This shoe is comfortable for running. It feels a little roomier in length than usual, but not enough to be a bother. My only reason for not giving five stars is that it is not as cushy as other Hokas I have had in the past.

Runs small. Not small enough to return, but close. Better to try on first.

So glad I followed a friend's advice and purchased Hokas. I walk a lot and am in my 60's so I deserve to treat my feet well. Very comfy! My only reservation is that I wish I would have ordered a different style without that extended sole in the back. (my fault for hitting the buy button too quick) It's awkward to me and causes me to trip going down stairs. I recently broke my shoulder and so need to be very careful with these on and will only wear them when there are no stairs. I will order Hokas again when I need a new pair, but will go with a different style.

Super light, great for racing. Makes running faster feel a little easier. Toe box is a little small but otherwise one of the better running shoes I've owned.

I've always purchased Nike for running shoes. Now that I am in highschool and on the track team, the Hoka brand is all I will wear from now on. My feet thank you daily!

Absolutely love the shoe! I've always been hesitant to use Hoka's because I don't need the cushion. They've definitely worked hard to depart from that and create a neutral, speedy shoe! My foot has a little too much space at the front, but still manageable!

I felt these were wider than past Hooka’s I’ve purchased. Almost needed a thicker sock

Not a fan of color choices some seasons and this particular shoe has some kind of poppy thing going on so she is going back,

Too bad they're so bright! I wish there's some more neutral colors in women's I never find any in my size. But they are comfortable.

I use the shoes for running. The only problem is the tongue of the shoe. At the bottom it folds

Decent pair of shoes with good energy return. However, I feel as though there a bit of a 'drag' and 'heft' coming from the back of the shoes. I think Hoka should start 'shaving' off weight off of their shoes in the heel to make them feel lighter.

I've always used big name brand because they fit my feet best. But after several unhappy purchases I decided to try something else. I'm definitely happy I switched it up. These are heavier/bulkier than I am used to but they do a wonderful job of correcting. They have plenty of space for my feet to breathe. I feel like I have had way less injuries and pain that I'm normally accustomed to. I can't wait to buy another pair and it's fair to say this is my new running shoe.

I Love the shoes and so does my daughter. They were worth the high price. The sizing chart was quite accurate. When I wear them it's almost as if I'm barefoot because they are so light and comfortable. I forget they are there.. The only con is the sole is so soft that even staying on concrete like told to do so they shred so easy. I understand them needing to be super light but for almost 2 hundred dollars I would expect them to last a little longer. That being said I wear them only while on a treadmill which I know not everyone has. I would still recommend them and I plan on buying at least 2 more pair at least one designed with a sturdier sole.

I love the original carbon X and this one feels great as well, however the toe box is narrower which is a problem for my right foot. I have a very narrow arch and a wide forefoot due to a bunion. Everything about the shoe is great except the narrower toe box. I wish that would not have changed but I will keep running in the earlier version.

So far I've taken the shoes for one run. I think I sized up too much. I went a full size up and should have gone a half size. Other than that, with thicker socks on the shoe fits amazing, just a little long on the toes. I love how light the shoe feels, and the colors are awesome!!!!

After 6mos of walking, the fabric near toes area is ripped. Wish the fabric is thicker.

This shoe ran narrow for me and rubbed the outer edge of my pinky toe. I would have returned it but I missed the deadline due to the holiday weekend. They're good looking and can be worn for casual walking but not a heavy workout for me.

The seams on the inside of the shoe have large material beyond them making it uncomfortable on the top of my feet. I need to press them down every time I put on the shoe so that they are not doubled over.

I recently purchased the Carbon X 2 shoes in a size 10. I'm about a month in of using these shoes consistently for my runs and I have to say - I'm not able to see the hype. Don't get me wrong - they are comfortable and my feet don't hurt while I'm running. However, they are comparable to my New Balances which we're significantly more affordable. I'm wondering if I just purchased the wrong style of shoe that would have really wow'd me? I enjoy my Hokas but I'm not sure they're worth the price tag.
