I have problems with the bottoms of my feet hurting. I've been wearing hoka rincons. Recently, I joined a gym and my feet would hurt on treadmill & elliptical. After research, I ordered the gaviota 3. They are amazing! I love these shoes & would highly recommend!

My first pair were the Arachi 4, which were fine. But I love these! The cushion is better! I walk mostly.
I normally wear an 8.5 most of my life. But lately I've worn a 9 in ASICS. I was sized at the store for an 8, which fits me perfectly

I have wide, flat feet that tend to over-pronate and chase a lot of pain. I went to my local TradeHome and the Gaviota 3's were the first shoes that were suggested to me. They're extremely lightweight and I could immediately tell a difference. I also purchased some orthotics, just because my feet tend to hurt quite a bit after I stand or walk for long periods of time, and I'm trying to help my flat arch. I've never really had tennis shoes like this before that actually helped my feet. My previous pair was the Adidas Ultraboost 20 and they hurt my feet SO BAD. They would literally tingle after I went for a walk, so I needed to fix that ASAP. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone who struggles with over-pronation and flat feet as well. BONUS: they're so cute and stylish!! I've received many compliments on them!! I cannot thank HOKA enough for creating this shoe!!!

My right foot has two bunions, one on either side of my foot so, it's hard to find footwear that's actually wearable. When I first tried these on a short run (I'm doing a "couch to 5k" program) I thought I'd have to send them back because my bunion pain was extreme. The next day I tried loosening the laces and that was all it took; now it's extremely comfortable to run! Love these and would highly recommend to anyone with wide feet and/or bunions.

I love the item. I am wearing it day. not for running but because i had surgery. As always your product is so comfortable. Its great for PT helps with balance and everything PT related. However, my last two Gaviota 2 which i loved had problems with the fabric inside. it deteriorated quite fast into holes in the heel aria. so far so good. the new one has no problems. thanks for asking . I researched and brought many products to the test. Let me know if I can help. Andrea

I purchased these shoes after years of wearing the Saucony Omni. I love the Hoka and just ordered a second pair for work. I am in healthcare and on my feet all day. I wear them for exercise as well. I do some running but mostly fast walking during my down time . I do wear an orthotic because of morton neuromas in both feet. So I order a full size bigger.

I wear these for walking for exercise. I love the added cushion of the most recent version of this shoe! I broke a toe quite a while ago, and the cushion is so much more comfortable.

My first pair of Hoka. Bought 9.5 wide, all black, my usual sneaker size.
Excellent stability, nice cushioning.
Former New Balance fan, now a Hoka convert. Hopefully more styles will be offered in wide.

I have been wearing Hoka sneakers for a few years now. They are the only ones that don't hurt my feet. I had Gaviota's that were wearing out, so I ordered these as replacements. They are a bit more narrow than the originals, but still fit great. I love them. I also love the light pink on the soles.
I do wear both a lift and custom orthotics in my left shoe. As usual, my heal was slipping out a bit for the first day or two. And as usual, everything settled and it is no longer a problem.

Thanks to Zappos's patience, these were the culmination of the purchase and return of multiple brands and styles of sneakers. The buck stops here! I have picky feet, knees, and back that require excellent support. These shoes fit the bill at every level. I can sometimes wear a medium but I have a wider foot. In these, which are wide and my typical size, I have room for my toes to move but the middle and back end of my foot are solidly contained in the shoe. The cushioning is excellent, and the broad sole is very supportive and has some protection against pronation. I wear them for walking (I used to run and might have found them a bit clunky for running) and I did a field test on a 2-mile partially-paved trail today with absolutely no complaints. Really really happy with them; they remind me of Brooks from many years ago before they got funky.

I work 10-12 hour shifts as a nurse, on my feet all day. I had the Bondi 6 but I felt like my feet & ankles were always walking uphill. I waited forever to get the Gaviota 3 in stock & I love them so much more. I dont feel like I am walking uphill & so my feet & ankles dont hurt & my feet feel more stable. I wish I had the Gaviota 3 to years ago. Will buy another pair when these wear out.

These shoes are great for walking and hiking. The slightly tapering out soles make these shoes very stable. No sprained ankles any more. Ive been hooked on Hoka’s for many years because they are the best sneakers for me. And I’ve spread the word so many of my friends now do the same.
