They are the perfect fit and love the design in the fabric. I get so many compliments and they are so comfortable!

I currently only run 30-35 miles a week on the road. I came from the Ghost 12/13 line prior to the Mach 4 and it is the most incredible switch I could have ever done. I had a bit of shin splint with the Ghosts and it went away with the Mach 4. The energy return is unlike anything I've ever felt. One thing I've noticed as well is the 5mm drop compared to the 12mm helped a lot with becoming more of a mid-foot striker. I experienced a little soreness in my hips after my first long run in the shoes, which is probably due to my own fault of my hips being neglected running in the Ghosts. I wear a size 8 (41 1/3) Men's in Salomon and Brooks, but had to go a half size up for the Mach4 to a size 8.5 (42). There was no break in period, these shoes were ready to go right out of the box. Also helps that they look incredible.

I have used this shoe on several 15 to 20 mile runs and it keeps my feet feeling great and is a little faster than my normal long distance shoe.

I've been running in Bondi's for the last several years and loved all 8 pairs of them I've burned through.
I decided to try something a little different this time for all of my road training runs.
The first thing I noticed was how freaking light these shoes are! Especially compared to my Bondi's.
I'm 50 miles in on these shoes so far and really like the feel of these shoes. Might have to try a pair of those Carbon X's now!

I'm very particular about running shoes. I've gone through 3 pairs of the now discontinued Mizuno Waveknit Wavesky 3, and hate the Wavesky 4. I've tried all the big named brands, but couldn't find something that was perfect for me. The Mach 4 not only has filled the void, but has taken center stage. My final pair or Wavesky 3 are sitting in a corner with 200+ miles left on them as I run almost daily in the Mach 4.

For the last few months my runs have been stuck in a bit of a rut. The Mach 4s (first Hoka shoes I've owned) have gotten me out of the rut and my pace is better than ever

I've run in Hokas for over 8 years
Won a USATF 24 hour National Championship wearing them in 2018
The Mach 4 is the best Hoka to date. Like running on pillows

Fast shipping, and shoe fit perfectly right out of the box. Plenty of support and padding, yet light.

Light weight and good cushion. Tread doesn't wear as fast as some of the other Hoka shoes.

I bought the Elevon-2 for running, and it was so spectacular, I bought these for walking around.

One of the best running shoes I've ever worn! I've already put 50 miles on them in the past week and a half and they feel amazing.

I got this instead the Clifton 7 which I felt they were too soft and I love them because even when I am run relax without focusing on speed they still push me forward so every run it's a fun one. The fit it's perfect and the laces are not too long as I read in several reviews. Very comfortable shoe that keeps you moving forward.

I and 53, 6'3 and 190 pounds, and run about 30 miles a week. I love these shoes for everyday training. Light weight, good cushion, responsive, great fit, I cannot say enough good things about them. I highly recommend you check them out.

I am very pleased with my Mach 4 shoes. They have eliminated nagging pains in my ankles and knees. I run close to 50 miles a week and these shoes are great for both training and racing.

Did my first run yesterday in them and found them to be pretty amazing. Super light and comfortable shoe . I checked on 11km distance on uphill, downhill and flat surface and it was amazing everywhere . Pretty surprised to see my average pace on a easy run. Not a single moment I felt that I was pushing hard . Pretty happy with the purchase especially considering the price point. For me this is definetly one of my best purchases .

Normally run in cliftons which have been a bit too narrow for me recently (I've had 3-6). Sometimes they feel a bit too spongy too. Still like them a lot but I really like the Mach 4. It's got plenty of cushion, wider mid foot and toe box, and significantly more response. Snappy and springy as some reviewers have said. Very stable ride so far throughout 10 miles or so.

These are a great daily trainer choice, especially if you like your ride on the light cushioned-responsive side. Bought them as the Saucony Kinvara 12s are a little hard/flat for me, but I'm also 5'8 and 160+ pounds and a heel-striker. Mach4 fits about 0.5 size small for wider forefoot, so be warned! If you're a New Balance shoe wearer, be prepared to upside a half size, as the fit is a tighter race-flat feel on the upper. Just ran 13.1 miles in it (not a race) and it felt great; supportive and stable enough, but already showing wear on the back heel - that midsole outsole material will scuff pretty easily. Good grip though for now.
I'd also recommend:

I didn't realize how much inversion/eversion I was doing when running with my other Nike running shoes. The Mach 4 has definitely improved my running comfort and stability.

I think HOKA nailed it when they re-designed the Hoka Mach 4. It is all purpose shoe. Plenty of cushion. Good for long runs, tempo and even racing for some. Feels like the Carbon X without the plate. I would highly recommend this shoe. Even like the colors too. Thank you HOKA.
