Very comfortable slightly wide. Perfect for stair master because does not have the forward step like some of your running sneakers. P

I use it to my work. I wasn't comfortable till now . I think the size it's small on my feet, even though it was my size. I would like to get it in wide size and maybe 8 1/2 rather than 8.

Because I use these everyday I would like the bottoms to be a dark color so they don't show the dirt so easily.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes I have worn

I have tried two other models since my last Gaviota, but decided to go back and ordered these. The footbed has changed. I've always worn athe same size in every model, but these are a little bit smaller in both length and width. They aren't too small, but next time I'll go up a size. That said, these are tremendous shoes. I don't think I could roll my foot if I tried. The support is as good as it gets. Consequently I can already see improvement in arthritic knees and back. One thing I would like to see is a description of changes when a new model is released. That would really help those of us that need to order online.

I use this shoe for walking. It has good stabilization and fit is true to size. Does feel bulky though.

Comfortable shoe except in the toe box. It could be a little wider. If it was, this would be an exceptional shoe. But again, it's just a bit narrow as your big toe and little one get pushed in when you walk but especially when you run or hike.

I had surgery to repair my right knee meniscus and my PT recommend I purchase a good supportive Tennis shoe. I asked him his thoughts on hoka since my 89 year old mom's Podiatrist had recommended them. My PT went into the website and suggested the best fit for me. I purchased them and they definitely have the support I need. They are a bit narrow since I have wide feet (otherwise I'd rate a 5 star) but, not too much of a big deal. I recommend to others. I feel it was money well spent.

Great for running or just everyday wear. Just wish the prices weren't so high.

Has helped with plantar fasciitis

My only concern is that my toes feel squished.

The sneakers are very comfortable, the size is a true fit. My one issue is I've had the product for only a month now and the traction/platform on the bottom are peeling apart

Six weeks ago, I had root meniscus tear surgery and wanted a sneaker that would support me with walking comfortably, and these sneakers did not disappoint! First off, the cushioning feels so plushy yet not overwhelmingly soft. My foot is snuggled into the sneaker with a firm hold on the sides. The design of the shoe also supports correct walking- from heel to toe- which is something I struggle with over the years. Finally, despite what reviewers were saying, the size is a perfect fit for me. Two things that people may have to get used to are the short tongue (which is not a problem for me) and the snug feeling around the Achilles area- which seems to be less noticeable with each wear (which is not often because I'm just starting to bear weight on both feet). I cannot say whether the snug feeling may impede a runner's or walker's stride. Other than that, the shoe is wonderful for walking now.

I absolutely love them. I would highly recommend them.

I love my new kicks! The only issue and its minor is that the toe area is a bt tight. I do not normally need wide shoes, mayne I have extra plumb toes, IDK?

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I have flat feet and arthritis which makes walking very painful. Much of my foot pain has ceased since wearing Hokas. However, after six months of wearing, the top layer of fabric started splitting and eventually worked through the second layer so my toe showed. I purchased them from a very reliable retailer. In spite of this defect I would purchase again and hope for better quality.

Not very comfortable for walking or exercise.

This is a nice shoe. Like the cushion and the stability but it does not come in a variety of colors or a wide width in the 4. Tried the Bondi and was told it was similar to the Gaviota but injured my foot after a couple of wears. Evidently, not the same

These shoes felt really awesome in the beginning, I was pretty surprised how quickly it felt like the padding/support was gone. Within a week of buying - had long distance walk, and feels like the shoe is already worn out.

I use my Hoka every day. They were very comfortable and I really enjoyed them. I usually buy the Arachi 6 shoe. I thought I would try something different and I have been very pleased with Them.

Very comfortable. The treads on the sole started coming off after about 2 weeks and I had to glue them back on. I would have sent them back but I already threw away the box.

From my first pair, I have been very happy with the fit and comfort. I have knee pain but not with these. Well worth the money.

never needed to trim the insole in any Hokas but this time the left one was definitely cut wrong. Otherwise I love the shoe.
