Fit and size were fine. Were not comfortable on my feet.

Too small

I ordered a size 42. I’m a 42.5 and these were small for me. I’ve learned that most shoes don’t stretch with time so I wasn’t going to take a chance with them. The in soles also felt funny. I know there’s supposed to be arch support but I felt pressure at the front of my feet.

I love Birks. I wear Birk inserts in many of my shoes. I've even been able to find sandal styles for my narrow foot and was excited to have a pair of closed Birk shoes that came in narrow. But sadly the footbed didn't fit like a Birkenstock should. There's an arch support area missing in these sneakers. Bummed. I'm an 8.5 inn most B width shoes? I wear 39 or 40N in Birkenstocks depending on the style and cut.

I ordered these in the same size I always wear in Birkenstocks to replace a worn out pair of the same make and model that I purchased 2 years ago. Definitely too small, holding it sole to sole, it was a full 1/2 inch shorter than my first pair. The liner inside also had even less arch support than my old ones still have. These are just not the same, not sure if they changed manufacture or if defective. I returned them.

Bends are not the same comfort level as Birkenstock Sandals. I do not know why there are so many positive reviews. I am a teacher, and I live in Birkenstock Sandals. I find Bends heavy, stiff, and constricting. They may be comfortable for short periods of wear, but they are not good for an 8 hour work day. I think less expensive Hey Dude's Karina are a much more comfortable shoe.

Not offered in Regular width and narrow just won't do

This Birkenstock order was delivered in a plain cardboard box with no Birkenstock box/packing and the shoes appeared to have been in used condition. I was charged full price of $140.
