lightweight, easily packable travel shoe. In black, the styling is subdued enough for casual social occasions as well as hiking about. I did take a sharpie to the conspicuous Merrell logo though--bit too garish for me. I ordered true to size and am pleased with the fit. Unlike the Trail Glove the Vapor has no intrusive and distracting arch support. You get minimal stack height with good ground feel. The Vibram outsole is softer and more pliable than expected with smaller lugs that may be inadequate in trail conditions. I've also noticed the shoes tendency to squeak but it's only a bother if scuffing or pivoting on tiled or linoleum floors; when walking normally it's not an issue. Not owning these shoes long I can't comment on durability but will say this about price: the Vapor Glove is among the least expensive barefoot shoes commonly available.

The vapor Glove 5 have been great shoes for my 4-times a week training in easy trails and parks. They super comfortable and quick to fit and go and, because of their flexibility and lightness are very handy to carry in your backpack everywhere. The sole is very thin and fulfill my expectations of a barefoot shoe, you don't have any support and will feel the surface you running. Strong enough will still protect you when stepping on small rocks, but I would not recommend them for running a very rough surface. I ran with rain and were good too. It took about 3 weeks of using to feel them perfectly comfortable as the tip of the toe felt a bit too tight, but once the shoe is broken out they feel perfect. Overall a great shoe that I expect will last for some good time.

The vapor glove 5 is a quality shoe. Its really Comfortable for a barefoot style shoe. The shoe is made of quality materials as it was able to handle hours of walking in Mexicos unimproved rocky roads. I felt great contact with the ground the whole time, even while ascending/ descending slopes.

Love that they're so light. Also, the elastic tongue makes them very easy to put on and take off. And the sole is very "sticky" and squeaks like a good pair of court shoes. Very comfortable and practical.
