The absolute perfect shoe for me. I've ran in a lot across different brands, and these are just special, in my opinion. They are an absolute workhorse -- light and springy enough for some speed days, cushioned and very comfortable for long runs, and can even be taken out on some slow/recovery days. I'll still lean towards something else on recovery days, but if needed, these can do it. Also, I have mild overpronation and these are perfect. The Clifton toe box is a little too wide and the ride just isn't stable enough for me BUT the Mach 4's provide a perfect amount of stability to lock down and give me an absolutely beautiful ride. These will be a go-to in my rotation, and 100% will purchase again. THANK YOU HOKA!

I got these due to the description. I've ran in the Bondi 5 as my long distance shoe. However, I decided to try these. After several workouts and miles, I am quite happy. Not one complaint. Only wished there were many more color selections like the Bondi and Clifton models.

I log about 50 miles a week and these shoes have been great. Highly recommend HOKA ... The Mach 4 is my third pair of HOKA's.

This is my second Hoka, the first being the Clifton 7. I'm a newer runner and just getting into finding the right shoes. I do lots of research and the Mach 4 kept coming up as a nice all around shoe. It certainly is. Very comfortable but can pick up the pace when needed and is very light. It fits like a glove but not too snug as the fabric is very flexible and breathable. I really enjoy the Mach 4. I would definitely purchase again.

This shoe is amazing. Perfect fit, lightweight, wide toe-box, thin upper and cool colors (glitch colors). I will definitely run the Boston Marathon in this shoe in the fall.

IT fits my foot really well and I use them for walking. I also recommend them to a young lady to try.

The Mach 4 is honestly the best running shoe I've used, period. Its lightweight and combined with Hoka's rocker sole technology it is easily my favorite go-to running shoe for sprints and long distance running. I live in the city so I encounter different types of terrain and this shoe is up for the job. Go get the Mach 4 asap!!

Went out for my first run with the new shoes yesterday and found them to be the best I have ever owned. Previous brands were Asics and Nike, both nowhere near as comfortable. The Hoka Mach 4 shoes were recommended to me by a shoe knowledgeable individual who heard good things about them, now I have recommended them to others as the best I have ever owned.

I'm actually not a runner (I lift weights, etc.) but I have been looking for a pair of stable super comfortable and lightweight shoes. These fit the bill very nicely! It is a bit of a weird feel at first but once I walked 50 or 100 steps they started to feel great. I just wish HOKA would steal a designer from Nike or Adidas to teach them how to design shoes and pick colorways... I got the black/white which are maybe the best looking HOKAs currently available but 1. The HOKA name is way too prominent (why not just use the logo?) and 2. Most of their colorways look like a blind person threw darts at a color chart. You make great shoes HOKA - just make them look better and you'll sell a lot more!

I use them through basic training and they are comfortable.

The best all around shoe I've used in 45 years of running. A really versatile shoe that handles long runs, tempo runs and intervals superbly. I always look forward to lacing up the Mach 4. A winner in my book.

When someone at the college level is looking for a shoe, they look for something that's diverse. Something that can be: supportive on easy days, light enough for tempo/fartlek runs, as well as something that is sustainable for a long run. This shoe is exactly that. My first pair lasted me about 2.5 months (50-55 mile weeks) and that was exactly what i was looking for. This shoe is not only light, it is also super responsive. I feel fresh after most runs and supported enough to think this is the right shoe for me and the runners like me. I've just ordered two more pairs. Please please please make the Mach 5 an exact replica of this shoe. Thank you times million HOKA.
