I average 4-6 miles/day. In 3 months all the tread is gone. Disappointed due to the price.

I tried the carbon x 2, but the toebax is too narrow for me. I love the harder outsole and the cushion is great. It transitions very smoothly and makes for a nice run. I prefer the Clifton Edge.

THese shoes are pretty amazing but in the end I was not comfortable with the upper. Whenever I walked up and down steps to test them out the fabrication seemed to bend and slightly pinch inward toward my foot. I planned dual use - working (which involves lots of stairs) and trail running / walking which would involve boulders steps. I usually wear an 8 - 8.5 and in the is shoe the 8.5 is best. Sadly returning.

These are the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased, but when working long shifts in healthcare I needed something supportive and comfortable. I wore them for a walk first time out of the box and they were very comfortable. Second time for a 12 hr nursing shift. Third time, another shift but I was definitely running/on my feet more and all of the sudden the front of both feet started hurting about halfway through my shift almost like the shoes weren’t wide enough. The shoes are extremely supportive and so feel comfortable to walk on however this style of hokas are not for me. Also, the tongue on this shoe is sooo weird and uncomfortable… like a harder piece of suede? Who thought that would be comfortable especially for runners?! Thank goodness for the hokas return policy that you can return within 30 days even if worn… otherwise I would be trying to make this uncomfortable pair of $200 shoes work. I have another pair coming that are wide width so I hope they work better.

I have been a Hoka advocate, lover, and supporter for 3 years. I would send them back, but unfortunately I threw away the box, because I had no reason to believe that I wouldn't love these as I have my former Hoka's. My feet are killing me after only 45 minutes into my run. My Problems: *forefoot and mid-foot have this uncomfortable "band" that rubs and hurts. I cannot figure out how to alleviate this. *the heel slips and lacing tight does not help, nor does the heal slip lacing *Forefoot is loose, the fabric is excessive and isn't comfortable These are not the Hoka comfort that I am used to. They have been my go-to's, the shoe I always recommend to other runners. I have tried to adjust the lacing to tight and loose and everywhere in between because I love Hoka's and nothing seems to improve the run. These hurt my feet by mile 3.

I did not like how I walked nor could run (around the house) in this shoe when I tried it on. It was definitely larger than other shoes same size. The upper was definitely thinner with less material than all the others I compared it to in my purchase. (I have been using the Hoka One One Clifton 7's to run in for the past 6 months or so, and used these to compare to for comfort and running ability.) I also compared it to Clifton 8's, and Arahi 5's, and Gaviota 3's. I wear a size 10, my foot is not narrow, and I am an active individual, 5'6" average build. I suggest you try these, as their potential for you may be different. Just order a half size smaller.

When I first took them out of the Box and put them on ,I thought they were going to be wonderful, but within 10 minutes of walking around inside the house, I could already feel increased unwanted pressure in certain areas areas of the foot and definitely did not have as good of lateral ankle support. My plantar left foot and lateral lower leg could already fill the strain. I returned them without an issue. The hoka gaviota is typically my go to shoe for stability, but wanted to try something new.

I love my Hoka sneakers they are like walking on air. I have had an issue with my knee and they make that feel so much better. The only thing I am a bit disappointed in is that the soles seem to be wearing out so quickly. I have worn these walking and to the gym and love them but have noticed when I am at the gym and trying to hold a plank the soles slip out a bit from under me. I would not have thought this would happen so quickly.

I wasn't aware that I could have gotten sized before purchasing. I wear a 91/2 which is the size that I ordered but it hurts my toes. Hopefully the longer that I wear them the better they'll feel. Other than that I am satisfied, they are a comfortable shoe.

I didn’t find that the sneakers had enough cushion in the soul to warrant the $180 price tag. I returned them

I like it but it's not for anything beyond 10 miles for me. I have osteoarthritis in my knee and the Bondi 7 are my Jam for long distances of 11 miles and beyond. This one is cool for a ten miler as it helps with speed

The shoes were super comfortable for 2-12 hour shifts and then they now just feel like a $60 pair of sneakers. Disappointed. I give 2 stars because they do give 30 day money back guarantee but I missed the window to return.

I run frequently for varying distances and love my hokas, i decided to try the carbons since i was in the market for a race day shoe. Trained in them for several weeks, didn't get the reactivity i wanted out of them. Also developed pains or what felt like the incoming of a stress fracture which was the final straw for me with these shoes. I'll stick to my Clifton's and arahis for now

I wasn't impressed. Maybe I got the wrong one for me but for the price, I was not impressed. The soles felt stiff and too hard on impact. I really wanted to be wow'd since I've only heard great things but unfortunately I was not. Maybe I should try another pair.

These sneakers are too big in the toe area. I slide all over the place inside these sneakers and I had the right size just too wide. They don’t have cushion like I heard Hokas are suppose to have. I’m going to try another style to see if I like them.

The fit is good, but there is not enough toe box for me.....also I don't like that the tongue is not padded...but that I could live with if the toe box had more room for my toes to spread when landing.
I'd also recommend:
OH....I just love most Hokas & have worn them for years!
