Really enjoying my runs in the new Mach 4. The balance of cushion to responsiveness is perfect for me. They feel a bit more nimble than the Clifton and more comfortable than the Rincon to me.

This shoe is the perfect combination of plush and responsive for your daily trainer and long run shoe. At this point, I've done recovery runs, hills, and a 12 mile long run in them, and they have provided excellent comfort that leave my feet and legs fresh and ready for the next run.

I really love the light weight and comfort of this shoe. It is incredibly forgiving on long easy runs.

This shoe is excellent on all accounts. However, you should order from a different website than hoka directly. Shoe's came in two different sizes and free ground shipping took 8 days (Fedex) to cross half the country. Had to buy another pair locally and return vs waiting yet another 7-10 days. Did not offer to expidite me a pair for my troubles.

i have held the Clifton 1 as the gold standard for a long time now even though it is too narrow and i lose toenails but my initial impression of the Mach 4 is that it is a contender. i have gotten used to Clifton 6's and Rincons but it's nice to get back to that springy feel. so far i like it so much it gets 5 stars even though i have two criticisms of the shoe: 1 is that is does not have enough structure to provide stability descending. my feet get smashed forward and it feels floppy. need to work on lacing but that may also have to do with 2 - i don't get the flared heel cup. the heel fit is sloppier than Rincon and the flare is like a funnel for rocks and stuff on the trail. i could see it's probably great for ppl with cankles but i have chicken legs and need that ring to hold the foot in. def need to give them more miles to really get a full review but Hoka asked so here you are!

I saw a Youtuber review these shows a couple of months ago and knew I had to get them when they came out and will never regret it. I've only run in them once on a 9 mile run and they felt great.

Great 1st run of the year

Use it as an everyday trainer, short and long runs.

I've been through a lot of running shoes over the last 3 years looking for THE running shoe. I've even had a few other Hokas in that mix as well. As an older and heavier runner, and with the aches and pains that come with my renewed vigor for running, most all of the daily trainers I've tried have eventually disappointed in one way or another. The new Hoka Mach 4's arrived today and after my first run in them, they are an absolute delight in every aspect! They soft but not too soft - they lock down and fit fantastic - and I can go all speeds with no detriment. They appear to be exactly what I have been searching for - THE running shoe that will end my quest! Thank you Hoka! Please add more colors - I will buy others

Took this shoe out for 9 miles on the first run with a mix of easy and tempo miles, and it performed exactly how I'd expect any Hoka to. No break in period, and fit true to size, handled the various speeds and effort no problem. This shoe reminds me a lot of the Clifton. Similar fit with some bulk to it, yet very light and neutral feel. I like the combination of the two foams. The harder, rubberized outer added some response that is missing in the Clifton, but the softer foam right under foot kept me more comfortable than the Rincon does in the later miles of the run. I'm excited to have this as my new daily trainer. Great job, Hoka.

This is not an update this is a whole different shoe and I'm glad I gave it a try. Whereas the previous iterations felt anemic to me this one really comes to life. It feels light and the cushioning feels very defined and springy which was a surprise. This just became my up tempo favorite.

These shoes were a bit firmer than I was expecting. I like my other pair which are Clifton's. I ordered directly from Hoka and was surprised when I opened the box as the wrong color was sent. I didn't bother sending them back due to the inconvenience.

It is a good show. You will get average miles out of it. Soft bottoms will be smooth by 400 miles

I ordered the exact model of shoe in a different color and it was bigger than the shoe I had, it looks and feels like a size 9 rather than size 8.5. Otherwise shoe is great, nice color and comfortable aside from being too big.

Style, colors, cushion, light. But feels a bit too tight on the sides.

Love Hoka soles ! However, the last pair of sneakers grew holes on the top of each sneaker in 90 days. They didn't last a year. These latest pair are still on parole. Feeling nice but durability is still being tested.

They are supportive and have good grip. I was worried about the foam sole, but they are solid so far.

Great shoe but brand graphics are too much. Reduce or eliminate text.
