Fabric is sturdy but flexible. The foot bed is just the right amount of space. The sole is heavier than expected, so I returned them. I was looking for a very light shoe. This is a great shoe, just not what I was looking for.

I LOVE this sneaker..I like my shoes wide but the narrow width is very comfortable. Finally a pair of non running sneakers that I can wear without orthotics and can walk all day. Debating on buying another pair because I am sure they will discontinue...seems to be my luck when I find th perfect sneaker.

Love these. I’ve had many Birkenstock sandals and clogs, but I’m always hesitant about a lace up shoe as one of my feet is always swollen and has a high instep. These were wide enough and very comfortable from day one. I’ll probably be ordering another pair soon.

This is the greatest shoe! I am delighted that Birk made a non-sandal shoe! Great closed toe style and same Birk comfort. Win-win!

Love these! I take a 37 in Birkenstock sandals but 38 fit me better in the Bend. Was only able to get the Narrow, and they were plenty roomy. Had foot surgery on both feet and have arthritis in feet, these fit great!! And so comfy. Love the blue.

Seems weird to wear a sneaker that is a Birkenstock! Having said that, however, the traditional Birkenstock foodbed feels more comfortable in a sneaker than it does in their traditional sandals. But, that's just me...

They are beautiful shoes, but I don't like the way they look on my feet.

Very comfortable but don’t buy if you’re a half size. I’m a 10.5 and tried both a 10 and 11. Neither worked.

Super comfortable. I can stand and walk in these shoes all day long. They’re my favorite casual shoe. I typically wear the cork shoe and these were an easy transition. I look forward to getting another pair.

I ordered a 38 (my normal birk size) and they were a full size too big. I would recommend sizing down one!

Love the canvas and the navy color. These are so comfy. Plenty of arch support and the same Birk footbed that I suspect will get more and more comfy over time.

These fit like all my Birkenstock sandals. I love the wide toe base. They are comfortable and look fun!

It has good arch support and are comfortable. Right size. The only thing I didn’t like is that the no show socks come off, so I have to wear them with a little higher socks.

Love the color blue, will go with everything. I am an average width so was very concerned about having to pick wide or narrow. I choose narrow because will be using a thin sock or no socks. They are very stylish.

I was looking for a shoe with a wide toe box that doesn't look like a shoe with a wide toe box -- these pretty much do that and are comfortable and I trust Birkenstocks to work for me. I do wish, when spending 150 dollars on a pair of sneakers, that they might arrive clean and not covered in cat hair. I don't know if that means Zappos should do a better quality check of returns, or if the person returning the shoes could just spare a thought to the next person to get them, or maybe both things could happen! But it does make the expenditure a bit less fun, when I get to clean the very expensive shoes I just purchased.

These were super comfy but the length was off for me as the end at the toe was a bit stiff and boxy.

Fit consistent with size, run somewhat wide like Birkenstocks do, but were heavy feeling and sole felt very stiff, didn’t bend well with walking.

I think the fit was true to size except that I ordered a 9 which is what I wear in sneakers and obviously should have ordered a size 81/2 which is my usual size. So these must be returned.

I bought some Birkenstock canvas sneakers a few years ago and wore them out. This style is much more bulky and fit loose even though the size was narrow. Excellent craftmanship. Just not the shoe for me.

I ordered the size I get for sandals, and they were just a smidgen too short. I ordered the 42’s, and they were perfect! I need high arch support, so I will be adding some additional arch support.

This is my third pair of Bends. I wear size 7.5 Narrow, have bunions on both big toes, and very flat feet. The toe-box has plenty of room to accommodate my strange feet. The Bend comes with the original Birkenstock footbed — perfect for me after a day-or-so break-in period.. My latest purchase is the Sandcastle color — a real spring/summer neutral that pairs with beiges, tans, even white. Love them!

I really liked these and wanted to keep them. They were very comfortable for this type of fashion tennis shoe but I would not be able to wear all day. I have RA with fused toes and nerve damage so I go for the "most comfortable". However, they are more comfy than my 2 pairs of Sofft fashion sneakers and I would have kept these if I didn't already have the 2 Sofft pairs.
