Works very well for night shift where I put over 25,000 steps in a 12 hour shift. Only thing would be a better shoe design with more color options.

They are perfect for my feet. I love the Hoka brand as they are a good fit for me. I also have the Gaviota and love both pairs of shoes. I wear a size 7 1/2 in regular shoes, however, in a sport shoe I am an 8. I need a stability shoe as I pronate.

I use these shoes everyday all day for about 12 hours and they are amazing. I have bad knees and normally I am aching at the bottom of my feet. Not no more I recommend people try them you will never go back to regular tennis shoes again.

Super comfortable walking shoes for bunions. I have worn these shoes for all but 5 days in 2020 because I can walk over 5 miles a days and my feet never hurt.

Nice improvement over the Arahi 4 -- felt more balanced, comfortable, and a bit wider in the toe box. Find myself wishing they were a little more cushioned but I bought them for pronation, and in general am very happy with the fit.

The Hoka Ariah are the best running shoes I have ever worn. I have been a runner for over 30 years, I overpronate and my feet get very tired and sore. These shoes let me run without pain-the cushion really is remarkable. I highly recommend these shoes.

I wear a 10, and because I am short (5'1") I am selfconscious about some running shoes looking enormous on my feet. I chanced ordering a lighter color, and was surprised that my Hoka Arahi shoes actually didn't appear huge. Having used only Asics for years, since my feet overpronate severely, and I need cushion and specialized stability, I was reluctant to try Hoka based only on the enthusiastic recommendation of a friend. The level of cushioned support was remarkable, and now after months of use (on hard surfaces), I am not experiencing the knee pain that can occur with any shoe, no matter how expensive, if it doesn't handle the pronation, and have sufficient cushioning. The shoe fit perfectly in my normal size; and the toe box was more than adequate to accommodate my bunion. I am one happy woman. I average 4-5 miles 5 days a week, and hike in the hills with Vasque boots on the other 2 days.
I'd also recommend:
Vasque Breeze II hiking boots, Asics Gel Kayano 23, 24 (newer versions do not work for me)

These shoes are wonderful. They are my third pair of Hoka Arahi and they have changed my life. I used to have foot pain from high arches and tight calf muscles. With my special insoles and stretches from the doctor and these shoes, I am a happy camper (and walker).

After 3 knee surgeries, I've mostly accepted my running days are over. But I have found some satisfaction in taking long, fast walks. My knee is doing great, but after some of these walks, I would definitely be feeling it. That is until I tried out the Arahi 5. I walked 6 miles this morning, and it's like my knee doesn't even know it. I am officially a devoted fan of this shoe!

This is my third pair of Ariahs and I just love them! Somehow they've found a way to make the Ariah 5 even more cushiony and comfortable than the Ariah version 3 & 4! They've felt great from the start and I've been choosing to wear them daily since receiving them--all day not just for running. I am a severe overpronator and this style has been the most supportive I've found. It's hard to find a good stability shoe that isn't clunky and/or ugly, so I was thrilled to find these! Clearly I'm sticking with them, as this is my third pair. Highly recommend! Worth the price tag for the stability and comfort level.

I have feet that are hard to buy for because they're wide, big (womens 11), and I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis. Most shoes available in my size and width are ugly/look like old people shoes and/or aren't supportive and cushioned enough. Not these. I love hiking, birding, and nature walks but foot pain has made it harder and harder these last few years to spend as much time out as I'd like. These shoes are nothing short of a MIRACLE when it comes to keeping my feet pain free. I can go further and longer now and I don't look like a granny. I have only had them a month or so so I'm hoping they hold up a while since I'm getting a lot of wear out of them. I will definitely be buying more colors and styles in the future. Thanks Hoka for making the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn!

I have flat feet, back and knee problems. I got these shoes for work as I am in healthcare and am on my feet all day. The first few days, my feet were sore getting used to the excellent arch support and cushioned sole. Now I have no issues and would not trade these shoes for any other brand. Absolutely love them!

When I first received these and tried them on I was worried they were going to rub on the bone on the outside of my ankle. When I decided to put them on and walk in them, I couldn't believe how comfortable they were right out of the gate. No rubbing at all. In fact, I am usually wanting to get out of tennis shoes after I've taken a walk as they feel confining and these did not make me feel that way. Considering buying another pair in another color and disposing of my others.

I'm a nurse and immediately loved these shoes. I need to exchange them for a wide, but even with it being a little narrower than I like, the shoe is crazy comfortable. It keeps my feet from hurting for the 12+ hours that I wear them.

Hoka was recommended to me by an orthopedic surgeon in Virginia. He said they are are the best running shoes he'd ever found. He prescribed them to me for walking and I couldn't agree more. I've bought 3 pair so far. Love these shoes!! So comfortable.

I bought these shoes I’m the light grey and when I realized how they help take stress off of my knees, I had to get the black and white! Love them! Sizes are very accurate, so buy your usual size shoe. I walk 3-4 miles a day and have a very bad knee, but these allow me to walk at least some. No other shoes or even other styles of hokas help with my knees like this one.

These shoes are great for heel pain! I also own Hoka Bondi which are more cushioned but these have more stability on the inner arch for overpronators. At first I felt this but after walking in them a couple of times, it was not an issue.
I'd also recommend:

The fit and size was exactly what I was hoping for~! No need to return for a size larger, smaller, wider or narrower. The color was as shown and the comfort is amazing. Been so long since I've had a decent pair of tennis shoes that I had forgotten how comfortable they can be. Thanks Zappos~!

I run 4-5 miles per session and these are spectacular shoes. They are comfortable and provide stability. They replaced my Hoka Tracer 2s that are no longer available. Highly recommended!

I love these shoes. I had been wearing Brooks Ghost, and probably will again, for my planter's faciitis, and then someone told me that Hoka would be good for it too. So now I have two brands from which to choose. My orthotics fit nicely in them. One drawback is that they are ever so slightly too large so that my heels go up and down in the back more than I'd like. They are not a half size too big so I had to make a decision. I use the furthest back hold for my shoe laces and I'm used to them now. I walk 20 miles a week and I needed something. Also I got the teal ones and they are very attractive.
I'd also recommend:

I have loved Hokas for several years now. I have tried the Bondis and they were fine but I always come back to the Arahi's. Supportive yet so cushiony. Love, love, love Hoka!
