The laces are too short. Makes it hard to tie

I have had several different Glycerin in past. I loved them because they always fit right out of the box. I sent this 19 back without wearing. It was too narrow.

They have changed to be more narrow and not as cushioned, had to return. The heel was also not as deep as my previous Glycerins so I felt it might slip. Disappointed they had to go back.

Runs very small, much small than other color pathways in this exact same shoe.

So incredibly disappointed. I've been wearing brooks for just a couple years and after seeing they no longer have my size in the ghost 13 (which were great) and reviews for the ghost 14 being very mixed, I opted for these. I'm a bigger size in brooks than other shoes, these I wear a 10.5 wide. I need a wide toe box due to foot issues, Mortons Neuroma and ra. These looked great but did not feel like a wide fit at all as a matter of fact they were quit snug and my foot started to burn within just minutes of walking in them. I hate to drive 45 minutes to my nearest fit to run but with so many reviews mentioning inconsistent sizing and changes (not for the better) within the brand I don't think going back and fourth with shipping would be worth my time.

I?ve been running in Glycerin size 7.5 for years. This year I buy the new style in 7.5 and they are too tight. I exchanged them for an 8 and they are still feeling too tight for a good comfortable run. Just been using them to wear to work. I really like the color.

Glycerin 18s are way better. The toe box of the 19s are so tight I had to size up. Not impressed. My feet don?t feel as good in these. Hoping they go back to previous model

The changes to the Glycerin's fit in the 19 version have made the shoe uncomfortable for me. I still have some fairly new Glycerin 17s that work great for me. By contrast, the 19s are annoying on my achile's tendon, have a smaller toebox, and feel cramped overall. In fact, the shoe laces were strangely too short and after trying to make room for my foot, there wasn't enough length to tie! Wanted to love them, and possibly a different size could work? I've been size 8.5 for many years, and the 8.5 in the Glycerin 17s is perfect. But in the 19s, I'd need to size up and possibly try the wide. For added detail, I need a neutral shoe with good cushioning (I'm older and carry extra weight), a narrow heel, high arch, and room for the toes.

I love the way the shoes look and when I first put them on they seemed to be a perfect fit. But, as I wore them longer they began to run rub on the tops of my toes. I’m so disappointed! It’s so hard to find narrow width shoes and I thought these felt perfect. Lots of money for what turned out to be uncomfortable.

The new Glycerin 19 has a narrower toe box and less instep support than previous models. Disappointing redesign.

I've worn Brooks for years, including Glycerin. They are always TTS. However, the Glycerin 19 runs 1/2 - 1 full size smaller. Also, the heel is very stiff, so you have to break them in. I got terrible heel blisters the first few times I ran in them. They are better now, but still stiff.

I have run in Glycerins for years. Love the cushioning of the soles. However, with the #19s I started having issues with Achilles bursitis especially at longer distances past 6 miles. I would have to either bail on the run or actually drive to a different place to finish up where there was more flat terrain. I finally compared my previous Glycerins (#14) to the #19s and the padding at the back of the collar is much thinner with the new model compared to the older one. Quite disappointing.

I bought these instead of my usual Adrenaline pair. Not happy. The heel sits lower and made me form blisters after the constant friction

These are OK. I don't love them. I bought them for fall marathon season, but after doing some long training runs, I opted not to use them for race day. I wouldn't use them for race day at any distance. I just use them for training runs. They are too wide for me and as a forefoot striker, they actually aren't that comfortable. They seem like they would be better shoes for walking in, not running. I still have an old pair of Glycerin 14's and I must say, they are so much more comfortable to run in than these.

I felt every surface I walked on. Was looking for cushion feel inside. The arch fit by Sketchers was like walking on a cloud with support. These are going back.

This is my third time buying Brooks Glycerin running shoes and I have really loved them. I am a little disappointed this time. The Glycerin 19 shoes seems to run smaller that my Glycerin 18 shoes. The 19?s also don?t feel as good on my heels.

The materials are definitely less quality than past years. Very thin material on top. The lining is terrible. You definitely have to buy sof sol inserts to wear them. Toe box used to be roomy, now they?re like all other brands.

Not as pleasurable as my first love, brooks glacier. Still trying to keep an open mind and break them in slowly.

I loved my Adrenaline shoe with mesh, but the new ones were made different! I ordered the glycerin 19 and it was too small! Back to the drawing board!

I've been a stout devotee of the Glycerin for the past several years, but I'm quite disappointed in this version of the Glycerin. They've clearly changed the arch since the last version, and it is creating a lot of pain. I have specialized orthotics that have been magic with my previous versions. In fact, I ran in an old pair of Glynerins today with them in - zero arch pain. Unfortunately, I will have to seek out an alternative as this one is just impossible. Plus, I'm really disappointed in these shoelaces, they seem flimsy and the right one (only, which is weird) constantly comes untied. Why not make shoelace selection optional with a range of shoelaces to choose from? Including Yankz or equivalent? Now THAT would personalize a shoe!

I really wanted to love theses as much as I have loved all of my Brooks. Love the weight-but narrow.

It?s been a couple of years since purchasing this style. So you can imagine I was expecting a new and improved version of the same great shoes. The size is slightly different so I had to return to up a half size up. The padding of definitely not the same?less and all around. Not the same vision feel. In fact my old shoe felt more cushioned than these new version. They look great but the function and feel for the run and walk just not the same. Not sure if I will spend this amount of money to purchase again. I?m really sad about that. Brooks was my go to shoe. Used to be so great for me since my knees need that cushion.
