I bought these shoes from my work. (Sorry Zappos) I work at a store that caters to medical professionals, Hoka is 1 of our top sellers and even with a wide foot and a bunion these shoes fit me great in my true shoe size and in a medium width. You can tell by the bottom of the shoe. The shoe on the right is a wide in a different company, left shoe is the Arahi in a B.

Seemed big in toes but has not caused a problem. First day was walking on a cloud.I will see how they hold up.

I run 6 days a week on asphalt. These shows are light and extremely supportive. Very comfortable.

Looked too big, but were true to size. Excellent for high arches, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs.

Ordered 9.5 fit was good. 9.5 is my usual running shoe size. I bought the shoe for its stability. Hopefully to help with my plantar fasciitis. Good so far

The fit and stability are exactly what I need. I love the way this shoe feels. It is light while firm. I would definitely buy again; however, the Arahi 4's that I had prior to these wore out quickly in the sole and the fabric around the heel. The frame around the heel feels like wiring is getting ready to protrude. I am lightweight, a slow, casual, jogger. I was disappointed in the longevity of the shoe.

I have flat feet, bunions, am 63, and am now able to go on 4-5 mile walks. These shoes have made a world of difference to my overall health and comfort. I have already gotten another pair for fall. No more orthotics because these are so supportive.

I wore Brooks Transcend for years, but they have discontinued that model. I find the arch support in these super comfortable, without being so intense that I feel pushed over onto my fifth metatarsal. The shoes are higher than my old Brooks, but no where near as high as the Bondi 7. I ordered the wide as they are narrower in the toe box than you would guess by looking at them. I am a walker not a runner. I do wonder how all the foam will hold up over the miles.

This is my first pair of HOKAs. I've been wearing the shoes for several weeks now, thinking I would alternate with a sneaker I had bought from another company. Since finding these so comfortable, I have worn only these consistently. I wear them with my custom-made orthotics, and they work together beautifully, which is a huge plus! It took a few wearings to get used to the change from the "last/angle" of my other brand sneaker, but now these are my "go-to" shoes! I wear a 6 and 1/2 in most shoes, but I always order "up" in sneakers. I tried both a 7 and 7 and 1/2. The 7 is perfect! My feet are supported and my legs, knees, and hips feel great during and after my walks! The toe box is also very comfortable! The laces stay tied and in place too! The customer rep Jenny who helped me to determine which model to try was extremely helpful! All in all I'm very pleased!

I have plantar fasciitis. It’s so hard to find a shoe that supports my feet so I can walk. These shoes are amazingly comfortable. I wear a 7 1/2 to an 8 so I sized up and picked the 8. Perfect fit. Highly recommend and they’re so cute too!!

I have spent lots of money looking for the “perfect” shoe. I have arthritis in my feet. I always buy the best brands of athletic shoes and seek the advice of sales associates. However, most shoes end up in donation boxes. I heard about Hokas, and my doctor said they were excellent shoes. Last summer I wore the Bondi version. I got 3 pair and faithfully rotated them. Still not the perfect shoe. Then I heard about the Arahi 5, Hoka’s stability shoe. This is it! I’m actually walking with very little to no pain! I can’t say how relieved I am. The difference in this shoe is amazing. It gently holds my feet in place. If you have arthritis, give this shoe a try. My second pair arrived today.?

I wear an 8 1/2 in Keens, and this 8 1/2 fit perfectly. Super comfortable right out of the box. I have flat feet and the arch support was adequate for me. Went for a vigorous hour walk the first time I put them on, and the cushioning was super nice, almost giving me a spring to each step.

These are super comfy and I like the way they look. I have very unique and abnormal feet, so not sure my feedback on fit is applicable to other feet, but then again if they are comfy on my feet they must be comfy for a wide variety of feet!

I over pronate and decided to try this shoe. It is comfortable and lightweight, perfect for warmer weather. I also own the Gaviota style as well. They are both great shoes for those needing stability. I find the Arahi more lightweight, but provides stability just as well as the Gaviota. Both great shoes.

This is my third pair of Hokas. I wear them walking at lease 3 miles 5 days a week. The first two lasted about a year each. They offer great support and I feel very stable in them.

I actually had to exchange my first pair for the same in one size smaller. The new shoes fit perfectly, and Zappos made the exchange incredibly easy. These shoes are so light and comfortable, I no longer have heel and leg pain.

I LOVE this shoe! This is a lightweight stability shoe with forefoot cushioning! A rare find and I just bought my 3 pair in 3 different colors! I’ve never done that before…but I’ve learned the hard way that when you find “THE” shoe for you…you buy it before they go and change it. I’m a serious runner down and I’m out recovering from bunion/hammertoe surgery. I just started weight bearing last week and I know this shoe will go from my here and now situation and transition back to my trail winning in no time. it is true to size. Buy this shoe!

I don't use these shoes for running, but use them for walking long distances (long hikes, a day at Disneyland, etc.) I'm a mild over-pronator and get a lot of knee pain when I'm walking long distances, but not with these shoes! I have tested these shoes out in a variety of situations, most recently while walking 8.5 miles around Disneyland, and these shoes withstood the test. My knee did not hurt at all at the end of the day, and the shoes had plenty of cushion to keep my feet from hurting. I'm definitely planning on purchasing a second pair as a backup! Also, I love the black and white color combination - they are beautiful shoes! Thanks for making great shoes, Hoka!

These are the best sneakers I have ever owned and I am not exaggerating. I have owned nikes, ASICS, adidas, etc., I've tried so many shoes and I am so happy I finally found something that works! I have very flat feet and use orthotics, if you are in a similar situation and need extra support I highly recommend these. I have been wearing these a few times a week for the past 3 months and they have been doing great so far. I struggle with chronic pain in my feet and have been able to walk and be on my feet longer because of these shoes. But pleaseeee make more colors!! Maybe something a little more trendy for everyday wear??? I purchased a 9.5 wide and they were true to size, I have quite wide feet and there was plenty of room.
